    1. I read this on the 19th. I’m not sure what I should do now. Perhaps wait around another 29 days?

  1. Edmonton just loves its progressives. It looks like we’ll have a Nenshi clone as mayor and my ward alderman will be a Dipper soyboy endorsed by Sarah Hoffmann.

I’ve grown to hate this place.

      1. And fluoride in the water again.

Fluoride is the first instance I can think of where governments forced medication on the general population. It was the Trojan Horse 60 years or more before the Covid shot.

Whatever your position on fluoride, what’s the harm with letting people put two cents worth of colgate on their toothbrush? Why dump tons of the stuff into the water supply so everyone has to drink it, cook with it, bathe in it, etc. If it’s being used as a form of medical treatment, what’s the proper individual daily dose, and how is that controlled for every single individual?

Not only is the government’s “solution” expensive, and overkill, shouldn’t people be allowed to take their own oral hygiene decisions? I did not delegate a city council to make those decision on my behalf. Aren’t parents supposed to be responsible for their children’s welfare?

        1. Thought things couldn’t get any worse, I was WRONG.

This city is full of people who can’t figure out which toothpastes contain flouride, or that ingesting flouride when you brush your teeth is NOT recommended.

If it is great for all of us to drink, then it must be really EXCELLENT for our vegetables, trees and lawns too!
Do the majority of voters have any functioning little grey cells?

          1. If it is great for all of us to drink, then it must be really EXCELLENT for our vegetables, trees and lawns too!

When was the last time you heard of a tree getting tooth decay? Evidently, fluoride works, right?

          2. Do the majority of voters have any functioning little grey cells?

Fluoride is a known neuro-toxin. Children who are regularly fluoridated are a few IQ points lower than children in non-fluoridated areas. So to answer your question, I’d guess that most voters were fluoridated as children.

60% of Calgarians are apparently acutely stupid, as most jurisdictions in North America are quietly moving away from the idea of water fluoridation. It was a very dangerous precedent in government medication. It was also bad medical practice. It will be seen decades from now, if society still exists, as an incredibly stupid idea.

        2. From an abstract of a study posted on the National Institutes of Health (dot gov):

“After the discovery of fluoride as a caries-preventing agent in the mid-twentieth century, fluoridation of community water has become a widespread intervention, sometimes hailed as a mainstay of modern public health.

However, this practice results in elevated fluoride intake and has become controversial for two reasons.

First, topical fluoride application in the oral cavity appears to be a more direct and appropriate means of preventing caries.

Second, systemic fluoride uptake is suspected of causing adverse effects, in particular neurotoxicity during early development. The latter is supported by experimental neurotoxicity findings and toxicokinetic evidence of fluoride passing into the brain.”

          mainstay of modern public health

God defend us from the government and all its minions, toiling ceaselessly to save us from ourselves in the interest of “modern public health”.

          1. Spent a lot of time arguing against fluoride decades ago, I lost. It will probably be the same with vaxxes as the terminally stupid are in control. I will be dead or arrested and idiots will still be shooting the government mandated poison into their bodies until it kills them.

      2. Here in Cowtown we elected Nenshi II.

I feared that soyboy would get in. I live in Rotten Rachel’s riding and I saw a lot of lawn signs supporting all manner of progressive issues.

Then again, the U of A is almost due north of me.

      3. That’s because Albertans on the whole are idiots.
For example Rachel Notley currently leads with over 41% support.
        Need I say more?

        1. What, precisely, has the Conservative Party conserved?
Doing nothing causes a party to lose support. Why the hell did we bother?

          1. Who said anything about the Conservative party? But that being said, there are better party’s in Alberta to vote for than the Conservatives, NDP , and the Liberals.

    1. After the municipal elections I have come to the sad realisation that the Alberta Separation movement is done. All the union backed commies were elected mayor and council. The vote to end equalisation barely passed. There are too many brain dead sheeple parasites to make it happen now. We will be enjoying Venezuelan times very soon.

    1. They are overdue for something and it ain’t cancer. Watched that disgusting travesty on the Rebel, at least Avi stood up to them.

  2. Hey don’t forget about Calgary’s elections.

Jyoti Gondek is the new (first woman) mayor.

    1. Yup, checks off all the prerequisites. And like Nenshi, she’s got the basket-weaving “academic qualifications”. PhD in “urban sociology”. Is that like Skinner’s experiment with rats trapped in a small box?

    2. (first woman) mayor

      Lotsa luck.

More than 30 years ago, Edmonton elected its first female mayor, at least in my memory. Jan “People are more important than potholes” Reimer proved to be a disaster. We’re still paying for her mistakes.

    3. She was the union backed candidate.
Would like to think it was due to Dominion Voting Machines being used. However, it is more likely due to brain dead sheeple parasites being allowed to vote.
Also noted that Elections Calgary ran a partisan campaign advertisement. It didn’t mention any candidate name but outlined a particular campaign platform. Corruption runs deep.

  3. I am putting this extensive list of problems that other governments and medical people have put together to help inform anybody who is involved in the man-made fiasco called COVID-19.

in particular for the wise asses at Alberta Healthcare Services who bad mouthed Ivermectin and the people associated with it. They should have done some research on it before they went off on their idiot rant.
Not only did they insult people who want to use IVER to take care of themselves and not clutter up the hospitals, but they also insulted all of the foreign govts and their health agencies and their good medical people who used IVER successfully because they had the best intentions to care for their patients.

    https://principia-scientific.com/update-how-many-people-are-the-vaccines-killing/

Personally, I have had super great care for any and all of my interactions with the Alberta health care system.
Most admittedly were not of the serious kind except for the time I bled out half of my blood and I was able to live another day.
Much to the dismay of some people.
    LOL

    Cheers

    1. rockyt, I read Principia Scientific daily. Excellent articles well researched and referenced, a real font of truth in science and medicine.

  4. The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms continues to be an advocate and voice against the extraordinary over-reach we have seen by government and their media allies throughout this past couple of weeks of flattening the curve now approaching 2 years.
At their web site scroll down to the videos available for viewing; plenty there to scare a person but one in particular called The Public Health Army is notable in showing how the world’s politicians and media all speak with 1 voice on this issue.

    1. Nold, thanks for the constructive post. I kick in $15 monthly to the JCCF, since it is an effective organization working against overly powerful government. SDAers who can afford to should consider donating too. Donations are tax deductible.

    1. Well B A, I can feel her pain. I know it first hand. Not that my ancestors owned slaves I don’t know for sure, but they probably did they where white after all. My father however did go to France in 1944 and made his way through Europe murdering helpless undocumented German migrants. I plan on going to his grave and spray painting Nazi Scum on his tombstone.

  5. Thought some of you might find this info interesting. Heard a guy on Calgary’s CHQR talking about natural immunity. There are some new stats available. Oct. 18, 5 pm, skip to the 8:50 mark. https://globalnews.ca/pages/on-demand-newstalk770-calgary/
Upon googling his name and company, I found this most recent article with all the particulars. But it’s worth it to Google him yourself, just to see how much the Government hasn’t been behind him: https://ca.movies.yahoo.com/ichor-blood-services-scales-alberta-123000386.html

  6. Did some of the online training in the Day Job that keeps coming up in our in boxes thanks to the well meaning people in the HR type departments.
The one I semi randomly selected was about Privacy and how much personal information we should be allowed to spread during our day to day work tasks.
    So… compare and contrast:

Company Privacy Policy that clearly indicates that a persons medical history is not for casual sharing vs Vax Mandates.

Seems to me that for my employer at least it would be completely against company policy to ask someone to prove they have had Fauci stuck in their arm or not.

  7. “Everything is fake. I don’t believe anything I’m told by the government, the media, medical “experts”, politicians, military leadership, bankers, corporate executives, religious leaders, financial professionals, and anyone selling themselves as an authority on any subject matter. We are truly living in times of mass deception, mass delusion, and mass willful ignorance.”

This is where we are today where it had gotten worse after 9/11.

  8. Please do not flame me for posting this, but there is a new broadcast news network — the News Forum — that has a moderate conservative tilt to it:
    https://broadcastdialogue.com/new-conservative-leaning-specialty-channel-the-news-forum-makes-its-debut/

I know, I know. It is not the in-your-face conservatism of the SDA-BCF-Ezra Levant brand. But it does bring in conservative spokespeople that are censored on the other broadcast channels. I watched a bit of the network yesterday, for about 15 minutes, and heard a Canadian Taxpayers Federation pereon talk about possible upcoming tax increases, and a Macdonald Laurier Institute researcher talk about China spying in Canada.

There are the usual problems with a new network starting up. First, the advertising is minimal — since big corporations prefer support anti-business media to pro-business media. Second, the production is threadbare, with oftennpoor sound and visuals. Third, the news and opinion tend to be boring (not sensational), and I’m not sure viewers will tune in. I watched a panel discussion on human trafficking, which had the host and three representives of anti-human-trafficking groups discussing the issue, and while discussions on this are needed (the media cartel censor information on this topic), the half-hour show was, well, boring.

SDAers interested in the network can read about it here:

    1. Will check it out. If I had time I would love to blog about how the media (including social media) is not your friend. The root of all evil today. Someone told me a story the other day about how dirty the CBC was, even in the 40’s. How they tried to find Saskatchewan residents upset about Americans being in the town, practicing bombing runs. Finding none, they faked a protest. In conjunction with a link someone had one here a couple weeks ago about the 4 or 5 investment groups that control EVERYTHING from soup to nuts, to the media.

    1. Amazes me how people can live with rats in and around their dwellings, the article states the rodents are getting bolder they see them in daylight. The reason for that is because there are so many of them.

      1. Shooting them all the time now. Even got a red dot for my pellet gun. Trapping as well. They are nasty beasts.

  9. 2050 Net Zero Britain?

    https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/britains-fossil-fuel-dilemma-spotlight-climate-talks-near-2021-10-19/

“With the capacity of its gas storage facilities now only enough to last the nation a few days, Britain’s reliance on just-in-time supplies shipped in from Qatar or elsewhere leave it exposed when the market tightens, like now with the surge in demand as economies recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.”

“Yet, Greenpeace and other activists say these arguments miss the point: using fossil fuels must stop rather than simply trying to make using them cleaner.”

The eco-tards say climate change is an existential threat to humans.
Others (me) say their plan to simply terminate fossil fuel use is homicidal/genocidal.
    Self-defence is universally accepted.
Who’s going to win the fight of the century?

  10. Hmm, so, these wind turbines have an expiration date as well.
This is Germany…and soon in Trudeauland as well.

Already on January 1, 2021 because of a German government mandated coal phase-out, 11 coal-fired power plants with a total capacity of 4.7 GW were shut down. It lasted only 8 days when several of the coal plants had to be reconnected to the grid due to a prolonged low-wind period. In 2022 the last German nuclear plant will shut and more coal plants will permanently close, all for the green nirvana. In 2002 German nuclear power was source for 31% of power, carbon-free electric power.

As for wind power making up the deficit in Germany, in 2022 some 6000 wind turbines with an installed capacity of 16 GW will be dismantled due to the expiration of feed-in subsidies for older turbines. The rate of new wind farm approvals is being blocked by growing citizen rebellion and legal challenges to the noise pollution and other factors. An avoidable catastrophe is in the making.

The response from the EU Commission in Brussels, rather than admit the glaring flaws in their Green Energy agenda, has been to double down on it as if the problem were natural gas and coal. EU Climate Czar Frans Timmermans absurdly declared, “Had we had the green deal five years earlier, we would not be in this position because then we would have less dependency on fossil fuels and natural gas.”

If the EU continues with that suicidal agenda, it will find itself in a deindustrialized wasteland in a few short years. The problem is not gas, coal or nuclear. It is the inefficient Green Energy from solar and wind that will never be able to offer stable, reliable power.

Trudeau will just have to double down as well in Canada to achieve his global adjectives to de-industrialize Canada and import from China.

  11. I sure hope parents hold back having their little 5 year old children covid vaxed. Not enough research, they’re doing some early mucking around with “safe” dosage.
Scary times for parents, “government approval” doesn’t make the decision any easier.

    1. Any parent that chooses to inject children with an untested, unproven, gene altering, concoction, should be taken out back and beaten with baseball bats untl they regain common sense or until it is no longer necessary. Those in authority who want to do so should be moved to the front of that line.

The above statement, crude in thought, tho it is, wouldn’t even be debateable in a sane world.

      1. Thankfully no one is going to inject their children with such a thing. We’re talking about the COVID 19 vaccine after all.

        1. You should stick to topics you actually know a little about. There is no “Covid vaccine”
It’s a never before tried gene altering spike protein. It does not protect, it does not prevent transmission, in short it does not vaccinate.
It’s so safe the government of Canada allocated seventy-five million for burial expenses. I can give you the name of the law firm dispensing the funds.
It isn’t as if the government hasn’t openly admitted that they are planning on anywhere from five to fifteen thousand deaths from your so called “safe vaccine” or do you think they are planning State funerals?

          1. “It does not protect, it does not prevent transmission, in short it does not vaccinate.”

Wrong on all counts. It induces an adaptive immune response that is protective ie a vaccine.

“It’s so safe the government of Canada allocated seventy-five million for burial expenses. I can give you the name of the law firm dispensing the funds.
It isn’t as if the government hasn’t openly admitted that they are planning on anywhere from five to fifteen thousand deaths from your so called “safe vaccine” or do you think they are planning State funerals?”

            Lies.

  12. While Climate Justin is looking for new ways to tax the peasants, Blacklock reports that retail prices in some provinces have risen 20-30%. And it appears Trudeau’s appointments to the independent caucus of the Senate are not so independent. They must follow the Liberal Party narrative.

    1. My take on what has tipped the apple cart over and is very different this time economically…
Over the decades, this just in time delivery system was over extended with government incentives economic growth in a product that is designed to fail but our politicians were all in and never will change that direction.
More and more of our industries closed and moved to less hostile government policies, restrictions and laws.

With this lockdowns, Unintended Consequences happening where 25% more demands on imports.

At the best of times, California is corruption to the core with having a port that has now 88 ships waiting to unload with even more government interference.
Certain companies have even paid premiums to have their products unloaded at the cost of even more calamity in the port.
Add into this fuels and energy shortages and you see, the outcome ain’t good.

“Add into this fuels and energy shortages and
you see, the outcome ain’t good.”

hence the saying… ‘nine meals from anarchy.’

  13. The results in Calgary are basically ending our last hope, our last right-metro. The political right has chosen to stupid itself for the past quarter century and the consequences are starker and uglier everyday. No one forced you people to become stupid but here we are. You have no one to blame but yourselves. I’m sure you’ll find a scapegoat like Soros or unproveable voter fraud in short order and further prove me right.

  14. Another record number of ships outside CA Ports … waiting … waiting … for enough CA diesel-approved big rigs to show up. Diesel rigs that will deliver cargo to the border of AZ/NV and turn around for another short ferry run.

    Buy local, Right?

Oops … our globalist masters “shipped” all manufacturing off to those Far East lands

    1. That recent earth tremor was caused by Ernest King and William Leahy rolling in their graves.

  16. Dougie Ford racist?
The media sure thinks so anytime they’re not opening the doors full on immigration.

    https://www.rt.com/news/537901-doug-ford-immigrants-dole/

Considering the rest of us have massive laws, restrictions and regulations that make anything we do illegal.
Give special status or immunity to regular rules and restrictions that bind us.

  17. From the CTV News Vancouver twitter account:
“Experts say the growing percentage of fully vaccinated ICU patients is because more and more of the general population is fully vaccinated.”

    1. OOrrrrrr, it could be the vaxx does not work at all, ever, not even for one minute. Experts!!!!!!

    2. That is exactly as predicted. As there are fewer unvaccinated to infect, and a small rate of the vaccinated do get infected, it is expected that this situation will occur. Mathematically and biologically inevitable.

    1. Pallister is already gone.
He is not even an MLA any more. We can blame his party and his bureaucrats. The two ladies running for his job appear to be “more of the same.”
