There was a moratorium on the California death penalty in 1972. Not only did this pause cause Manson and his whole “family” to be resentenced to life in prison, Sirhan Sirhan, Bobby Kennedy’s assassin, was also resentenced.
During this moratorium in 1972, a total of 105 California death row inmates were resentenced and missed their executions.

I am not defending Manson, don’ t get me wrong, the man was a crazy psycho, but I am annoyed that after all this time people still don’t seem to know that Manson did not commit those murders, that it was 3 women yes – 3 FEMALES – 3 WOMEN – who commited those horrible murders.
