Showing Up To Riot

“There will be a deep degradation in Europe, current elites are going to be replaced … Their wrong policies will lead to an increase in nationalist and extremist sentiments in European society.*

Italian government in limbo…

And Estonia.

    1. Next?
      Netherlands.

And after some real economic pain and a cold winter…
Canada will be due in about February 2023.

    1. Nothing new, except that Draghi is an unelected EU appointed oversee rather than an elected official.
Other than that, not much changes.

  1. Long past due.
These Fools and Bandits declared “We cannot cope, its an emergency”.
And then showed us what they consider proper and effective action during said emergency.
    Long past time they resigned.
For their imposed help, they must be rewarded.
A declaration of a “State of Emergency” is an admission of incompetence..
Semi intelligent persons, when they realize they cannot cope..Resign.
Getting their sorry asses out of the way so that adults can clean up the mess.

Our current “helpers” will declare endless “State of Emergency” for they are incompetent on every front.
Frightened wee bedwetter, terrified that other people see no “emergency” and desperate to control everyone ..
Banishment is way too gentle a reward.
Multiple jabs with the Government Goo would be very appropriate.
Heads on spikes is just fine with me.
But because we are “civilized” their resignations and future silence will probably save their skins..
Depends on the death rate amongst the Gullibles.

    The Kleptocracy has reached endstage.
    The makers have stopped.
    The takers are unionized.
The thieves hold full political power..
But they have destroyed so much and robbed so many, that there is no new wealth being generated..Expect ever more vicious fighting over ever diminishing rewards.
Anyone else been paying attention to business “growth” in Can Ahh Duh?

  2. It’s time to sharpen up the guillotines. Our “leaders” have not been working for the best interests of their “subjects”.

    1. They are indeed behaving like Marie Antoinettes, while our food and fuel cost more everyday.

actually worse than that, they are a cross between Marie Antoinette and Stalin , they are authoritarian, tyrannical.

      The media are their accomplices.

    2. For their current crop of potential customers, I might be persuaded that the blades actually be dulled.
      And allowed to rust.

  3. Fleeing the capitol is not for those who plan to return. Justa Trubozeau was never mentored much by his father, so he doesn’t know that something is now gone for forever. He looked like an overly determined nursing home resident wearing that big cowboy hat and flipping those pancakes at the Calgary Stampede.

    1. The white hats are for visitors. There’s a sort of welcoming group at the airport that greets VIPs and provides them. Big hats are for people with bigger brains. As PM, Harper and Laureen wore well suited black ones.

      On the plane…out …to somewhere…flying…

…”Let’s thee I haveth oneth for Mommie Ma-Mama’s fwend in Mwontreal now and oneth farth Mwelanie’s rwellative. We’re good. Jwerry’s cwousins can waitth”…

  4. Quoting Putin now, are we?
And your correspondent happily offers his take:
// Russia is only responding to the threats posed by the Western military organization to its national security. //

The “threat” of NATO is to Putin’s aim of getting back the territories that he believes rightly belong to Mother Russia.
    He said as much recently.
And how does this threat compare with the ACTUAL invasion by Russia, backed with the threat to use nuclear weapons?

    1. Putin is following his hero, Stalin’s, lead.

A “Nazi” was anyone not enthusiastically embracing Soviet Communism…. and these days “extremist” is ditto.

    2. Yes, I’m quoting Putin.

But, let’s talk about you. What’s it like to think in comic book balloons?

  5. From the Conservative Tree House:

“The yellow vests in France, the MAGA movement in the U.S., the Australian labor unions, the Canadian Truckers and now the Dutch farmers…”

Sorry, but WTF? The Australian Labor Unions in the same sentence as these other movements?

Seriously? The only thing they are to the Right of is The Greens, and even Marx is to the Right of them. They are hard Left and openly supportive of their political wing, the Australian Labor Party. The only reason – if any – they were taking to the streets in protest is/was because previous PM Sco Mo wasn’t one of them.

    1. Oddly enough….

Some of the Australian Unions have been talking to more conservative politicians, for two reasons.
      1. They have found out the hard way that neither of the major Parties can be trusted.
      2. It is starting to sink in that the “green” and Covid policies adopted with enthusiasm by the major Parties (Labor and the Greens are effectively a coalition) are incredibly bad for non public-sector workers.

Union membership has sunk to record lows outside the public sector, and it’s just possible that some union leaders have worked out that if tgey don’t get more relevant to the workers, they will become irrelevant politically.

Another identified dynamic is that the Left in this country is supported by an unofficial coalition of voters from the wealthy classes and those who live on the public purse – government employees and those on welfare. A cynic might suggest that these are the classes least likely to face immediate adverse consequences from lunatic government decisions.
