I watched CTV this last weekend for the first time since FoxNews has been available in Canada and…yes I know, they focused primarily on the rioting lefties and not much on the policy discussions. It seemed the reporters were not too sympathetic to the police.

After watching the TV reports on the G-20 riots, there are now one million and one less viewers.

What a moronic opening line. Surprisingly,(or not),all three networks that gushed to the gushing story,are now gushing out the bottom line.
Hmmm,coincidence or conspiracy,details at 11,watch NBC Nightly News, ABC World News or the CBS Evening News.
This trend has been in the making for years now, with a concomitant explosion in ratings at Fox News. They surely can connect the dots. That they continue to be willing mouthpieces for the DNC is a testament to their arrogance and certainty of their own righteousness.

I don’t watch CBC News at all – unless Rex Murphy is pointing in an appearance. Even then, I use PIP and MUTE until Rex comes on.
I watch CTV News more out of lurid fascination than anything else: will Lloyd slur his words tonight? What inanities will the copy writers come up with? Will the clueless Lisa LaFlamme be reporting? Or Bob “Two by Four” Fife (AKA “Barney” Fife)?
Probably too early to pop the champers for an MSM wake, after all they did an A-1 job pimping BO and covering for the slime in the Chicago machine.
Since Fox wasn’t covering the G20 riots I tuned into CTV. After a few minutes of leftist moralizing and Torontonian hand wringing I saw one of the CTV producers being taken away by police. About the time hostess asked what was on his wrists (zip ties) I went back to watching Fox.
The issue with Canadian CBC is far more serious than mere bias… I watched CBC on Sat during the riots.. The coverage was not manipulated and reporting was, IMHO, typical for coverage of an evolving Story.. In short it was real…
The next day (Sunday) evolved into heavy editing of camera shots, panning away from ppl changing clothes, every protester complaint was voiced without supporting background video or an identifiable authority. In other words CBC coverage was totally manipulated by the protesters…
The National News, last night, included CBC original video of the weapons seized by the police, that was heavily edited to delete the most egregious weapons (particularly the axe) looping shots of paint cans & bricks… They aired a clip of a protester slandering the police by claiming she was threatened with gang bang rape, no background of who she was or a confirming source .This was deliberate falsification of facts broadcast under the banner of Journalism

Let’s not be too optimistic about all these lefty networks, newspapers, etc. swirling down the toilet drain. Comrade Pres. Hussein Obama & Co. will surely try to do everything in their power-a bailout or otherwise shovel taxpayers’ money at them, to save their Min. of Propaganda.
The last time I watched a US network national newscast was during the war when Kuwait was occupied by Iraq (about 19 years ago). Did I miss anything worth watching since then?

can’t imagine why evening newscast viewing is down. maybe people are trying to get information elsewhere or maybe people are tired of being force fed bullshit, maybe we’re sick and tired and we’re not going to take it anymore?
