The Canadian Senate: The Final Frontier

Basically, with the exception of the lawsuits being launched against the government by the Canadian and Ontario civil liberties associations and the province of Alberta, the Senate is the final chance for Justin Castro’s draconian power grab to be stopped. Will Senators rubber stamp the Emergencies Act? Or will they act in the interests of Canadian citizens and democracy?

Interesting rumblings here:

An independent Senate might prove to be a challenge for the Liberal government as it is asking the Upper Chamber to extend the Emergencies Act.

Should we have faith? I mean hey, Canadians are so very principled lately.

More stuff:

Has the Great Canadian Underbussing started? Dean has thoughts here. The international press coverage of Trudeau has been absolutely ruthless and the CBC fangirls and his inner circle cannot possibly be blind to the condemnation. Will the Libranos backtrack?

Lastly:

If you would like to communicate your thoughts to members of the Senate, you may do so using this contact form.

The person who created it and shared it with me knows it probably won’t help, but he felt he had to do something.

  1. The senate will make sure whatever is left of Canadian democracy finishes the evening as a roadkill smear across the Trans Canada highway.

As a result, I will Sieg Heil our Fuehrer will sycophantic fervor. Endfile.

    1. The trans-canada highways are long. Please note that the death will occur either in Toronto (the master) or Ottawa (the ball-gagged bitch).

Or should that be the other way around?

  2. From the linked tweet:

“Freeland could be going to jail.”

Please let’s not confuse wishful thinking with reality. Besides we’re not a country of law anyway.

    1. I know it’s wishful thinking, but the regime that she is a part of HAS been using Fruit From A Poisoned Tree (information obtained illegally) to impose extra-judicial punishments. The legal liability that they are placing themselves under is substantial.

      1. The legal liability that they are placing themselves under is substantial.

Since when has that stopped a Liberal government?

      2. “The legal liability that they are placing themselves under is substantial.”

It would be substantial in a country of law. But we’re talking Bananada here. Potato got exonerated from the WE Charity scandal which would be an instant career ender for him plus prison time for many involved, had Bananada been a civilized country. Potato and his junta get exonerated in SNC Lavalin scandal, that among other things involved funding for pimping of Canadian prostitutes to a son of an internationally disgraced dictator. This too should have been a career ender. And then blackface…. the list is long, the system is corrupt to the core. They will never be held responsible.

        1. Many people, both here and in the US, are still clinging to the delusion that Canada and the US are countries of laws. We’re long past that.

      3. Edward Teach …
That is correct … LIABILITY . The criminal code explicitly describes Possession of Stolen Property and its use. Legally they MAY be able to use the hacked data after the 14th or 15th , which appears to be what they did , but then as of this Monday they stopped freezing bank accounts (reported 206 frozen).

That begs the question , was use of the hacked data stopped because it was actually illegal (even after the 15th) as the Emergency Act has not yet been ratified by the Senate or the fear of a massive blow back ?

    2. Yes, as per usual when it comes to the Libranos, there will be no legal action taken by the Crown, nobody will be going to jail, and no fine will be levied or paid. “Laws” are for little people.

    3. Yeah that’s some fantasy right there. Members of the regime cannot beak the law by definition. They are the law.

    1. Exactly that, anyone who hopes that the useless senate will somehow defeat the ruling Junta is deluding themselves.

Let Potato’s junta own it I say. Canada is a laughingstock of the civilized world right now. And the capricious state looks worse and worse every day. Not only they look like petty tyrants, but they look like petty incompetent tyrants. They’re already backing out of account seizures. They’re hoping that they have scarred truckers enough that this will somehow comeback to normal while the key troublemakers will remain suppressed through lawfare. Not gonna happen. Not this time.
      Honk! Honk!

      1. Colonialista ….. Honk! Honk! to that. Good insight. Thanks. We’re foucked as far as government saviors are concerned. It’s like a scene from the wizard of oz when the curtain is pulled back. It’s only government. The people hold the power. There is a growing ground swell to what is right and it’s not the Turd’s vision of CCP lite.

  3. Corrupt. Like the rest.

But if you want to experience the same crazy feelings of hopium waiting for the US courts to overturn rampant voter fraud after the last ‘election’ then enjoy.

All cards are on the table. Fortunately, every day, their side gets weaker as more get sick, die suddenly, refuse the next dose, realize we’ve gone too far, lose their jobs to the coming blockades or just want the crap to end.

And keep in mind, we are right next door to the United States. As corrupt as their system is, if we become a threat, I’m pretty sure the war games never had many Canadian victories….much less with a huge chunk of people welcoming the US as liberators. Where exactly does Justin station the tanks to ensure victory? One at each border crossing?

    1. Strangely, the Durham investigation from even earlier is starting to bear fruit. And the Dems are starting to worry about how it is that Russian Collusion and hacking was done to Trump, not by him. Strange fruit indeed…

  4. I think, unfortunately, that we are in a post-principled age, where people including legislators make choices based on self-interest.

So, you’re a senator. Do you want the Senate to be relevant, and thereby draw attention to yourself? Or would you prefer to remain anonymous, out of sight of the cancel mob that still wants blood?

I wish this was about the Charter or basic fairness, but that’s so last-millennial of me.

  5. I spent the better part of the afternoon phoning every Senator labelled as a rep of British Columbia, with one exception, gangster Liberal Larry Campbell former thug Mayor of Vancouver, what would be the point in talking to that asshole.

While I didn’t get to speak with any of these LIberal Senators, I did leave all of them messages… not that it will do any good as the country is completely lost at this point, but just so they know that not everyone is happy with our new WEF Turdhole/NDP Dictatorship Police State called, Turdholeland… named after Klaus Schwabs favorite ass plug, Juthtin Turdhole.

    The country is lost.
Awesome how quickly the cops turned into the KLaus Sschwab Gestapo, they must really love Riech Fuher, Juthtin Turdhole.

  6. Can someone please ask the Senators what the Emergency really is?

I lived through the Original George Floyd Riots. Looking at the peaceful and boisterous “Truckers Protest?” I can say that many of the people of Minneapolis and Saint Paul would have loved to exchange the possible lurking danger of the truckers protest for the real violence and damage we suffered. $500 Million Dollars in damage to businesses, homes, and government buildings. two deaths, unknown numbers of injured police, protesters, and bystanders. People rendered homeless when 1500 buildings were damaged, destroyed, and 150 burnt to the ground.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Floyd_protests_in_Minneapolis%E2%80%93Saint_Paul

Compare that to Ottawa. Was one window broken by any protester? Stores looted? Arson? Murder? Beatings?
How about Coutts? Pembina? Windsor? The only people I saw committing violence and breaking your criminal laws were the Canadian Police.

Maybe the crime is daring to ask PM Trudeau to answer questions from his citizens?

    1. Or the crime could be expecting Trudeau to answer as a responsible adult. Keep in mind his education and work histories prior to this, what make you think he could handle an HR query for being Mr. Bad-Touch (think about his work histories and NDAs) let alone a full-blown challenge to his constitutional rights and responsibilities?

He’s riding the tiger, and the party and MSM are trying to give him a saddle and what they think are appropriate whips and bridles and other MSBD accoutrements as are needed to keep him on top (as it were).

  7. The Senate is the only nursing home in Canada with zero Covid deaths.

When you tell them there is a war with Russia, they gently pat your hand and kindly whisper; “No dear, it’s called the USSR.” and offer you a dusty mint from a circular metal box.

Most of these old farts avoided the draft in the war of 1812 when the Brits fought against the great American hero Joesph (Crackpipe) Robinette Biden Jr.

Fun fact, two of the current sitting Senators both met Queen Victoria and survived the Titanic. (Too soon?)

The Senate is still trying to figure out why they took Beachcombers off the air and think they are are voting to restore the greatness of Darryl Sittler in the hope that the Earth’s shining glory(hole), Toronto will be lifted once again to hockey greatness.

They raise their ancient limbs and feebly shout;. “yes! and to the devil with the Kaiser! Huzzah!”

Some of the women on the Senate are trying to puzzle out how they got there, — spousal inheritance I guess.

    1. I wish these were true, the jokes about the fossils in the senate. The pictures I’ve seen of the senate show a relatively young crowd. Many years ahead to feed at the trough.
Also, apparently a majority appointed by Justin Trudeau. I’m not sure how that’s even possible, although I know that Harper left office with many vacancies in the senate. I was a fan of Harper , but he made mistakes.

  8. There was a running gag in the movie “Advise And Consent” where the stereotype of an unreconstructed southern Senator would sleep through Senate proceedings until a vote was called, and he would wake up just in time to rise and shout: “I am opposed, Suh, diametrically opposed!”

The Canuck variety of senator warbles just the opposite: “I support The Regime!”

And don’t be the first one to stop the ovation for the Generalissimo….

    1. That went for Stalin. It didn’t matter if your factory did well. If you were the first to stop applauding and sit down, you disappeared.

  9. The RCMP is working to UNFREEZE the bank accounts??
Puleeze! It’s going to take much, much more than a few token gestures from any of these assholes to get me back in the corner of the “Cops!”
I was on 109 St last Saturday in Edmonton and the display by our “Finest” was disgusting.
Are ya listening Sohi? And McFee or McFoo or whatever? Go back to PA and take Sohi with you. 3 or 4 dozen cops to enforce a noise violation? Really?
I will never look at you clowns as I was taught as a kid.

    1. “Puleeze! It’s going to take much, much more than a few token gestures from any of these assholes to get me back in the corner of the “Cops!””

They are not doing it it to please you. They are doing it because they were told to do so by their political masers. And political masters made them do it because political masters felt that account seizures make political masters look particularly evil.

  10. Of course they are going to betray the nation.
    That is what they do.

After the Senate approves Emperor Justine’s supreme authority, then the minions get to chose.

The real power of This State of Thuggery, lies with those who obey orders..
    So what will they chose?
    Pensions and Paychecks?
    Or Freedom?
    As if you can’t guess.

    Then the madness begins..

If you want something done right?
    Do it yourself.
Canada is collapsing under the weight of an enormous parasitic overload.
    No politician gives a damn.

$9 trillion in debt for 40 million people, with no long term infrastructure to show for these “investments” is treason.

If we care for the nations survival,we need to stop the bleeding and seek retribution upon the parasites bloated with stolen wealth..
Never going to happen through Ottawa.

And now,as the Other Peoples Money runs out,the druggies seek their fix by rifling through poor peoples bank accounts..on suspicion of Badthink..

Look into the soulless eyes of our “helpers”..OPM,need more OPM..

We are watching the fools and bandits who form the Confederated Kleptocracy of Can Ahh Duh,turning on each other..

No point working if you are certain to be robbed.
And the scum of Ottawa are in the process of making their stealing “The Law”…

Obey the law, give to dear Leader all you own and sign up for “Assisted suicide” as soon as you stop paying taxes..
For good citizens must obey the LAW.
    The Liberal Dream.

Or we can cull the freeloading useless eaters, who claim they shall rule and that they and only they decide what our rights and freedoms shall be.

Yet I need nothing from them, and can clearly see they will starve without our help and tolerance for their pilfering.

    Parasites cannot rule.
    They can only destroy.

    1. Just as in France, the Senate will make noises to make it look good. Then they will rubber stamp it. Its a fundamental weakness of the Parliamentary system that one side of the government is appointed by the other. They all end up rubber stamping whatever the so-called “people’s” house wants to do.

Thank God our Senate is elected and is directly accountable to the people. They are a self serving bunch if crooks but at least they don’t feel a need to defer to the House.

  11. Question: would ATB freeze customers bank accounts?
I asked ATB directly, no response yet.
I emailed Jason Kenney, no response yet.
I called the Treasury Minister, left a voicemail: no response yet?

Here is your big chance ATB and Alberta, make a difference!

I think the Run from the big four would be epic!

    1. government run banking? That’s the worst idea to ever be tried!

Except, perhaps, for all of the other ideas that have been tried.

  12. That article is purely a PR exercise showing that the Senate had misgivings and very carefully and lovingly looked at this legislation and decided they had to support it.

  13. I just saw the unfreezing news….

Yeah, I still have a ton of ‘banking’ to take care of.

When a chick tells you she’s going to cut off your balls, you listen.

    1. Amen, I have a meeting with the Royal on Thursday to begin the process. It is not an insignificant amount (not bragging) my feeling i got from my business banking rep was that i was not the only one she is dealing with. My dad, CBCized to the max thinks i am over reacting, i told him he is hypnotized.

  14. I’ll bet there are Senators who have never met the Bong. That is indicative of the contempt that he holds them in.

    1. Basic Dick Juthtin Turdhole condemns the authoritarian regime of Canada, I mean Russia.
In other “news’ Hitler condemns the final solution.
Both Hitler and Blackface Hilter agree that we should not tolerate these people.

      Evil fukker.

      1. He really is evil. I honestly have never seen anything like it. He is the banality of evil personified. All my life I have been under the impression that evil leaders were always killers. But this situation has proven that the two don’t necessarily go hand in hand. You can be appallingly evil while putting on a (smugly) smiling face on it.

        1. Turdhole has always reminded me of a Paul Bernardo type of personality and the looks too.

          The “charming” psychopath.

          1. Yeah. He doesn’t have to kill. He just casually destroys the lives of defenseless citizens, all with that insufferable, you can’t touch me, smirk on his face.

  15. Re: Senate.

It doesn’t happen too often that the Senate refuses to pass a bill. And while I understand that they are appointed by the Governor General at the PM’s request or suggestion, they can’t be terminated for the way they vote. Why they don’t refuse more bills is hard to understand.

But then we put up with it, now don’t we??

  16. Why are these businesses suing the convoy? How were they prevented from doing business? How do they allege they were harmed? Other businesses were open and serving everyone. I would really like to know.

    1. the businesses in question are suing because they took the government’s advice and closed for hte duration… some of them were failing to begin with, so they need the extra money before their creditors pick over their carcasses

  17. If the Senate just rubber stamps the obviously fraudulent and political use of the emergency act, then the senate in Canada may as well not exist. Isn’t this exactly the reason there is a senate in the first place? If they shirk their duty here then it’s just a way to reward party loyalists.

    1. If the Senate just rubber stamps, then the senate in Canada may as well not exist.

If the Senate upsets, (it won’t), The Regime’s seminal emergency powers moment, the Regime’s Maximum Leader will address His people from the balcony, exhorting them to tear the Senate chamber apart, bit by bit, for daring to demur in the face of widespread popular support of emergency powers. The Senate is anti-democratic, and The Regime is the guardian of democracy, the protector of the people. Only the Regime can speak for the people.

      1. The Regime is the perfect embodiment of the will of the people, and The Maximum Leader speaks for the people.

        I denounce you.

  18. Lot of nasty comments here tonight; I need to report your disloyalty and lack of grovelling to the RightThink helpline!… 😉

    On a slightly different note, Gold hasn’t really changed much in the past couple of days. Yeh,up and down but pretty much ends up back where it started;
    https://www.kitco.com/images/live/gold.gif

  19. Sink thus fucktard ship, maybe there are some balls in this wimp kanuckistan politico sphere, and the asshole himself we need him outta here, fucking shithead.

  20. The so called Senate is neither ‘independent” of the Liberal Mafia nor is it a place for sober second thought of Liberal/NDP dictates.

The Senate is stacked with Liberal Party hacks, stooges and bagmen and they will do as they’re told.
No way that the Turdhole/NDP Dictatorship would even attempt this lawless coup without the expressed beforehand knowledge that the Senate was not going to get in the way of Basic Dickhole and his Globalist comrades in the NDP.

This is just more theatre… get out the rubber stamps assholes and stop pretending to give a shit.

  21. This is the way Canada ends.
This is the way Canada ends.
This is the way Canada ends.
Not with a bang, but a whimper.

  22. Since the bill must be signed by the Governor General to become law, she is actually the last hope! Unfortunately she too doesn’t have anything resembling intestinal fortitude or balls so I expect the bill to be rubber stamped.

My understanding is that only one Canadian GG has ever refused to sign a bill in to law.

  23. The Liberal party and more than a few of the NDP and Conservatives have been infiltrated by the WEF. Think about this. The virus is weakened, most people now have natural immunity, more information is coming out every day that the vaccine is not only useless but dangerous. Trudeau declared martial law for an insurrection that wasn’t an insurrection. He now needs the Senate to rule that the Martial law is legal without any evidence that there was an insurrection, only bouncy castles and children and singing. If the senate rules that the martial law is acceptable, we can be sure that the Senate has also been infiltrated and the Martial law will continue. If this happens, the next step will be national vaccine passports for all people. It will become law. Remember, the vaccines don’t work and the virus is a very weak strain that the vaccine has no effect on. The vaccine passport will be the digital equivalent of the CATTLE CARS. Always keep in mind that the globalists, which the Liberals and NDP are part, aren’t Canadians and they don’t care about Canadians. They are globalists looking out for themselves, we are just in the way. It’s a big club but you aren’t in it. Everything that has happened since the “virus” was introduced on North America has been based on lies to subdue and enslave the people.

  24. Our last chance is the sagacity of an unelected and unaccountable body of ex musicians, hockey players and failed political candidates. If this was warfare Canadians would be caught in an inescapable pincers movement. One can always hope I guess.

  25. My comment to the Senate, pointed out that once a precedent is set, the action can, and will be used again.
“Imagine a time in the not too distant future, when the Liberals are defeated, and the CPC/PPC is elected government. And demonstrations happen by your favourite Leftwing organization, Greenpeace, David Suzuki, pipeline protestors, Extinction Rebellion. What is to stop the EA from being enacted, and your enviro friends have THEIR assets seized, accounts frozen, etc?
Karma. It will happen. Better think twice, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.”

Don’t know if they’re smart enough to understand critical thinking skills.

    1. You forgot the important information,as these parasites think only of themselves, that retribution will involve criminalizing past behaviour(Just as Ottawa is currently doing)..

“Are you now or have you ever been a supporter, contributor to the Liberal Party of Canada*?”
      * includes proxy parties such as NDP, Greens and Progressive Conservatives.

For using the current abuses by government as a model, all Liberals and NDP voters, all current State Minions and anyone else you can condemn in large sweeping groups, are personally responsible for the collapse of civil society in Canada.

$9 trillion in debt, that is gonna take a whole bunch of department closing, asset seizing ,trust fund raiding, pension stopping and sale of culprits as body parts… to pay down.

Got to love them new rules.
      Forward!

  26. [drum roll] Survey says…. The PM-appointed Senate will rubber stamp the legislation, the PM-appointed GG will proclaim it, courts up to and including the PM-appointed SCofC will uphold it under the Section 1 umbrella, and we will all STFU and put our masks back on – NOW!
