Remember when the public health authorities assured us that herd immunity would be achieved when a large percentage of the population was fully vaccinated? Someone needs to remind them of that, since they clearly seem to have forgotten. Who needs accountability when you can just redefine failure out of existence?

  1. It sounds to me like so many people, including Fauxi, don’t have the first clue what “herd immunity” is, and what it is NOT.
    In others it is understandable, in Fauxi, it’s unforgiveable.

      COVID is corona virus. There has never, ever, been a successful vaccine against corona virus diseases because of it’s high mutation rate.
      The best example is the flu vaccine. They make (somewhat) educated guesses about which mutation is going to dominate next year and create a vaccine based upon that. It will give some protection against that mutation variant, less and less against others, and of course, they often make a mistake in what variant will dominate, and vaccinate everyone against the wrong one.

      It was known from the start that COVID would be no different. But there was a ton of money to be made by vaccinating every person in the world, several times … and pharma companies are well known for being much more interested in treatments rather than cures – they want a subscription from you, keep coming back for whatever is keeping you alive rather than a one time payment for a cure and never see you (or your money) ever again.

    I’ve seen reports that most have really compromised immune systems and will have VAIDS sooner or later. I can’t think of any good reason this shot would have been released to the public given what Pfizer knew.

    They could have simply released saline shots for everyone.

  5. In ontario, according to the govs website, where roughly 18/19 percent are considered “not fully vaccinated”(and including the 0-4 age range):

    82 percent of hospitalizations are in vaccinated

    74 percent of icu cases in vaccinated.

    Worth the hundreds millions or billions?

  6. I’m mixed on this. It’s too much to expect the authorities to be all knowing at the start of a pandemic. It’s a learning process for everyone.

    What I didn’t like was the outright lying they sometimes did “for the greater good”. As an example, to downplay the importance of masks so that health workers wouldn’t be competing with the general public in accessing them, only to completely reverse their position shortly after, destroyed their credibility right up front. It was extraordinarily short sighted.

They KNEW the shots didn’t work and were dangerous, they KNEW masks don’t work, but they ALL rolled over and did whatever the WHO told them to.

          But there have been many studies on the effectiveness of masks, and overall they reach the same conclusion. I chose this particular paper because it’s very recent and it’s in a real-life rather than laboratory setting.

          What is your reason for believing that masks don’t work?

            Many of those papers do not directly address the effectiveness of masks in preventing COVID. Some, for example, are for influenza, others are for cloth masks, others address CO2 levels, and so on. A few seem to find at least limited support for masks’ effectiveness. Others are not studies at all, but rather are summaries of other studies.

Any discussion about the effectiveness of masks in public spaces needs to take into consideration the question of how many people are likely waltzing around in grocery stores etc. with Covid. Transmissions have primarily occurred in confined spaces with obviously sick people. Also, you need to get a certain viral load to get seriously sick. A slight whiff of the virus from a stranger who sneezes nearby is not likely going to do it, unless your own immune system is especially weak. CDC recommended testing if you have been in a confined space with a sick person for at least ten minutes. I think the masks are largely not effective because they are being used in contexts where transmission is not very likely. I would, however, not object to being asked to wear a mask in a care home.

          Scientific research is a long way from perfect, but it’s our best chance for discovering the truth. It certainly beats your hunches by a country mile. Healthy skepticism is critical, but ignoring the research is not healthy skepticism, it’s just feeding your own predispositions.

The ” research” in the case of Covid mitigation measures and vaccines is somewhat conflicting, but on balance certainly does not support masks, lockdown or massive vaccine programs. Also, the vaccines are not preventing the spread of the virus, so there is no justification for mandates. The absolute effectiveness of these vaccines was around 1% — that means you have to give thousands and thousands of doses before they have any impact at all. ( Suggest you read up on absolute vs. relative effectiveness.) Also, scientific research on the risks with these vaccines is being systematically ignored.

            The vaccines don’t do much to reduce infection rates for the current COVID variants.

            They have a powerful effect, however, on reducing the severity of the symptoms when you do get the disease. In short, they help keep people out of the hospital, and the ICU, and the morgue. And yes, that’s backed up by research. It’s also backed up by statistics collected by the Province of Ontario.

            Note that 27% of the patients in the ICU are unvaccinated, which greatly exceeds the percentage of older completely unvaccinated people in Ontario, which runs around 5%. The death statistics make an even better case for getting vaccinated.

            One problem with the stats us how ” unvacvinated” are counted. The figure often includes vaccinated but not 14 day wait. . . A vaccine reaction could easily be identified as a Covid case and often is. Apart from crude cars comparisons, I think it is very hard to make a case that the vaccines protect against serious illness and death.

    1. Yes, the jabs do not provide much protection at all. Just for a very limited period, at great risk.

      The first 14 days after the shot, your immune system is suppressed, on purpose. Then, with each jab, the period of “effectiveness” gets smaller and smaller. In essence, your immune system has been compromised after 6 months, the jabbed have NO PROTECTION, and in fact, are more susceptible to infection and more serious diseases, and, repeated infections if they don’t die first.

      Say goodbye to your immune system, jabbed peoples. I feel sorry for the deceived, but not for the zealots like PG, KM and their ilk. They will get what they deserve, endless illnesses, and worse. The die is cast. GVB warned everybody early on, amongst others.

    He and the other “experts” went against all science to push the creation of a large third group, those who were vaccinated AFTER already being infected.

    I have yet to see anything showing there isn’t prolonged protection through T-cell immunity for those who went through a Covid infection and have never been vaxxed. On the other hand, there is some evidence that the “infected then vaxxed” group is the one most susceptible to reinfection.

  18. Lots of pushback in the comments. Good sign. Some noted that the Dr. Provides no proof that the vaccines have prevented serious illness and death. He just makes that claim. It is another of those ” repeat it often enough . . . ” I also think the claim is used by medical people to assuage their consciences. It allows them to continue ignoring the problems with the vaccines.

      For scientific issues such as whether masks or vaccines are effective, I like to see what the preponderance of research says. Doesn’t mean I believe it absolutely, but I give it a “probably true”. What’s your method?

            When you consider Stew Peters a good source of info…..There are some great publications available and researchers doing great work trying to answer many questions outstanding.

            IMHO, governments have sometimes lied about or overstated their cases, and public policy has often been questionable. But much of what they said about COVID has been true, and we shouldn’t deny that just because the government said it.

In the UK, where there still a semblance of plain raw data posted, the vaxxed are worse off than the unvaxxed, and measurably and demonstrably so.           The idea that athletes are dropping in unprecedented numbers due to myocarditis from vaccination is very iffy. There has been no formal research on it. One outlet went through the well-known video of athletes dropping on the field and found that — of those clips where they could determine the athlete and date — many had nothing to do with myocarditis and vaccination. A fair number of those athletes hadn’t even been vaccinated yet.

          I think we’re being manipulated.

  20. A lot of discussion here about what is true, who to believe, what science to follow, on and on, ad infinitum. The experts at the very beginning told us that the virus was 99% survivable and in the same breath ushered in the requirements that off-label drugs could not be used for treatment that we had to wait for the vaccine which has proven to be less safe and effective than promised. The same can be said about Carbon Taxes saving the planet and that we must depend on wind and solar power in the future. If these examples are not not enough to make you disbelieve everything that the government tells you, then you are truly dumber that a bag of hockey pucks at an outdoor hockey arena in Prince Albert in the middle of January.
