Watch BC, the NDP-NFG gov innoculation mandate is beginning to bite, shortages of nurses in the North, patient evacuations to Southern BC, threats by the Health Minister to impose progressive discipline up to dismissal. That should have the unions in a tizzy, and from what I have heard may even cause breakaway groups from the Nurses Union. The NDP-NFG is literally at war with their funders and voters.

  11. Does anyone know if it’s safe to let unmasked trades people do work in your home? I’m still confused as this pandemic continues.

    1. Since I’m still working on settling my father’s estate, I sometimes sell something that I’ve advertised. I find it rather irritating when people insist on wearing a mask when they come to the house to take care of business.

      Similarly, when some stops by to, say, check a meter, they’re similarly adorned. Even the vet clinic just to the north of town insists that I wear a face diaper when I go there.

      1. To add to the confusion we are being told immunity wanes in month or two after being double vaxed. Now it’s shoot ’em up booster and flu shots. Our immune systems are going to be running in high gear.

      1. That happened to me earlier this year when I sold the last of my mother’s sewing machines at my house in B. C.

        The grandma and grandkiddies who showed up came to the door all masked. When they saw me as I answered the doorbell, those masks promptly came off with a sigh of relief.

  17. Dorian Abbott lost the argument when he included “fairness” in the alternate structure. What is fair and by extension, fairness? It is very much something in the eye of the beholder, like the “reasonable limits” clause in the Canadian constitution and subject, depending on who has the power, to abuse. Merit has a definition as in “academic merit” where a test for practical skills is conducted on the applicants and some pass, some fail, and the results are available for scrutiny to all who have access.

    Just an opinion.

    1. I’ve always been suspicious of the testers. They seem to hire like-minded people. I don’t see a solution other than the very smartest tend to break through regardless of the obstacles put in front of them. So be very smart and break through or get in line and start kissing. Just MHO.

  32. Well did the albertaunityproject.org zoom meeting they were swamped, thousands tried to join to see Dr. Roger Hodkinson, Dr. Denis Modry and Lawyer Katherine Kowalchuk. And all 3 panelists took questions from the audience very professional.

    They had planned for 500 and apparently a couple of thousand tried to join and could not get on.
