  1. Robert – Good thing the Sens had a couple of linesmen who have no idea what icing is and isn’t.
    they should be FIRED!!!

  2. White people satirizing other white people makes not-white woman cry:

Tom Lindsey, superintendent of the Queen Creek Unified School District, said the only intent of Wednesday’s (Redneck Day) event was to satirize the A&E reality TV show “Duck Dynasty,” which follows a family of duck hunters and entrepreneurs from West Monroe, La.
But some students and their family members weren’t amused. Among them: the Rev. Ozetta Kirby, pastor of Holy Trinity Community AME Church in Mesa and vice president of the East Valley chapter of the NAACP.
“I’m sitting here crying and praying,” said Kirby…

  3. Teenager who has tended war memorial in his village for 12 years is accused by council of criminal damage after he installed a pipe to water the plants
For 12 years, Kurtis Green has diligently tended the war memorial in his village, cleaning up rubbish and planting bulbs at its base.
In January, the Queen congratulated the 19-year-old for his hard work revamping the memorial, near her Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
But officials at Dersingham Parish Council have taken a rather different view and reported him to the police for his unpaid work – which they have labelled criminal damage.
Mr Green, whose grandfather fought in the Second World War, was quizzed for two hours at a police station after he added a pipe to water the flowers without permission.

  4. I got as far as Canmore and had to stop for some sleep. In the morning the thrill had already worn off so I decided to head back. As I turned down the driveway I was relieved to see that in my haste to leave I had forgotten to torch the house.

  5. The Sun News has more on the ‘bj brochure’ scandal going on in Toronto.
The last video on the page is about 5 minutes with board trustee,Chris Bolton, and it is nauseating. The man talks in circles around the subject and says nothing, except that the Conservative who said someone should be fired is wrong. That is the only thing he said with any conviction. It would not surprise me at all if the teacher and this trustee were close friends, really close.

  6. Wallyj (11:26), if this piece of satire (language warning) was an actual news report about the TDSB I doubt that anybody would be even slightly surprised. At this point.

  7. Re: Tom Waits.
Great video. But please–don`t try that at home!!

  8. O’s Mohammedan Egypt.
““Fear is big business nowadays,” Hussein said. “People buy the guns because they’re afraid. People buy the guns because they want to scare others. We’re in a jungle now.””

“Egypt Investment Collapsing as Citizens Turn Into Vigilantes”
“In a dimly lit Cairo workshop, Hussein spins a metal pipe on a lathe, sending sparks flying. In a few minutes, it’ll become the barrel of a gun. Sometime after that it will join the growing arsenal of illegal weapons on the streets of Egypt.
Artisans who make machine parts by day are turning into bootleg gunmakers at night, says Hussein, 54, who asked not to be identified by his full name for fear of prosecution. He only sells to a middleman because “trust the wrong person and you’re going to jail.” He can make as much as 3,000 pounds ($435) per gun — about 20 percent of what a legally licensed one costs.
“Fear is big business nowadays,” Hussein said. “People buy the guns because they’re afraid. People buy the guns because they want to scare others. We’re in a jungle now.”
More than two years after the fall of President Hosni Mubarak, the proliferation of weapons and a spate of vigilante killings, violence and sexual attacks are eclipsing the hope born from the revolt. Fueled by political deadlock and economic stagnation, the security breakdown threatens to put solutions beyond the reach of President Mohamed Mursi.”

His audience was at Ryerson University. ‘Birds of a feather …”
Let me finish that phrase: Birds of a feather.. circle jerk together.

  11. Inquiring minds would like to know if liberal MP Carolyn Bennett is still persuing that private members bill to promote the use of environmentally friendly sex toys?
Also wonder if her current leader concurs.

  12. DEMOCRATS BEWARE:
    South Carolina Congressman Sanford
wins election 54-45 percent over democrat challenger.
This man told his wife, children and the voters he was going hiking along the Appalachian Trail,
but he really went to Argentina to spike his mistress.
Sanford saw his political career disintegrate four years ago when he disappeared for five days, telling his staff he was hiking the Appalachian Trail. He returned to admit he had been in Argentina with his mistress – a woman to whom he is now engaged. Sanford later paid a $70,000 ethics fine, the largest in state history, for using public money to fly for personal purposes. His wife, Jenny, divorced him.
Just a small example of Midterm elections that are cumming toward the demorats.

  13. Joseph: “Also wonder if her current leader concurs.” No one is consulting him. I am waiting for the news media to notice. Justin is being featured in video’s to keep his face out there, but being shunted around to keep him away from Parliament.

  14. The Conservative Party sent me a survey on my thoughts about their progress.
They also recommended sharing the survey. http://bit.ly/18tIw3c
My comments asked why the Conservatives don’t put more energy into educating Canadians about the difference between fighting pollution as opposed to supporting one world government wet dreams.
The billions being poured into this proven hoax would go a long way to helping our economy. I asked why they continued to give support and succour to the enemies of common sense.

“Europe’s solar-subsidy woes to land at WTO’s doorstep”
“The summer has barely started but already Germany is suffering from sunburn. Too much solar radiation amid a heat rash of solar panels, most of which were made in China and dumped, says Germany, at uneconomic prices in the EU. Chinese subsidies are harming EU makers of solar panels, complains the European Commission, and it could become the first big trade dispute to land in the lap of Roberto Azevedo, the Brazilian who has just been elected head of the World Trade Organisation.”

  16. Well… that’s the best compliment the Goracle could pay to Ezra!
Guess he has read the book…”ethiclal oil” is Ezra’s trademark phrase!

  17. We think alike plainsdrifter:
On my way in to work CBC radio wash hashing over the census, and my first thought was ‘Justine’and the Libbers gave them the heads up to spin an angle on this topic.
When I heard it on the ride home…I was convinced. Spin, and more spin.
‘Cuz Canadians are stressed in wonder at how that census worked out…

  18. The lefties are just doing their usual, egged on by the cbc and others.
If PM Harper had doubled the number of long census forms to be filled out and stressed that there would be penalties for non-compliance,these same people would be screaming about brownshirt and jackboots. It is what they do.

Mark Steyn’s article reprises a phrase oft seen here as a header: “they took all the rights and put ’em in a rights museum”.
