Elevating a 9/11 Truther to “czar” – is there nothing Obama can’t do?
President Obama’s “green jobs” adviser could become a mounting liability for the Obama administration, as the latest revelation about Van Jones shows his belief that the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks could have been an inside job.
Jones joined the “9/11 truther” movement by signing a statement in 2004 calling for then-New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer and others to launch an investigation into evidence that suggests “people within the current administration may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war.”
The statement asked a series of critical questions hinting at Bush administration involvement in the attacks and called for “deeper inquiry.” It was also signed by former Rep. Cynthia McKinney and Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans.
The discovery comes after Jones had to apologize Wednesday night for “offensive words” he uttered in February when he called Republicans “assholes.” He said the remarks “do not reflect the views of this administration” and its bipartisan aims.
But such statements just scratch the surface of Jones’ past commentary.
He also has consistently leaned on racially charged language, pointing the finger at “white polluters and the white environmentalists” for “steering poison” to minority communities, as he makes the case for lifting up low-income and minority communities with better environmental policy
A declared “communist” during the 1990s, Jones once associated with a group that looked to Mao Zedong as an inspiration.

A single instance of Obama referencing a free market solution to ANYTHING would convince me I was wrong about his being a marxist. Nada.

He was also outstanding on welfare reform which I give him great credit for notwithstanding the pressure from the Repub resurgence in the 1994 mid-terms.
So again, in summary, Obama posits the state as the solution to all problems; he appoints a lot of marxists; he’s a whitey-baiting black-liberationist; he gives no quarter to the free market economy as a social problem-solver. He see the world in zero sum terms: A wins B loses; exploiters and the oppressed. He believes government should “spread the wealth around”. He ran a 3rd world Cult of Personality racket on the American people; he wants a Maoist youth brigade with a budget = the military budget. I haven’t even mentioned his many, many marxist associations here.
Obama is a deeply ideological Marxist (but clearly not a marxist scholar, or a anything scholar).

Glen pulled it together today and gave a power point presentation on who is this Green Czar, his associations and history. So the Big O’s problem is the following – if he fires him will he be called a racist or better yet if he tries to hold onto this advisor and confidant how popular will the President be after the dust settles. Are we talking popularity in the low teen? Too delicious for words, too bad its the weekend and I’m off to a wedding where there will be no Fox News, internet radio and bloggers. I was under the impression that anyone appointed to a high level government post such as this had to, as part of their oath of office, agree to defend the US constitution. One cannot be a communist and support the US constitution as the two belief systems are mutually exclusive. As far as I’m concerned, “the only good commie is a dead commie” still holds. I’m sure that officers in the US military are noticing the assaults that are being made on the US constitution by BO.
Right now the best case scenario I can see to end this descent into totalitarianism is a US military coup with all the communist traitors put on trial. Should this not happen then one can expect a very messy situation as those who support freedom finally hit their breaking point and start taking out local totalitarians. Given that there is a substantial brainless minority who support BO’s marxist policies we’d be looking at a rerun of the US civil war albeit on a much larger scale.
I hope Beck takes on the appointments of Czars Mark Lloyd, John Holdren, and Cass Sunstein.
