I used to say that nothing really surprises me and very little disappoints me…just people.
None-the-less I am truly appalled….
This is true dementia…
But yet enlightening….
The true face of the anti-semetic left.
Beware…one day they will come for you……….
“I’m still confused by the fact that it is historically well documented that the Jews have lived in Jerusalem/ Israel for thousands of years”
Palestinians arguably have more “Jewish” (ie people who lived in Jersusalem 2000 years ago) DNA than “Jews” , according to this latest study:
“Different communities of Jews around the world share more than just religious or cultural practices — they also have strong genetic commonalities, according to the largest genetic analysis of Jewish people to date.
But the study also found strong genetic ties to non-Jewish groups, with the closest genetic neighbours on the European side being Italians, and on the Middle Eastern side the Druze, Bedouin and Palestinians. ”
You’re going to have to come up with a new term for anti-semitism, because these people aren’t semites. Welcome to the year 2010 kiddies.

“Helen Thomas has a classic Jewish nose.
She has a kosher face.”
Err, isn’t that kind of anti-err-semitic? Or is it like the n word, and Israel Firsters get a “kibbutz pass” to say stuff like this? She’s Lebanese by the way, which is to say partly ethnically Jewish, which…
“Err, isn’t that kind of anti-err-semitic?”
Err, did you try my link?
No.
I guess the Jews who made the video are anti-semitic.
How do you think Helen Thomas would like it if I walked up to her and told her she had a very Jewish face after her comments above?
Do you think she’d like to be treated as a Jew the way she wants to treat Jews?
Posted by: Oz at June 5, 2010 12:33 PM
I guess the word Arabs would be a big clue.
A clue to what, set you free?
A claim to being Arab?
Thomas is a very Meccan name, right?
As we all know, no Arab has ever had sex with a Jew and no Jew has ever converted to Islam or Christianity.
Right, set you free?
‘apologists for Israel’s massacre at sea, and any other deplorable actions Israel thinks it has the “right” ‘ Even Joe Biden gets it. When Joe gets it and you don’t then ma and pa are wasting tuition money. Unless they are union in which case it is poetic.
See you and your fellow traveller’s don’t make the laws. They are performing a legal act. The Capt. of the Turkish Jihad ship said they had weapons that went over the side. Refusal to see does not make truth. Work on that.
You’re going to have to come up with a new term for anti-semitism, because these people aren’t semites.
“Antisemitism” means hatred of Jews, not of the semitic race. The phrase was coined in 19th century Germany.
“Eichmann 1937: You people should go back where you came from – Palestine.”
That’s what is rather ironic about the new “go back to where you came from!” argument — it’s the same argument that pushed the Jews back to Palestine starting in the 1800s.
I’m curious though, is the Left now announcing that it officially supports the rationale of the “go back to where you came from” argument? Does that mean the Left now gives its blessing if Europe starts kicking out all the Turks, Arabs, and Africans that have attached themselves to its social-welfare apparatus?
These ever-changing rules of identity politics are just too complicated! I never know from day to day which group has been granted greater moral superiority, and my handbook is an older edition that doesn’t even have the chapter on transgenders.
by Benjamin H. Freedman
Introductory Note — Benjamin H. Freedman was one of the most intriguing and amazing individuals of the 20th century.
Mr. Freedman, born in 1890, was a successful Jewish businessman of New York City who was at one time the principal owner of the Woodbury Soap Company. He broke with organized Jewry after the Judeo-Communist victory of 1945, and spent the remainder of his life and the great preponderance of his considerable fortune, at least 2.5 million dollars, exposing the Jewish tyranny which has enveloped the United States.
Mr. Freedman knew what he was talking about because he had been an insider at the highest levels of Jewish organizations and Jewish machinations to gain power over our nation. Mr. Freedman was personally acquainted with Bernard Baruch, Samuel Untermyer, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, Joseph Kennedy, and John F. Kennedy, and many more movers and shakers of our times.
This speech was given before a patriotic audience in 1961 at the Willard Hotel in Washington, D.C., on behalf of Conde McGinley’s patriotic newspaper of that time, Common Sense. Though in some minor ways this wide-ranging and extemporaneous speech has become dated, Mr. Freedman’s essential message to us — his warning to the West — is more urgent than ever before. — K.A.S. —

Davenport, I examined your link at 12:05 pm and oddly enough, I did not see a single suggestion that all the Jews in Israel should go back to Poland.
You can do better, Davenport. Come on, Helen’s fighting the good fight all alone out there. You going to let the whole weight of your side rest on one old lady?
Miss Gang-Bang 1938.
I feel no need to apologise for Israel’s actions T for troll, it wasn’t a masacre the fanatical Islamists’ Muslims picked a fight they couldn’t win. They were told to turn back but they wanted martyrdom and Jihad they got their most fevered wish. They wanted to perform Jihad well Israel complied with their recorded wishes, now they are enjoying grapes and goats.
Kevin brings up a very good point at 2:46pm. If the Lefty Canadians are going to support “Go back where you came from!” as the “final solution” for Israel, does that apply to… Rexdale? Or the Jane/Finch corridor ‘o death?
How about Caledonia? You want to give Brantford and Kitchener and Paris and Guelph and Dunville and all that back to the Six Nations?
Is there land in Scotland stolen from me by the English Crown back in the 1700s that I’m going to get back?
If some Arab acts up in Montreal, do we take him down to the St. Lawrence and chuck him in with instructions to swim home? If so, should he be supplied with a life jacket at taxpayer expense?
Inquiring minds wanna know.
Shawn, thanks for the anti-semite, nazi website. I’m sure it’s all very (in)accurate……….
How about Caledonia?
The Mohawks would have to go back to the USA, and then back to Asia.

Yep, Oz. You’re right.
Helen Thomas was born to Arab parents in Lebanon, so that means she must be a self-hating Jew.
I hate to write this, Oz, but you make Helen Thomas sound like a genius.
Oz and set you free, take it to email.
Lipstick, too much lipstick, too much lip.
Lebanon has a large proportion of Christians as citizens, so I suspect that Helen Thomas’ background was Christian.
Her looks are utterly irrelevant and I fail to see why some commenters are making such comments.
As for attempting to link a religion or ethnicity to political (not geographic) land – I’m against that. Nations are political entities; I fail to see how you can say that a particular religion or ethnicity has any ‘essential right’ to any particular land base.
The claim of ‘first footstep’ is empirically unverifiable and one has to question why ‘the first’ must also be ‘the last’.
I think what must be explored is why we humans always seem to need a scapegoat.
We have Obama constantly on the lookout for scapegoats; it’s Bush, it’s the American people Before the Era of Obama; it’s the wealthy; it’s doctors who cut off limbs with wild abandon; it’s banks; it’s greedy people who want wealth; it’s BP…whatever.
The Middle East nations, rather than facing up to the dysfunctionality of their tribal politics, blame The West for their militant populations. And, since Israel is an appendage of the West in their midst, they blame Israel.
Europe, rather than facing up to the fact that socialism has bled their countries bone dry and demolished their capacity to work, blame capitalism and the US..and Israel.
The facts remain. Israel exists. So do the Palestinians. Doing away with either will not solve Obama’s narcissism and ignorance; won’t solve the Middle East’s tribal dysfunctionality; won’t make Islamic fascism disappear, and won’t solve Europe drowning in the results of socialism.
A filthy minded old pig of a woman, betraying her Arab blood and her genetic hatred for Jews.
This support for the never-was land called “Palestine” is just masked hatred for Jews.
If one supports Hamas, it can only be the result of harbouring a deep hatred for Jews.
I am sick of it, here in Canada these people are called “New Democrats” and “Liberals”, in the US they are called “reporters”, and in 1930’s Germany they were called something else.
glacierman @10:31 – “…that…that….that…”face” appeared on my scream, I got so frightened…”
That was rather nice.
Davenport @12:05 – well done, mazel tov, you found left-leaning Israeli political opinion!
Hello @1:08 – I hate to be anti-semantic, but tortured and irrelevant attempts to re-define the term “semite”, plus poorly understood (by you) articles about speculation on genetic testing, are a little beside the point, surely.
When I think of the Three witches in Macbeth. Helen Thomas always comes to mind. All seem to reflect her countenance. The three faces of Helen.
1) Malice
2) Deceit
3) Pride
The crone of Hellenic – Nordic myth who snips the lives of the young men with a laugh.

Darn Walking Ghost….you beat be to it!! Kevin brings up excellent points.Where can I buy tickets to watch the exploding lefty heads try to argue against his questions?
🙂
And isn’t it funny that the only comment on my questions so far is from Matt, who points out the 6 Nations have to go back to New York. BWAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!
ET
Amen
senility&sloth explain it better than evil.
I worked for an old coot a few yrs back..just to say that it’s opinions for niggers, frogs, etc were not nice,
Thomas should be held accountable for her statement. Hopefully some reporting agency confronts her on it and gets it on tape.
The Middle East nations, rather than facing up to the dysfunctionality of their tribal politics, blame The West for their militant populations. And, since Israel is an appendage of the West in their midst, they blame Israel.
~et
Yeah, sure.
The Islamic countries only have a hardon for Israel because the West supports them.
It has nothing to do with the fact that Israel has a majority Jewish population, despite all the clear claims to the contrary by the Muslims who attack them.
Mein Kampf is a best seller in the Muslim Middle East, the blood libel of the matzos is a universal belief among Muslims about Jews, and “the Protocols of Zion” is a hit TV mini-series because the “West” supports Israel.
Yeah, riiight.
I have never understood why Jews like the Democrats and liberals so much. It is like they don’t know who their friends are. The stronger the Christian, the stronger the belief that Israel has a right to that land. Many would willingly fight to defend it.
If the left distains Christianity, they will also distain your faith too.
I just caught on CTV newsomethingorother Paul Merkley from Carlton University, talking about the Gaza blockade. He gave a very good and forceful explanation of why Israel is right in doing what it is doing. It made the previous commentor from Victoria BC, against Israel, look like the fool she is.
Thomas’s comments have zero relevance. She’s a joke. She appears to be reverred for her long service, but I doubt it. I’m pretty sure she’s considered a joke all round. So, so what? Reminds me of those nutty remarks from the drunk Indian Chief, Order of Canada recipient.
Here’s what really bothered me:
Bremmer (?), advisor to the Obama administration recently said in a speech that of all the places he’s been to, his favourite city is … wait for it … Al Quds. I was dumbstruck by that remark. It has to be a FIRST. I don’t know the context. Perhaps it was a speech to Arabs. But still …
Colin from Mission: Your remark about the 30s. In many long conversations with an old friend and former business partner (who’s 20 years older than me) that is our constant refrain: 1930s Redux.
“Give the Jews New Mexico”
I like that! They should also give them a 50 mile wide strip across Texas, Arizona & California.
That would defiantly solve the illegal alien problem down there! Quickly and efficiently.
“Give the Jews New Mexico” chant, chant chant…….love it.
Boy, are they right when they say anti-semitism is ugly.
Why is it that when Bush II used certain terms every reporter claimed it was “code” for something, that he was playing to his base, yet when a Islamist member of the Turkish government uses the phrase “final solution” in reference to Jews they assume he didn’t understand the context of the phrase? Is it at all possible he was using a non-too-subtle code to play to HIS base? Did anyone even mention it to him in passing?
Re Helen’s ethnicity, does it make any difference that her parents’ said they were born in Syria on the 1930 census for Detroit?
Come on Rat, don’t you know that only Conservatives have an ugly, scary hidden agenda? Only Conservatives speak in code phrases. Only Conservatives want to revive the gas chambers…etc.
I believe the technical term in abnormal psych is “projection”.
Helen could work for the CBC. She’d fit right in.
ET: “Her looks are utterly irrelevant and I fail to see why some commenters are making such comments.”
=================
But her ludicrous application of make-up isn’t. It ways something about her character and her mentality.
ways = says
Colin @ 1:33 AM: “In my heart of hearts, I’m truly beginning to think we’re witnessing a replay of the 1930s, in terms of a massive global financial crisis/recession, concurrent with a majour rise in global antisemitism.
===================
That’s exactly what’s been occupying my mind, too. It’s scary.
How come so little is said about the 586,000 Jews who fled from Arab countries to Israel immediately after 1948, to escape persecution? How many of them would want to go back?
Yeah, the International Jewish Banking Conspiracy.
Just ask T.
The Phantom: “Come on, Helen’s fighting the good fight all alone out there. You going to let the whole weight of your side rest on one old lady?”
That’s actually what I find most hilarious about SDA — this desperate insistence that we’re all on one of two sides, that all “leftists” are all part of some same big conspiracy, that I ought to feel compelled to “defend” Helen Thomas. Us versus them, conservatives vs. “leftists,” SDA vs. the world…I’d bet that being on SDA makes you feel like you’re part of some kind of team, right? Like you’ve all one big happy family?
ET is spot on. With the exception of Lena Horne, Sophia Loren and Cary Grant, we ALL get uglier with age so enough of the comments re her looks. Et is also bang on with the assessment of the need for scapegoats.
I get the distinct impression that the Isreali’s will not willingly part with their nukes…..but will deliver them …to their hostile Arab neigbours….by air-mail……
In April-May of 1967 the buzzards were circling just like now…..just as brazen……
It’s not clever to mess with somebody with nothing to lose…….
Whats worse is that “ironically, [she said this] during the White House’s Jewish Heritage Celebration” and this is the second time since the flotilla incident that she has stated an exclusively pro-Palestinian view(see links below for more embarrassing video).
What’s amazing to me is that what she said is no different from saying that black Americans should be sent back to Africa, or that Chinese Americans should go back to China – pick any race – send them all home. There is one huge difference however; the Jews have been in Israel for thousands of years whereas immigrants to the US are relatively recent.
She wins for racist comment of the week.

Yea, I hadn’t thought about the whole “how she looks” thing myself until it was brought up.
Of course that said, “You can’t put lipstick on a pig” seems to naturally come into the subconscious mind in this case.
Interesting.
