The Great Honkening Is Working Its Magic

The honking will continue until the freedom is improved.

This is very interesting.

While Justin Trudeau hides in his basement, sucking his thumb in a fetal position, maybe scarfing down some Toblerone bars, he’s decided not to speak to the public, and instead has sent out his idiot representatives to talk to the public.

Meanwhile, Canada’s Chief Medical Kook, Dr. Teresa Tam, is publicly sending out pivoting smoke signals. What do you think? I think this is a sign that the Great Honkening is working its magic.

“Speaking to reporters at the weekly public health briefing, Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam said all existing public health policies, including provincial vaccine passports, need to be “re-examined” in the coming weeks — because it’s clear now that Canada and the rest of the world will be grappling with this virus for months or years to come.

“What we need to do going forward, as we emerge out of this Omicron wave, is recognize this virus is not going to disappear. We need to be able to address the ongoing presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in a more sustainable way,” Tam said.”

“Tam said the Public Health Agency of Canada is talking to its provincial and territorial counterparts to chart a path forward for a country exhausted after two years of enduring some of the most restrictive measures in the developed world.”

Together, she said, these agencies will review the current “suite of measures,” including severe border restrictions and travel limitations.

“I think the whole concept is, we do need to get back to some normalcy,” Tam said.

    1. How about a T shirt with an image of a Canada goose on it. Surely no one could take offense at that, honk honk.

  1. Thanks for this update, Laura! Btw what Theresa Tam is doing now is PRECISELY what either Benjamin Dichter or Viva Frei (I can’t remember which) predicted would happen a few days ago.

What an Amazing Month to be a Canadian!!!

    1. Tam and the rest of the COVID elites only need to look at Israel … two jabs + 2 boosters .. 4 jabs total so far and they have the highest infection rate since COVID began.

None of these lying ba$tards want to admit what they now know … the mRNA shots are a total failure.

This scenario was predicted by those like Dr. Malone , Dr. McCullough . Vaccinating during a pandemic with a leaky vaccine for coronavirus only spurs more variants … and end up chasing your tail via wack-a-mole.

      1. Yes they are. And it is no surprise. This was noted in the U.S. Navy document that had been released by Project Veritas.

“The gene-encoded, or “mRNA” VACCINES WORK POORLY because they are synthetic replications of the already-synthetic SARSr-Cov-WIV spike proteins and possess no other epitopes. The mRNA instructs the cells to produce synthetic copies of the SARSr-Cov-WIV synthetic spike protein directly into the bloodstream, wherein they spread and produce the same ACE2 immune storm that the recombinant vaccine does. MANY DOCTORS IN THE COUNTRY HAVE IDENTIFIED THAT THE SYMPTOMS OF VACCINE REACTIONS MIRROR THE SYMPTOMS OF THE DISEASE, WHICH CORROBORATES WITH THE SIMILAR SYNTHETIC NATURE AND FUNCTION OF THE RESPECTIVE SPIKE PROTEINS. The vaccine recipient has no defense against the bloodstream entry, but their nose protects them from the recombinant spike protein quasispecies during “natural infection” (better termed as aerosolized inoculation).

Furthermore, the EcoHealth proposal states that a “vaccine approach lacks sufficient epitope coverage to protect against quasispecies of coronavirus”. Consequently they were trying to make vaccines work by “targeted immune boosting via vaccine inoculators using chimeric polyvalent recombinant spike proteins”. THE NATURE OF USING A SPIKE QUASISPECIES MAY EXPLAIN THE UNUSUAL (AND POTENTIALLY DETRIMENTAL) ANTIBODY RESPONSE AMONGST THE VACCINATED TO THE NEW COVID VARIANTS. FUNDAMENTALLY, THE KNOWLEDGE THE PROPOSAL PROVIDE SIGNALS THAT THE RISK OF ANTIBODY DEPENDENT ENHANCEMENT (ADE) FROM VACCINATION SHOULD BE EVALUATED WITH HIGH PRIORITY, ON TOP OF THE REALITY THAT SINGLE-EPITOPE VACCINES WILL HAVE LITTLE EFFECTS AGAINST SARSR-COV-WIV, AS INDICATED IN THE PROPOSAL.

“The mechanism to improve the SARSr-CoV-WIV spike protein (other than direct engineering) is to challenge it against animals that have spike protein-only antibodies. The attenuated virus will either die or adapt its form to neutralize the spike protein-only antibodies. The intent was to perform this task against humanized mice and then “batified” mice. Instead it was done with the world’s population.”

      2. You mean the Israeli data that shows the unvaccinated are many times more likely to have severe disease or die?

The same data that shows 3 or more shots of Pfizer decreases risk to almost zero?

        1. ALLEN ASS

“..The same data that shows 3 or more shots of Pfizer decreases risk to almost zero?..”

BULLSHIT sonny. Seems to me from the many bits of data and from my own experience within our family, that it’s those who are dble/triple jabbed that are getting sick and violently so given their immune systems have been severely compromised.

          But you go little boy…

    2. The Tam story is 3 days old. I would put more credence to it if it was issued today, and not from The Corpse either.
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, chatter is just chatter without concrete, verified, statements of change.
Faith in the Liberal government can be saved for its Rainbow unicorn followers only

    3. When Theresa Tam says the virus is not going away, it’s like a place holder for future variants they are going to require when the need arises to move us a few more steps toward Communism.

      1. It not biological science, like whether a virus is alive or not; i’s political science, like communism. The virus is just how it spreads. In either case, it’s a parasite.

    4. Viva Frei was on the Steve Bannon show this past Saturday and he was the one who said these Communists Leaders will let the medical leaders of their countries come out and say we need to take a different course of action, this was the Communists Scum avoid saying they were wrong all along. That is how the Cowards do it. SOYBOY will do this.

  2. Seen over at Legal Insurrection: “Canada: Alberta Joins Saskatchewan in Preparing to End COVID-19 Restrictions.”
“Earlier this week, I noted that Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe set a target date in late February to end vaccine requirements for his province officially. Now Alberta’s prime minister is preparing to end them as well. Alberta will move toward lifting COVID-19 restrictions early next week, starting with the Restrictions Exemptions Program and measures involving children, Premier Jason Kenney said Thursday.”

Video and much more at the link, including news of an anti-mandate convoy forming in Austria: “Aram Lemmerer, 39, is a business owner and an anti-mandate organizer in Austria. He told the Star he spoke to a crowd of anti-vaccine protesters last weekend and got a ‘roaring’ response by evoking the images of trucks rolling into the Canadian capital. ‘I said, has anybody seen what was going on in Canada?’ he said. ‘And the roar you got was like a soccer stadium, crazy. The next question I ask: Shall we do the same thing in Austria? It was a wave of roar, it was insane.’ Lemmerer said he and two other organizers have a commitment of 2,500 vehicles driving to Vienna in a convoy on Feb. 13, including cars, trucks, tractors and cyclists, although he said he didn’t know how many would ultimately come. They want the current government to give up all restrictions and resign. Austrian lawmakers on Thursday approved a measure to mandate COVID-19 vaccinations for its entire population, or face a fine equivalent to more than $700.”

      1. Fat Kenney will reneg on lifting the restrictions and orders. Wretched Knothead tells him what to do.

I use the term “Rat Bastard Commie” a lot.

    1. Rather than Mark Holland saying we have to wait for the US to remove their restrictions, take the opportunity to show Canadian leadership on this.

      1. Mark Holland does not understand America. There’s this thing called federalism. The states set their own restrictions. The feds can only do things nationally. That’s why blue states are stupid and red states are functioning because the red states were open and masking was personal choice.

Somebody should send him the book the Federalist papers.

          1. That’s a color-coded map of the US. The blue states have the most Covid restrictions the red states do not! Lol

Guess which states are doing better?

  3. I read this in a Twitter comment …

“I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.”

    Robert A. Heinlein

    Brilliant. And 100% correct.

    1. Heinlein was a great man. I’ve read most of his work.
I think he may have been the one to come up with the “competent man” libertarian archetype.

      1. Have never read him. Suggestion to start?
I’ve never been into SciFi but I often hear about him.
Your “libertarian archetype” got my attention.

        1. I read a bit of Heinlein when I was in high school. Starship Troopers (which loosely served as the basis for a truly cheesy movie) and Orphans of the Sky were two of his novels.

          1. Edward Teach:
When I was 8 in France, when it was time for gym class (read play football), we all just pulled our shorts out of our schoolbags and got changed, right there in the classroom.
Oh, and they served us watered-down wine with lunch.
Much of North America is a bunch of hung-up prudes and temperance league Karens.

          2. You mean you didn’t dig the co-ed shower scene?

            ET:

Denise Richards got my attention a lot in that movie, even though she turned out to be the worst Bond girl ever in The World Is Not Enough.

Still, the Mobile Infantry wasn’t co-ed in the novel. When the first novella of what eventually became Joe Haldeman’s The Forever War was published in Analog, the army depicted in it had women serving alongside men. Some readers suggested that had Heinlein written Starship Troopers in the late 1960s, it would have been like that.

        2. I remember reading the book “The Door into Summer” when I was about 12. Loved it!

I would also recommend reading the novels of Neville Shute – many were based in Australia after World War II.

          1. Loved door into Summer. This is from ‘Time Enough for Love’
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

          2. Rmgk:

I remember reading that passage in Analog just before Time Enough for Love was published. The magazine printed it as a teaser.

        3. I’d start with “Starship Troopers”
Lotsa common sense in that book.
“Have Spacesuit, will Travel” and “Stranger in a Strange Land” are pretty good, too.
“Space Cadet”, “The 6th Column”, “The Man Who Sold the Moon”…
          They guy was pretty prolific.

John Galt is another example of the “competent man” libertarian archetype.

“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.”
          -Heinlein.

          1. In Stranger in a strange Land, the protagonist, Valentine, came to understand humans when he witnessed a big monkey hitting a smaller monkey and taking its banana…if memory serves. I read it about 50 years ago.

          2. Always loved ” The Man Who Sold the Moon ” .
I think there was an accompanying book also with that , dealt with the lead up in tech to get to the moon , like rolling sidewalks and stuff.
            Can’t remember the title.

    2. I like this Heinlein quote:

“Dad says that anyone who can’t use a slide rule is a cultural illiterate and should not be allowed to vote. Mine is a beauty–a K&E 20-inch Log-log Duplex Decitrig.”

Then again, John Wayne once said this:

“The reason there are so many stupid people is because it’s illegal to kill them.”

      1. “ The trouble with our Liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.”

        Ronald Reagan

      2. I prefer my HP-15C.
I got a free calculator app for my tablet, does complex numbers, symbolic and numerical differentiation and integration, can solve equations, and can handle numbers as big as 10^2500, makes graphs(only in 2d, mind you), etc, also does binary, octal, hexadecimal, logic, etc, plus its very intuitive to use. I think its called “hipercalc” or something.
I still prefer my HP-15C, though, I could never afford the HP-41CX at the time.

        1. I have a DM42, from SwissMicros – an HP-42 clone that looks and feels like the original thing, but with a better screen and much faster. I could never afford the original HP calculators either.

Pity RPN has fallen out of favor with mainstream education, it is so much easier/faster etc. But it does require an IQ above room temperature (°F) to use one.

          1. It didn’t take me long to figure out RPN and it felt perfectly natural to use it. Conventional calculators are rather awkward for me.

          2. I like RPN, too, for numerical stuff. Way less keystrokes, and with 4 registers, you can do a lot with it once you get used to it.
SwissMicros is a pretty neat outfit.
My 1st programmable calculator was the Ti-58C, back in ’82, IIRC.

          3. BADR:
“It didn’t take me long to figure out RPN and it felt perfectly natural to use it. Conventional calculators are rather awkward for me.”
Somehow, this doesn’t surprise me. Verbs at the end of a sentence, and all.
            Yoda was German, no doubt.

          4. Wait a minute HP-42 clone? I’ve got an app on my phone that scratches the itch… but boy howdy. I’ll be looking for that. Same form factor?

          5. Trying to answer several at once …
            Here is the DM42: https://www.swissmicros.com/product/dm42
So, yes, same form factor (maybe a bit thinner).
The software is based upon the Free42 code, so if you use that, this is identical … well, +/- a few additions.
The best addition is that the display shows all 4 stack registers (by default).

        2. I put my last slide rule up on blocks, so to speak, after writing an electrical engineering mid-term exam. It was succeeded by an HP-45 because it could convert between rectangular and polar co-ordinates, which is necessary for analyzing AC circuits.

I still use that slide rule once in a while, partly because I don’t want to become mentally lazy. When I wrote my Advanced amateur radio exam, I wasn’t allowed to used a calculator that had memories, so I used my slide rule instead. I passed.

          1. I remember a grade 13 functions and relations exam, where they wanted me to factor a quintic equation, but we were allowed to use calculators.
I just set my HP to find one root, while it chugged away on that, I worked on other problems on the exam, and then just did polynomial division to get the rest once it was finished.

        3. Sharp PC1401 for me…

          Still have it from 1986.
          BASIC (could write Mathematical programs).
          Great Calculator

          Still works too..!

      3. I bought a new slide rule for my first year college science classes (physics) … the next year … an unknown Co. named Texas Instruments made life a LOT easier.

        1. Wow. What a nerd thread!
Don’t know what a slide rule is for,
But I do know that freedom is knocking at the door.
          Measure that.

          1. Hey, don’t underestimate the power of slide rules. They were used to design the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo spacecraft, as well as the early American boosters. If I’m not mistaken, crews took some with them in case their flight computers malfunctioned.

Slide rules helped put men on the moon!

        2. I’ve still got my 12″ and pocket Picketts, with leather holsters. I almost bought a Teledyne circular when the local shop was blowing out the last of the slide rule stock, but I didn’t, and rather regret it.

  4. “…need to be “re-examined” in the coming weeks…”
    LOL.
Maybe in the coming 2 weeks, to…flatten the curve?
Sorry toots, end all restrictions, right fucking now, or retire, along with the rest of the criminals in Parliament.

    1. Same with Scott Moe. Didn’t he make a promise a week or so ago? What is he waiting for? Approval from Meile? Or is his wife nagging him? Or does it take a week to write an order? Is he still trying to convince Shehab to get with the program?

He wrote a real nice letter last week. He better back it up, and the sooner the better.

      1. Nini….

They await ORDERS Ja.?? from zee BlackFace Bunker…wherever that may be.
I have said it before and it needs to be said again: For 2 years, every f’king Politician in this country MAYOR on up has been 100% in LOCKSTEP with Blackie – all bought n paid for by ChiComm/WEF/Gates/Pharma money.

They don’t dare step outa line till that miserable POS french twat tells em so.

  5. In MB the message of public health morons is also changing to just recommending shots for those at risk in 12-17 age group.

  6. She’s still pushing the boosters, so I think we still have much further to push, but at least we have her facing in the right direction, and it only took 2 years to flatten that curve. I guess that’s lightning-quick in government bureaucracies.

  7. I’d like some help/comments with a letter I’m sending to our Governor General (info@gg.ca):

Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary May Simon,

I join many other Canadians in asking you to return constitutional rule to Canada.

In the last two years the government has defied the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, ignored parliamentary tradition and continued without a mandate from the citizens of Canada. Currently the government is leaderless and completely ignoring the pleas of its citizens on their very doorstep. In fact, the leader has gone out of his way to mock and denigrate your loyal subjects.

I appeal to you to ask the Leader of the Opposition to draft a plan of governance that addresses these concerns. If the plan you receive is satisfactory, please replace the current government with that of the Opposition Party to restore order, peace and goodwill in Canada. In elections I vote for neither of these two parties, but the current situation transcends partisan politics and I believe this is the best course of action to ensure freedom and unity in this great country.

    Respectfully and with thanks,
    Walter…..

    1. Walter, brilliant and succinct!

      Two minor suggestions:
      – Change “mock” to “defame”
      – Change “In elections I vote…” to “In elections, I vote …”

          1. I’m not sure if it should be C if it’s an adjective. I’ll gladly defer to a judgment by the style police this time around.
            BTW Thanks for reading!

          2. Walter,
            Excellent.
            One suggestion…
Instead of “I believe this is the best course of action”….
Perhaps this: “I, and many others, believe this is the necessary course of action”
Oh, and constitutional should be lower case as you note. That is acting as an adjective for rule in the general sense.

          3. Or,
“Given the political and social instability that is currently threatening the very livelihood of many Canadians, it is clear that the best course of action is…”

    2. Good job, Walter.
      I would amend it thus:

I join many other Canadians in asking you to return Parliamentary rule to Canada.

In the last two years the government has repeatedly violated the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, ignored the Oakes test for compliance with the Charter, as per the Supreme Court of Canada, ignored Parliamentary rule and done all of this without a mandate from the citizens of Canada. The moment the current protest materialized, the current leader thought it best to absent himself from his sworn post in Parliament, and instead communicated only through social media and small video sound bites, thus avoiding any Parliamentary oversight. In addition to this blatant negligence of his Parliamentary duties, he has gone out of his way to defame, libel and denigrate your loyal subjects.
In short, it has been amply demonstrated that there is no doubt whatsoever that he is not fit to occupy a leadership position in Her Majesty’s Parliament.

I appeal to you to ask the Leader of the Opposition to draft a plan of governance that addresses these concerns. If the plan you receive is satisfactory, please replace the current government with that of the Opposition Party to restore order, peace and goodwill in Canada. The current situation transcends partisan politics and I believe this is the best course of action to ensure freedom and unity in this great country

    3. I would change ‘denigrate your loyal subjects’ to ‘denigrate Her Majesty’s loyal subjects’ The GG is the Queen’s representative in Canada not the Queen herself.

    1. The earth is not only cooling, the earth is cooling faster than they thought. Do any of the models include that? God

The Finns, Russians and Germans were right, we’re going into global cooling. your idiot minority Prime Minister is going to freeze you and Starve you with those stupid ideas.

      Pay attention to Germany.

    2. “Hurry, just come up with something…..ANYTHING…..that can hold the story afloat for another ten years or so…we can always revise it then……..BTW, did I show you pics of the new beachfront property I bought?”

    3. Computer models are only as accurate as:
      The accuracy of the data
The knowledge and skill of the programmer
      The honesty of the user

          1. Gospel Out,John.
In these days of Policy Based evidence manufacturing, computer model outputs are worshipped as Gods.
            Regardless of the input parameters.
Sometimes I feel so old,so old I can remember evidence based policy making.
Along with the rules..All evidence must be archived in policy document…

    4. No mention in that article about winds. Aren’t winds necessary for renewable power and aren’t winds blowing way less in Europe?

  8. No compromise. All or nothing. No half baked “a little restriction here…not so much there”.
Of course this is the trucker’s show…they’ll determine what’s good for them and rightfully so.

    1. The truckers are so hideously over-regulated to start with. They should throw in a few demands for themselves, to boot.

    1. Kenji, I was in SF in late December. All oppressive mandates were very much in place there. Do you know if what you wrote about might also extend to San Francisco County?

      1. It appears as though Mar. 1 is San Fransicko’s “magic” date for removing mandates. However … if you want to see a Warriors game … you need to “prove” you’ve received a Booster jab.

        https://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2022/02/03/covid-proof-of-booster-shots-requirement-now-in-effect-at-san-franciscos-chase-center/

The GS Warriors are wokest of the woke Pro Sports Team. Which is why I simply don’t care and never watch the Warriors on TV … ever. No more.

All I care about is dropping the Gawd damned mask mandate. Gawwwd the masks are so STUPID and USELESS.

  9. “Waycist, Waycist, Waycist…”

No wonder I have Paul Simon’s “One Trick Pony” constantly running through my head…

  10. I can’t believe sanity from the mayor.

That’s how you possibly go out on a high, statesman-like for a small thing, talk to them.

It wasn’t hard and a lot of good will.

  11. More than anything I want the compliance diaper mandates to be removed. They’re the dumbest, most anti-science thing of this whole pandemic aside from the “social distancing” crap.

    1. If this thing is so dangerous we need to be locked down for two years those masks should be treated as biohazardous waste and they’re not.

      They just filled up landfills.

      1. Landfills? No, the used face diapers are all over the countryside. The neighbourhood is littered like how a downtown playground is littered with used condoms and needles.

      1. Yup, being doing that for a while now in Regina.
Various stores, almost no-one says anything almost….

but those that do, well – 50-60 yr old white karens – all of them

  12. Not good enough Tam! We want total transparency of how this debacle got this far. Show your actual homework. Who were your advisors and who funds them? You will rescind and help facilitate eliminating all mandates and emergency orders across Canada, every single one. Then just resign in utter disgrace before the trials start and take that cowardly piece of garbage Trudeau with you and the whole caucus, what the hell. No bargaining, no reaching across the aisle. Governments have shown they cannot be trusted with emergency orders. Begone!!

    1. The Aga Khan’s island might be heavily populated with Liberals and Medical Officers before too long. I don’t know if they have an extradition treaty with Canada or not.

    2. Agreed.
I’m not in a forgiving mood over this.

These people cannot be allowed to absolve themselves of responsibility for the damage they inflicted on society. Full accountability for all decision makers. Electronic and paper trails need to be laid bare and examined before the public. The Charter and constitution have been shredded, the social contract and countless lives broken. Unfortunately, even the opposition went along with it all so there’s no party that has the moral authority to ensure a “Truth and Accountability” commission takes place.

  13. A mediator is needed.

A politician says a mediator is needed because the politicians can’t do it themselves.

And the whatever accountability that can be mustered is laid at the feet of the mediator.

    What a sitzpinkler.

  14. You need a mediator to talk to your elected reps? See, there’s part of your problem righ here.

    1. Well that’s a great campaign issue when they’re asking for your vote. While you were in Ottawa you had a chance to meet with your constituents. Why didn’t you take it? why didn’t you show leadership?

    2. It’s about the blame game.

So, if an agreement somehow is reached, the sleazebag politicians can say, “The Mediator said, recommended, etc, etc”

So they can pin anything on anyone but themselves. Same with seeking court injunctions for laws already on the books, that legally aren’t necessary.

It’s scumbag politicians being their lizard like selves. Pass the buck. Scapegoating.

    3. He needs a mediator because he does not want the blame to land o him. He wants to say “I didn’t do it”.
Potato already dumped it on city and province.
Now the Oyttawa Komandant wants a mediator.
At the end it will all land on Chump Douggie and he will be left holding on to nothing, but the dick he hasn’t seen in years.

  15. Tam needs to be delivered to a Chinese restaurant and put on the menu as ‘catch of the day’. That’s one ugly fish head.

        1. Agreed.
I’ve got about 6-8 months of canned and dry goods.
If TSHTF for long enough around here, I’ll be eating venison, or long pig.

    1. Poor snivel servants. Can’t sleep during the day at their work terminals. Maybe they should stop sitting up all night watching infomercials.

  16. I suspect the only way the mandates will end is court rulings, millions take to the streets demanding hearings on why the government ceded our legal rights to big pharma and big businesses.

  17. This is just crazy talk!
    “Open a dialogue…”?
    “Have a conversation..”?
    “Talk to protesters…”?

  18. Why is a “mediator” required?! Our elected officials were already elected to do that on our behalf with the government! Now do your goddamned jobs!!!!

    1. Why would they do that? There’s a reason every damn politician in this country is terrified of the freedom convoy, even the so-called conservative squishes (I’m looking at you Fat Dougie, and you, Candy O’Bergen). They all feel guilty for what they’ve done in the last two years, who they’ve sold out to, and all the harm caused because of their insane policies. The last thing they can stomach is facing honest Canadians who want action and want answers.

Cowards. Plain and simple. Hence the jackbooted fascist police actions.

      1. Exactly.
After they have tortured the children and old folks and ruined the economy how do they admit that they were nuts to have done that?

  19. “An angry crowd is dictating Covid policy”. He’s got it wrong. An angry crowd has been dictating Covid policy for two years now, but it’s not the truckers.

  20. There is going to be wholesale change in politics. We may have already seen the last of the Bong. Is he ever going to emerge from hiding or will the libranos be forced to offer up another another excuse for his absence?

People like Tam, Moore in Ontario and Henshaw in Alberta will be vulnerable if their political masters have to find a scapegoat.

The CPC is has already deep sixed the leader. The LPC is pretty much in the same position.

    Where’s Bongo?

    1. The Trudeau variant is apparently much more severe than the Omicron variant.
One of its comorbitities is narcissism so it hit him really hard.

  21. The experts are finally following the science. Good. Unfortunately, it’s too little far too late.

What is this mediator that Jimbo is talking about supposed to mediate? There has been a revolution. All we ask of Justin and Chrystia is to get out of the way of the truckers. All we can offer in exchange is a fair trial.

If Jimbo can persuade his fellow pervert to turn himself in, by all means let him try on his own.

    1. CTV is even more disgusting than CBC these days.
The idiots on CTV are all trying to reach new levels of stupidity in their fluffing of Trudeau in the hope that it will be noticed and CBC will hire them.

    2. Replied to em…
And told them in no uncertain terms, THEY Are the EVIL in this country, and far far more dangerous than some puffed up Flu bug. I reminded those rat bastards what happened to their German brethern of the 1930’s-1940’s.

A Urinalist fate I would have ZERO issue seeing repeated.

    1. I saw this yesterday. I don’t think it’s fake news but it’s now old news. The City of Ottawa / Federal Government has now committed to a mediation. There’s no way they are going to go this jackboot route this week any longer.

  22. The latest from Ottawa: a judge has issued an injunction for the truckers to stop honking their horns. The police will be sure to use the court injunction to fine or arrest truckers. But what happens if the police don’t enforce a court injunction? That only happens when the protestors are aboriginals and then a judge can scream at the top of his lungs, but the cops will still ignore the judge (trigger warning; link to a CBC article):

” ‘No person in Canada stands above or outside of the law,’ Ontario judge says.

An Ontario judge who has issued two injunctions to end blockades of critical rail arteries is slamming police for not ending the aboriginal protests, saying their inaction leads to “dangerous waters.”

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/judge-slams-police-for-inaction-on-aboriginal-blockades-1.1395979

    1. How many can your jails hold?

We released a lot if people because of Covid.

How many ankle monitors does Canada have?

  23. If the Ottawa mayor wasn’t so busy taking it in the rear he would have been downtown days ago mediating himself.
    Typical Librano monkey throwing shit.

  24. This is an interesting bit of background. Apparently Justin cannot send in the Canadian military even if he wants to. The request for military intervention would have to be sent from the mayor of Ottawa to the premier of Ontario (Doug Ford). If Doug agreed, he would instruct the Solicitor General of Ontario to send the request to the Chief of Defence Staff. No federal politicians are supposed to be part of the process:
“Thus, in order to procure military aid to handle the protests in Ottawa, a requisition from the solicitor general of Ontario would be sent directly to the chief of the defence staff, not to the federal government or any of its ministers, and the chief of the defence staff would be “required” to designate forces “to be called out on service in aid of the civil power.”

    https://nationalpost.com/opinion/greg-taylor-despite-what-trudeau-says-sending-the-army-into-ottawa-is-not-his-decision-to-make

  25. Everyone in the country should start honking their horns at a designated time. We had the stupid pots and pans banging for the healthcare workers at the beginning of the plandemic, so how about the horns for the truckers!
    Failing that, unleash the vuvuzelas!

    1. Its a bit premature for the dreaded vuvuzelas, dontcha think?
Those things make the wee .30-30 look like popguns!

  26. A great article by Randall Denley has just been posted to the National Post website. Denley is one of the only voices in the mainstream media criticizing all levels of government, particularly the Dear Leader, for ignoring the reasonable demands of the Freedom Convoy:

“Instead of effective action, though, all that is being offered are more inflammatory words. Trudeau has done nothing but pour scorn on the demonstrators and Watson piled on Monday, referring to hooliganism, psychological warfare, malicious intent and people “looking for a fight.”

“There are definitely some reprehensible people taking part in the truckers’ protest and the group has worn out its welcome. That doesn’t mean that the whole group should be treated like the Mongol Horde. A recent Angus Reid Institute poll says 54 per cent of Canadians want pandemic restrictions to end now and provincial governments are moving in that direction.

Trudeau should come out of hiding and tell the truckers they are just slightly premature in their demands. That would be leadership. Instead, everyone is working together to do nothing. That’s business as usual in Ottawa, but these are not usual times.”

    https://nationalpost.com/opinion/randall-denley-ottawa-police-the-mayor-and-justin-trudeau-to-blame-for-convoy-occupation

    1. The truckers are responsible for that 54% number. This movement is what awakened Canadians and instead of embracing it the Prime Minister has called 54% of Canada a bunch of deplorables. The crazy thing is he only needs a fraction of the 46% who want restrictions to never end.

    2. We are 2 years into this thing with no discernable benefit from government policies. Nothing premature about demanding an end. Forcing people to take an experimental vaccine is tyranny. Does not belong in Canada. Needs to end now.

  27. The Left: The Great Reset.
    The Right: The Great Honkening.
    Which sounds like more fun?
    I’ve made my choice.

  28. The Aga Khan’s island might be heavily populated with Liberals and Medical Officers before too long. I don’t know if they have an extradition treaty with Canada or not.

    1. In the event of a nuclear confrontation, all initial enemy and friendly fire should be concentrated there, for purposes of calibration.
      NWB.

  29. This is not just about the truckers. At least 1/2 The population supports getting rid of the mandates. Feds should convene a roundtable to include provincial representation, truckers, and businesses to develop a strategy to end mandates. The vaccine mandates, vax passports and isolating unvaxed are doing nothing to end the pandemic.

    1. ” . . . develop a strategy to end mandates.”

Say, “From where the sun now stands, there will be no more mandates, forever.”

There is no “strategy” needed. There are no plans to be made, no equipment to move or install, no accounting to adjust, no nothin’.

Just end them. Just like they just began them. “Planning” to end the mandates is nothing but a strategy to not end them.

Bonus point to the first person who identifies the quote I commandeered for my own purposes.

  30. Given the court injunction against use of air horns, may I suggest that all truckers and supporters in Ottawa download one of the fine apps that play recordings of various horns and sirens (my preference is “Horn and Siren Sounds”, but YMMV), and play their favourite air horn sound when strolling the chilly Ottawa streets, or when they come across a “journalist” from the old school media, or even one of the heroic citizens streaming events in Ottawa live every day.
While this won’t have the same volume as a real live air horn, if enough people take part, the message will get through.
    We will not be silenced!

    1. Cowbells. It always needs more cowbells.

To the person who wanted to know what to say to the relative, I guess the best thing to say is I just don’t see it your way. I see it more this way (the video I was thinking of is by truckistani sunqueen dated Feb 3 on Twitter.)

You can point out that she gets her information from the group that gets a billion and a 1/2 taxpayer dollars a year directly from the government to sustain them and they won’t bite the hand that feeds them —who probably barely missed a paycheck in 2 years compliments of the Canadian taxpayer (the laptop class) and I’m getting my information from people who are actually there. If you’re interested, I can send you some links.

If she’s not interested, then you know where you stand. Good luck!

  31. Hey, I’ll mediate from here. End the mask and passport regimes tomorrow, and I’ll bet the convoys go home.

Or if you want to compromise, make it Friday.

  32. The fact is, its the disease’s job to tell us how much to panic, not the governments. The gov’t has sown panic far above what this disease merited.

    1. Experienced virologists/epidemiologists can tell you pretty accurately how many lives will be claimed once the first wave starts trending down. The danger of Covid was always way overblown.

  33. Parliament is holding an emergency meeting. Trudeau is throwing more gas on the fire. If you don’t want the jab you aren’t Canadian as Canadians believe in science…..

    1. I guess Britain doesn’t.

How did the guy who got the jab get exposed to Covid since he was surrounded by people who also got the jab?

I see your science officer isn’t keeping him up-to-date.

White House casts COVID-19 lockdowns as a Trump-era relic
by Haisten Willis, Staff Reporter | February 04, 2022 02:26 PM

LOCKDOWN SCIENCE: No Benefit, Many Costs. After reviewing thousands of studies, researchers at Johns Hopkins conclude that lockdowns had “little to no effect on Covid-19 mortality.”

Israeli study offers strongest proof yet of vitamin D’s power to fight COVID
Bolstering previous research, scientists publish ‘remarkable’ data showing strong link between vitamin deficiency, prevalent in Israel, and death or serious illness among patients

      By NATHAN JEFFAY

they have known this for a very long time but there were no public service announcements that people should up their vitamin D levels.

The CDC admitted people dying with Covid had an average of four comorbidities. One of those is diabetes. Why were there no public service announcements for people to lose weight and get healthy?

Don’t forget MR Science Fauci worked tirelessly to bury The Great Barrington report.

  34. Trudeau has reached Hitler in the final days of the 3rd Reich level psychosis. Time for his own people to remove him and enter a negotiated solution à la WW2 allies i.e. unconditional surrender. It’s May 5th, 1945, liberals. The war is over. You lost.

  35. So finally Justin showed his idiotic face. Lovely.

I don’t know what these clowns hope to accomplish with their fine speeches. Any of them.

The members of the House of Commons no longer have the confidence of the Canadian people. If Candice Bergen is serious about de-escalation, forget cross-party talks. Adjourn the House sine die and leave the Canadian people to decide what best to replace them with.

  36. Given the fact that these politicians all concede they are overwhelmed and helpless..
    Why do they not resign?
When they announced that they could not cope with their Covid-19 terror, they should have stepped down, knowing themselves inadequate for the task..
    Instead?
They declared themselves above the law…
And all the rest of us beneath it.

Now I am beginning to wonder..
What crimes have our parasitic overload committed these last two years?
    What have they done?
That was so odious, what act so treasonous?.. that they are terrified of tendering their resignations, because they will lose control of the investigations?
The way these leeches are clinging to power, indicates that we can permit none to do so.

Can you imagine any “investigation” carried out by the criminals who have ravaged society these last two years?
“A blinder well played” comes to mind.
