1. Now that’s how you use space efficiently.Too bad most are going the way of the dodo and the EU.

2. Those bridges are quite interesting.

3. Atop the houses on one side of the Ponte Vecchio, and clearly visible, runs a covered passageway connecting the Medici offices (the Uffizi, now a famous art gallery)
   with a Medici palace, so that the Medicis could move back and forth discretely between home and work.
