Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Network News has become “Entertainment” complete with dancing Clowns…. The News readers are mainly flunky Lawyers that know how to push the envelope….The Producers all have huge ambitions of Hollywood fame..What can go wrong?
Take the trash out, or they will be baked
Says CNN…..
In response to questions from the public, the chief of Detectives looked into the camera and stated:
“We’ve arrested, who we believe are those calling the shots in the Main Stream Media.
We’ve been interrogating them for three days, but they can’t seem to get their story straight.
It’s almost like they just make stuff up.”
Pot. meet kettle.
They’re eating their own LOL I’m enjoying the decline of the mainstream media empire
John Stewart-ed. Like rickrolling. Went to MSU (make stuf up).
So was this a one-off case or is this widely done? Do they teach it at journalism school?

no different than the street theatre where the kid runs up
and hugs hillary after the 9/11 memorial debacle.
the hildebeast had to co-opt her secret service protective
detail into participating in that little farce.
bread & circuses for the little people.

When will ABC news be available at Cineplex Odeon, or on blu-ray? Also, do film school credits count towards a journalism degree?
Where did they get the police caution tape?
Since when do news crews drive around with boxes of props and set decoration to add production value to their stories?
Why does the word pr*stitute come to to mind.
Perhaps presstitute was lingering on the tip of your…tongue
😉
F*ing lying real picture. Who are you going to believe? … the main stream media or an eyewitness with pics?
capcha – place museuum
Should we be surprised? It’s been said that, in war, truth is the first casualty. Also, don’t forget that it was common practice in the Soviet Union and its Warsaw Pact allied to doctor photos. Anyone who fell out of favour was brushed out of the official pictures and the accompanying story revised accordingly.
Remember, we’ve always been at war with Eurasia and the Eastasians have always been our friends.
But why photoshop … it’s to easy to detect. It’s much easier to use props.
Folks need to rise up and deal with the media after the election. Band together , write select advertisers who have their ads in the media. A rolling boycott is the best description.
It’s vital to select ONE network as a target to start with. Pick a couple of advertisers that EVERYONE could start with…focus on them and swamp the advertisers with notices that the purchasing will stop. Some simple email system could get this going and and help it grow. The key is focussed action I believe. It would be vital to follow through and refuse to buy those products; the manufacturers must feel the difference.
This is in the county next door to me. The worst part is the sheriff is in that shot and he is going along with this. Yeah this is a media problem, but a sheriff that will not call this out before the interview just to get his face on national news is a problem.
“This action is completely unacceptable and fails to meet the standards of ABC News,” Julie Townsend, the vice president of communications at ABC News, told CNNMoney.
I agree that it’s unacceptable, but I think that it meets the standards of ABC News, at least as I’ve experienced them for the past thirty years or so.
Where did they get the police caution tape?
Amazon.
Regarding a mainstream media boycott (which is a good start)…
I’m a retired advertising / marketing guy with major U.S. brands whose budgets bought lots of time on the U.S. networks. Please allow me to point out that a boycott of CNN will not work so pick another network. CNN gets a big chunk of it’s audience from their monopoly coverage on screens inside airports all over the U.S. and CNN International in airports overseas …even if NOBODY is watching at home CNN’s ‘numbers’ will still look good to advertisers due to their captive audience inside airports. Although we all hate the Clinton News Network their distribution through airports gets them big audience numbers which in turn gets them advertising money. Boycott one of the other networks whose viewers are at home, not in airports, so that a drop in viewers WILL lead to a drop in advertising.

Where did they get the police caution tape?
My question was rhetorical …
I was implying that the use of police caution tape by ABC News was
misleading and unethical.
Larry:
Not to mention likely illegal. Most jurisdictions have laws against impersonating police, or interfering with an investigation. I Would love to see them charged.
Why didn’t they have the pickup explode? Sorry, that was NBC.
