[…] Maddow, who has consistently vied for the first or second top-rated cable news program, was sixth on Monday evening, down almost 500,000 total viewers from the previous Monday, as was MSNBC’s second top-rated program in primetime, The Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell.
OUCH: March 25th Cable News scoreboard.

Nothing speaks louder than ratings. For many in cable news, ratings is the ONLY thing that matters.
So far, at least, the verdict is clear. But I expect Maddow will find other snipes to hunt, and her ratings will recover.
Huh? Imagine that? Half a million viewers had grown tired of watching a mean-faced, clipped-hair, lesbian cry on TV again.
“Maddow asked. “I know, I know, I’m just getting crazy.”
No shit Sherlock. You’ve been bat crap crazy since day one.
Nothing speaks louder than ratings.
Indeed, because ratings determine advertising value. Everything on TV, internet platforms and terrestrial radio goes through the sales department. Ratings determine what an ad is worth. That’s why you get Ron Popiel at 3am or 6pm on Sun News…..
‘last word’
uhuh. there’s ANOTHER meaning to that phrase oh oh oh’donnell.
And yet CNN and MSNBC (DNCbc) are part of the cable package here in Canada and you have to pay extra for Fox. In fact didn’t CRTC (CBC) fight tooth and nail to prevent Fox from broadcasting in Canada? Now CBC advertises on Fox.
Mueller was seen coming out of Trump Tower the day after his findings were released. Spread that around.
He met with Putin the week before. The man is a Russian agent
It’s the cable company advertising CBC, not Fox. They allow time for the carriers to sell advertising.
Maddow’s not worried at all.
I hear she is closing in on another ground-breaking scoop with an even older Trump tax return….
The rumour/laugh now is the Trump haters are investigating that Donald removed his mattress tag, via a Maddow meme.
The judgment of the court of public opinion can be the most damning, plus the ruling class cannot control it. I await its verdict.
