  1. The pace of borrowing for the purpose of destroying capital unexpectedly slowed in the first quarter. We may be reaching the stage where finding capital to destroy is getting harder, given that we have destroyed so much in the past.

      Gross refers to what your wife thinks of your domestic product and net is what she will be carrying your leathery old arse out to the garbage cans with. Remember – you “forgot” to take out the garbage?

      Pro-tip of the day: When she sets the net down to open up the garbage can (and she will have to set the net down unless she has a big tattoo on her forearm – and then you’re toast), run like hell.
