Note how “directly” and “truthfully” are mutually exclusive for weasel politics.

  2. That bulb doesn’t seem very bright. I cringe at what he might say re: Israel/Palestine.
OTOH the military has always been in charge since at least the tenure of Nasser. The military responded to a popular uprising but unfortunately seems poised to crush the popular front of the MB because they insist on Wahhabi sharia law which Egyptian society at large rejects. As I’ve opined elsewhere, the AQ threat is wrapped up in this development.

  3. Nah Obamba’s still in charge, they just didn’t count on the first puppet the Egyptian military put in under US command getting punted so soon. Now they need another puppet.
How else is Egypts military going to justify keeping Obamba’s billion dollar military aid programs?

  4. It is now stated that it was not a coup, thus allowing the US to provide Egypt with F-16s and Abrams tanks. To defend them from what exactly?

  5. “We’re working very hard right now with Lady Catherine Ashton…..to try to see if we can resolve this peacefully.”

These meddlesome not elected morons and Islamist appeasers have no business at all in the clean up of the mess they created.

  6. Hey, don’t blame him if he didn’t hear… he was on the boat that weekend as I recall.
