    1. The result of Wynne’s “educational” curriculum, if you get my meaning.

      1. Actually nme I was wondering if he might be able to mow my lawn. I wonder if he is capable of that?

        Rhetorical question….

      2. No, no! Spread it quick so that Ontarians see the result of Horworth’s ideas.

This is Ontario after 4 years of Dippership, and your kid after provincial schooling.

  1. My f***ing oath! If any sane person needed a reason to NOT vote for Horwath, her kid is IT!

Too bad in these pc times the opposition can’t say what 90% of people will think when they see this duo,” if I vote for her all Ontario will look like that kid, aaaaahhhhh!”

  2. What else would he have to do but make mommy a playlist? I imagine it’s not like the ladies are beating down his door! Ms. Horwath must be really proud she has raised a future barista.

    1. Barista? I hope she doesn’t have guns lying around. Barista would be a good thing!

  3. Libertarian socialism at (non) work.

“So was PET a socialist or a libertarian?”

My answer: he was a “libertarian socialist,” and we Canadians all now live under his libertarian socialists regime. But how? How can this circle be squared? These things are opposites, aren’t they? Not really. It’s just the two labels are applied to different things. Think of what is individual, private, and physical: your body. Then think of what is public and general: a service like health care, or education, or a language right. Trudeau’s Charter combined and enabled these two conflicting styles by encouraging the separation of the private body, from the public body. He was a libertarian in that he believed matters of the private body are no one else’s business. But when it came to goods he felt we all deserve from the State? Why, then a powerful system for providing, equalizing, and controlling access to such goods must be set up, and this would be done through taxation and fiscal bribery of the provinces; that is, through shared-cost programs or grants financed by exorbitant levels of individual taxation and unconscionable borrowing. But what kind of socialism was it? What kind of libertarianism?”

Precis: PET was a Marxist, plain and simple. Put another way, as Peter Brimelow stated, Trudeau stated believed the state had no business in the bedrooms of the nation; just every other room in the house.

    1. You spelled libertine wrong. 🙂

I think he just like screwing around with whatever moved.

    2. Libertarians are not socialists, only the splitter wing of “confused libertarians” are socialist. Splitters!

Seriously if you are a Libertarian in political outlook, you believe in personal liverty. The state, at best, is a necessary evil – a branch of libertarianism that I belong too. There’s a reason why most Libertarians vote “right” in Western elections: the socialist alternative believe the state is the medium through which all problems can be resolved, and should therefore be all knowing and all powerful.

      Read Plato’s Republic.

  4. That idiot thinks this is normal? We and all those around us are f u k ed. There is nothing normal about these people. In a world that required survival of the fittest they would last less than one second.

  5. The eyes are the windows to the soul. That is one sad soul there. I feel sorry for the child.

  6. What’s her daughter look like?
If this pic helps her election chances….
By the look of the kid – he needs help.
    Jordan Peterson?

  7. How can any mother look so happy when her child is clearly dead inside?

I shudder to think what would be on the playlist.

  8. Before I read headline I thought she was posing with a drug addicted victim of child abuse.

  9. Oh great. Ontario may CHOOSE to go from the frying pan to the fire. Face palm.

  10. Suddenly I’m starting to reconsider my thinking about that annoying lesbian scrunt Wynne…

  11. The piercings and ink are about par for the course but have you noticed the weird permutations we’re seeing now with the the man buns.
Full throttle immigration has ended any chance for an entry level job for our Canadian born youth so what the hey; what’s the point of cleaning up too much?

  12. The NDP now lead the polls in Ontario.

    https://newsinteractives.cbc.ca/onvotes/poll-tracker/

Together, the NDP, Liberals and Green Party are getting over 60% of the vote in that increasingly self-destructive province.

Things will change only once the borrowing ends, and the decisions of voters come with a personal cost.

For now, it’s still free stuff and stupidity.

    1. But a 70% probability of the PC’s forming a majority, according to CBC. Thank heavens for the riding system. If the Libs want to introduce proportional representation, secession becomes the required course of action for rural and Western Canadians.

      1. Unfortunately the PCs also don’t have a remotely serious plan to bring fiscal sanity to Ontarioland.

        1. If Hudak taught the PC’s anything, it’s that you never give the media a chance to bury you by actually telling them the truth on fiscal policy. To tell the truth in Ontario is a death knell. Apparently the voters require obfuscation and bullshit to earn their vote.

      2. For a glimpse of the dysfunction that PR brings one only has to look at BC, where the Green Party paranoiac Andrew Weaver is scaring away tens of billions in foreign investment.

  13. I’m from Vancouver. That’s the first time I’ve seen that picture. I hope all Ontario media is showing it. Welcome Doug Ford your new Premier.

    1. How long will it be before she has to go to court to get her deadbeat spawn out of her home?

  14. I looked for the video that goes with the picture. I could not find it.

Here is a little more about her,

“She lives in Hamilton with her son Julian (born November 1992). In a March 2011 interview with the Toronto Star, she spoke publicly for the first time about the breakup of her longtime relationship with Julian’s father, Hamilton businessman Ben Leonetti.[3] Horwath had met Ben Leonetti in her university years, when she was working part-time as a waitress and he was a jazz musician. The two lived together for 25 years without getting married, and split up in 2010.”

So, the “Child” is 25 years old. I hope he finds structure and a normal life. Someone should send him Dr. Jordan Peterson’s videos.

  15. Meanwhile, Doug Ford has four beautiful, well-brought-up daughters. Rest assured neither they nor any woman of their calibre would be caught dead dating the likes of Julian Horwath.

The difference is they had a father in their lives.

I’m sure Julian is very good of pretending to be fond and proud of his mother. So was Marc Lépine.

  16. Poor kid – distraught at not being successful with his music career – because no one ever told him the skin flute was not part of the orchestra

  17. Judging by the banner under the photo, the media outlet was doing a fluff piece; all positive vibes and softball questions designed to bring out the “human” side of the Anointed One.
Granted, those early morning programs tend to do that.
But would they have treated Ford that way?
I think we all know the answer.

  18. I would expect, in Canada, that he will have very good high-paying job offers directly proportional to his mother’s political influence.

    1. Yes, I agree. A job like Frisbee instructor or perhaps substitute Drama teacher or maybe a Bouncer at a Gay bar.

  19. That young man looks like the sort of young man Dr. Peterson is talking about. Lost and doesn’t know who or what he is.

Sadly, there are millions of young men like that in North America and Europe. Shades of the 1930s.

    1. Except that in the 30’s men were still valued as men. This guy really does need advice from Jorden Peterson. I think losing his father at that age has taken a toll.

  20. I know some kids let their parents down but generally speaking to a large degree you can judge a person by how their kids turn out: how they dress, what they have done with their lives, their politeness and so forth.

I am making this hypothesis after 30+ years of observation.

  21. there’s a certain ‘raw’ thing that happens when one is
    – 6th born, lots of hand-me-downs
    – parents are staRICTLY working class. father is a functioning alcoholic.

Translation: ya want toys and deliberate body modifications, youse pays for dem.
which therefore never happened, financial equilibrium, opportunity cost, limited resources, all, ALL concepts embedded in the formative phase.

(crikey, I even got kicked out 2 weeks before my notice took effect for letting my true thoughts slip out regarding what *I* paid for the alcoholism and general heavy handedness, all part of ‘tough love’ without much love)

  22. To follow the memes of the Republic, those who want to DO GOOD n the world, to make the world a BETTER PLACE, always adopt the state as its mechanism.

Those who are Libertarians want to let good happen, the good eminates from indviduals and is stiffled by the state.

  23. Behold the next generation of Canadian MP’s … when all the schools will teach Anime Art … instead of math. Machines can do math … leaving Canadian children to invent new Anime heroines … so creative … in a copy and paste kind of “creativity” … to tattoo on their necks.

  24. Undoubtedly, if elected, mom will find a good job in a NDP government for her son.

  25. But either her adviser is an undercover lib, or someone is saying the kid would be an addition as “Oh look.. shes dealing with the same issues I am”. “She understands me..”

  26. More stuff on a life ruined by liberal parenting.

they didn’t even give him a sling probably because he was stoned off his gourd.
“It will be interesting to see what, if anything, the Ontario PCs propose before the June election when it comes to cannabis. But the Ontario NDP have been similarly critical and vague. But leader Andrea Horwath’s home city of Hamilton has a high density of dispensaries and in 2016 her son Julian Leonetti worked at a short-lived Toronto location of the Canada Bliss Herbal Society, a chain of medical cannabis dispensaries based in Vancouver. The shop, which was located in Toronto’s Junction neighbourhood, was raided and closed by police.

    Short lived delusion of grandeur.

Now he looks like what I associate with the new pot. He’s fried and probably beyond recovery.

  27. No mention of his chosen career path? So, as long as we’re discussing his looks…take me along when you slide on down…

So who cares how old fashioned he looks. If he were current for his age, he’d have a mustache and a thick square beard; along with a shorter man bun on the top of his head he’d have the rest below the bun shaved almost bald, like a 3 day stubble. He needs a makover already. The cheek holes and tats, if permanent, are a dumb idea that he will regret.

As for the clothes, he looks like a 12 year old trying to look 10.

The Boomer guys, and older ones are still the best looking. If you tune into the 1970 Martin Scorsese film, “Woodstock: Three Days of Peace & Music …. not one freaking tattoo on anyone. Ladies too.

People were way ” cooler ” then.

    1. Hey, Nancy…i hear you. I looked that way for ten minutes, then went out west, planted thousands of trees, got clear of eye and educated of life, grew up, learned to love my wife and my life, called gratitude and maturity. It works…ask Dr. Peterson…who basically says the same dang thing. Pay attention, and grow up.
That ndp spawn needs a slap upside the impaled cheek and made to slap on a 60 pound bag of trees to,plant on a steep slope. Then back to camp to eat some meat, and understand that life is more than gazing at your navel while mommy takes meds and all that shite….whew! Sorry.

      1. True all of It! No apologies! To be effective, one must strive to be considerate and try to not be indifferent.

Hard work is a game changer, you grow up pretty quickly, and learn to appreciate life and love.

Does that make sense? Hope not to sound too shallow. I do love a good gossip, like everyone. Juicy is good, malicious, not so much, unless it’s very funny! Witty is the best, the S.D.A. crowd take the prize. Agreed? Then we agree.

  28. Maybe one day he will wake and look in the mirror…what the H#ll did I do to myself. Take away the long hair in a bun. The dimple crap the tattoos will expand with age and he will wish them away. Otherwise he seem like a nice young chap with NO desire to do better in life for himself. Just like half the population that are attending University or schools at this time. Andrea will soon need to hire a lawyer to expel her son from her house.

  29. The button on the left is the volume, the one one right is the tuner.

    Replace batteries with alkaline cells.

  30. One time we got a buddy slightly inebriated, well let’s say fairly liquored up. Um ok so yes it was his stag, pie eyed out the wazoo, and most of us were not far behind. We somehow found ourselves going down some sidewalk with our man of the hour safely ensconced is a Safeway cart, when we noticed a bar door. The pile of scooters out front and a half peak inside by someone made it clear even to us this was a hard core biker bar.

Don’t ask me why, but we thought it would be a great idea to send cart and contents careening into the place, while we awaited the effects outside. As it was, all turned out fairly well, and the guys were cool about it all.

But just wondering how this precious special turnip would have fared in a scenario like that?

Fun and games, but this will not well for our post border face stapled full of sh*t race to the bottom Gramsci designed country.

  31. Gawd but that’s depressing. Ford is far too normal to compete against these politically correct wingnuts in the Liberal or NDP camps. Being normal is such a disadvantage in politics today. Not sure Canada can survive one more NDP government after BC and Alberta, but Ontario seems bound and determined to fight for that coveted 3rd world status at any cost.

  32. I’m guessing the son/alien, has more education than our fearless prime minister.
