Your Moral And Intellectual Superiors

Via Weekly Standard;

“It was a very busy day. We started here shortly after 8 o’clock with a coffee with press secretary Jay Carney inside his office in the West Wing,” says the reporter.
“And this was the off-the-record so we were able to ask him all about some of the preparation that he does on a regular basis for talking to the press in his daily press briefings. He showed us a very long list of items that he has to be well versed on every single day.
“And then he also mentioned that a lot of times, unless it’s something breaking, the questions that the reporters actually ask — the correspondents — they are provided to him in advance. So then he knows what he’s going to be answering and sometimes those correspondents and reporters also have those answers printed in front of them, because of course it helps when they’re producing their reports for later on. So that was very interesting.”

  1. It’s a lot easier to lie when the lying liars supply the questions to the chief liar. That way they can all get their lies straight. Writing them down also helps everyone keep their lies on the same page. This all helps lying because lying is hard when you have no soul and limited intellect.

  2. Wow. The reporters for Pravda behaved that way because they would be hauled off in the night by the NKVD/KGB if they didn’t follow Stalin’s script. The Capitol Hill journos have voluntarily become Obama’s lapdogs for fear of losing access to White House briefings.

  3. WTF do they slip into the pumpkin-spiced-double-double-half-cafs-with-a-twist to keep these automatons so freakin servile ?

  4. The fact that Harper simply told the Canadian press to p*ss off and made it stick is damned impressive!
It shows that the press is not nearly as important as they thought. It must really hurt to find that out.

  5. Yes, I thought it was really neat that the swearing in ceremony was private and there were no interviews afterwards. A few more days like this and folks may start to realize they don’t need so much press coverage.

  6. A sharp observation, Ken.
If anybody listens to Limbaugh from time to time, you may have observed that he plays soundbites of comments damning some independent journalist that did not agree with their favored socialist.
The “journalists” from possibly all broadcast (TV and radio) networks. The sycophancy of these propagandists is absolutely astounding. Alternatively, to the informed not so much.
Anyway, the sound bites repeat constantly the same words, in fact in many cases the same worse in the same order as though they were reading memo from the central ministry of truth.
Writing on blackberry playbook is no picnicking, it constantly thinks it’s smarter than you.

  7. You think with that kind of collaboration and preparation, it would be possible for the White House to avoid sounding so stupid on a regular basis.

  8. They don’t need to sound any smarter than that, they’ve already won and don’t care what they sound like now.

  9. the sad thing is that when 90 names were pried from juornolist (started by Klein, a Joo) about 70 of those names were Joo-ish. As to Goebbels, his boss, Hitler, had a Joo-ish grandfather. Much of our extreme leftwingism comes from that segment of society. Let one fall off narrative the Koch brothers, and they get pillared, just as ritewing blacks do. And then the other problem is that ritewing christians bury their heads in the sand on this file, see it in here a lot!!!!

  10. Sounds like the “press briefings” are basically just a play at this point. The only thing that will change that is a republican in the whitehouse. Then the IRS, the NSA, executive orders etc etc will be facist, racist, thugocracy from satan’s lair. Until then let’s all stare in awe at Michelle’s bicepts and how beautiful her huge ass is.

  11. Things are getting pretty bad when even the press needs a teleprompter!

Journalism is dead. Liberals killed it. – I like to place the blame where it really belongs. Journalism is dead. Journalists killed it.

  12. Journalism isn’t exactly dead, more like “undead”. They are the walking dead of the institutional left. They exhibit blind faith in the enlightened, they parrot all leftist narratives, devoid of all curiosity and skepticism of their own. Their writing is so formulaic that one could claim that they have been replaced with machines.
A republic of free born citizens would demand that their President answer questions directly rather than through a paid obfuscation technician. Why would any self-respecting Journalist even go to a press meeting with the Press Secretary? Answer: They wouldn’t.

  13. Thank God I no longer rely on these pukes for information. Whitehouse.gov has the same stuff.

  14. I just love this gals starting line, “And this was the off-the-record” , followed by, of course, her telling all that she heard and saw. Obvious Newbie, hasn’t yet sipped the Kool Aid. Must make the MSM White House Correspondents squirm in their socks to hear this. In fact, Ed Henry, of Fox News, was quick off the mark with an emphatic denial of this entire report. How does that go? “Methinks he does protest too much”.

  15. Wow, who’d a thunk it?
Imagine that, ‘bama’s press conferences have all the reality of a reality TV series.
    Shatterd, I am.
