I see no difference between Flanagan’s plight and Levin, the Ontario Deputy Minister charged with child pornography. One is a socialist, the other a conservative. Perversion doesn’t recognize political boundaries. Being on the mailing list of the Man Boy Love Association, a group that seek to normalize, sexual relationships between boys and men. It attempts to set itself apart from pedophilia by claiming that it only endorses the “enjoyable, consensual [and] beautiful” love of a man for a boy and a boy for a man.
Harper et al were correct to disassociate themselves from this guy,as should everyone else irregardless from where these deviants fall in the political spectrum.
Gee, I thought Tom Flanagan was ‘buried and done with’ after his ‘internet hanging by the lynch mob’…
Must be Easter season, Tom Flanagan rises from the ‘internet grave’ a new man.
Kate seems to be doing a yeoman’s job on keeping free speech alive; despite the nattering nabobs of negativity best efforts to sink one and all, on bended knee, to sing paeans to political correctness.

I haven’t read Mr Flannigan’s book yet but I did read an interview with him and when he was asked how many of the friends and enemies who turned their backs on him after the media knife-job done to him he replied that the one and only apology he received was from Preston Manning. I don’t think that should be a surprise. Preston Manning is a classy guy and another individual the left media tried their best to destroy.
In any case, I’m glad to see Mr Flannigan front and centre where he belongs once again.
Let’s see if I’ve got this right.
Admission is 20 bucks.
But, deal. You can buy the book for 10 bucks.
Book retails for 29.95.
Crafty guy, that Flanagan 🙂
Just not very smart at PR…that freedom of association thing kicks in.
Regardless of his ostracization mr. Flanagan is a back-stabbing SOB with some serious ego issues that cause him to attack anyone who he associates with that succeeds more than he does.
That and he ran two campaigns from victory to defeat – CPC in ’04 and the Wildrose in 2012.
I think it very fair to say that a major driver for his being dumped over the side by almost all conservatives is because he had made so many enemies and pissed off so many others by his comments and attitude – it was a good excuse to jettison him.
What bugs me most is the fact that this Levin guy, can be seen sitting with Justin and this Kathleen woman watching the Gay Pride parade in, where? Toronto, but the media isn’t all over the guy. As for Flanagan, I still haven’t received a convincing explanation of what he meant. Surely anyone who pays for kiddie porn is advancing this sickness, and this must be so with even its condonation.
Frees speech is like virginity. You have it, or you lose it. No middle ground. Though some try with artificial surgery.
When you ban the ugly, than the real beauty to be found has no contrast.
How do you know the insano’s from the good guys, unless they speak!
People aren’t so stupid they don’t know crazy when they see it.
We don’t need government overseers, of our reading habits.
Better evil is exposed than buried. Than we know where it resides.
The child pron laws were a carefully crafted product of statists seeking a toehold on the internet. Knowing the general opinion of the majority of the population on pedofiles, this totalitarian legislation passed. I never got a reply to the letter I sent to Stockwell Day expressing my extreme displeasure for his support of a law which ended freedom on the internet.
One has to distinguish between a collection of bytes and the act of pedofilia itself. The latter is easily cured with a 12 guage shotgun held 6″ from the perpetrators goands and the only contraversy over this treatment is over the shot size that one uses. Rather than go with the most reasonable method of dealing with preverts, most world governments chose the totalitarian approach.
Of course, that first statist law has been used as precedent for more and more intrusions into online privacy. For now Tor works and I would suggest anyone interested in free speech on the internet run a Tor node to make the spooks jobs very difficult.
That’s the beauty of “free speech”. One can choose to disassociate with someone if they are offended by what they say.
Unless of course one is a Conservative PM. Then whatever one chooses is wrong regardless.
Fun watching CBC going through their death throes trying to take down Mr. Harper. The man who has been dancing rings around them for years a al Ali.
Tom Flanagan has never been afraid to buck a prevailing wind or point of view.
When cities were placing statues of Louis Riel and people who should have known better were contorting themselves into intellectual bereft pretzels to praise the man, Tom wrote a pretty good book on Loius Riel that was far from hagiological.
When Tom taught at the University of Calgary I had the good fortune to take a course he was teaching and enjoyed the clear and logical way he would present his arguments even if you didn’t aways agree with everything he said.
One has to distinguish between a collection of bytes and the act of pedofilia itself.
