  5. Judging by the comments, Canadians only like quiet obedient and subservient Chinese Canadians. The level of outright hostility to her makes me wonder about the future of this country. Many of these commenters seem very content to bow down to their communist overlords.

    He mentions Trump must work fast to implement his ideas, this is where Prime Minister Steve missed and probably made his greatest mistake.

  9. The Chinese leadership must love Canada’s present administration when Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said publicly how he admires them, how they can turn their economy around on a dime. Thankfully we can still criticize our government, we are a democracy, that’s not the case in Commie dictatorships. Trudeau’s high praise of Castro was the ultimate embarrassment to those who fought and are still fighting for human rights and freedom from the clutches of dictators and tyrants.
    Perhaps Trudeau needs to be reminded of a quote by John Diefenbaker:”The reading of history proves that freedom always dies when criticism ends”.

  12. Where is that guy who replaced Kevin Page? Where is the media? Where is the CBC? Canadians have every right to know this. Surely it is as relevant as the proposed/pending cuts to the public service that Harper was once grilled about and condemned for. We pay for the CBC, but they can’t be bothered serving our needs. I’m disgusted.

  19. This could be true, but not in the way they suggest. In my view, the news media was overwhelmingly anti-Trump. Eventually people feel maniuplated by such one-sided coverage and vote against the media narrative being forced on them. The report suggest that Hillary got 62% negative coverage — but I did not see any negative coverage of Hillary (maybe the reporting on her collapsing at the 9/11.) In the end, people just were fed up with the media and chose not to listen.

    On one level it may be unfair to poke fun at Trudeau, but if the MSM is going to treat him with such kid gloves getting slings and arrows from the punditry is to be expected. At least it provides an outlet for political frustration and adds balance. The regular media is just disgusting in their willingness to protect Trudeau and his Liberals. Part of that may be that the incompetence and deceit were perfectly predictable but the MSM decided to back the boy anyway. Now they must cover for him and cover their own poor judgment. At this point, all’s fair. (WHY are they not demanding to know more about the cost of the carbon tax???)
