(Bumped to April 30 with updates)
Has this image appeared anywhere in the mainstream media to date?

There was a rally today in Saskatoon to support these criminals. A spokesperson (identified as Colleen Thomas) was interviewed on radio claiming that Six Nations invented democracy and that their system of governance was inspiration for Benjamin Franklin.
Apparently, they’ve forgotten how it works since then.
UPDATE: The website at CitizensofCaledonia.ca has now been pulled due to threats and intimidation. That’s too bad, but considering the documented acts of property damage and arson, perhaps it was considered too risky to continue publishing the photographic evidence.
I was able to pull up the documentation that was available on the site (pdf) and have saved it here:

A more general column on the failings of institutionalized welfare and the reserve system in today’s Ottawa Sun by Pat MacAdam.

I usually stay away from this stuff. Usually because I dont have a personal connection to it and there are not a lot of facts laid out. Lots of emotion.
I was born in that area and lived near the 6 nations reserve for years. When I was a banker I was sent back to Brantford (some karmic punishment I guess :->)and saw the workings of the 6 nations reserve. My impression at the time was that it was a relatively wealthy, well run community. While there can always be tensions between communities that are have mutliple barriers between them, borders, “race”, economic status social status etc…it was generally a good place.
I left that part of my life, youth, with nothing but positive memories and thinking this is how it worked. Nonetheless, I have been surprised by the actions in other parts of the country over time. I realized that perhaps things didnt work as well between reserve communities and the surrounding communities.
All this being said, I wonder what has happened within the 6 nations community? Has there been a change of leadership, are there new leaders, what factions are there within the 6 nations group that have led to this? That comment is not meant to dismiss but actually raise the question that IF this has been a long standing problem why this reaction at this time. What was the catalyst. This is a change from before, I will leave it to others, inside the 6 nations community and outside, to evaluate whether the change has been a good or bad thing.
I will say that this is best resolved through the courts and through review of the timelines and documentation and the circumstances around it.
To me the summary of the documents, and this may not be all of them, is
1) Ownership of the land on 6 miles on each side of the river was granted to the 6 nations
2) At some point this was changed to the reserve, it isnt clear to me what was received in compensations for this change of contract but I will assume something was given, perhaps someone else can point that out
So the question becomes was this parcel of land outside the reserve? and was the contract dine properly. All of the subsequent deeds etc do not matter if it wasnt done properly, although I can lose parts of my land if my neighbour build a fence 1 foot over the property line and enough time goes by without dispute.
Bottom line, whats changed within the community to drive this? Regardless of the dispute, why the change in tactics, why the radicalization…something has changed within the community or the leadership within the community. The MSM doesnt look at this, they tell the story with the stereotypes that work best and easiest.
There is a deeper story here. This is not the way this commmunity has operated over time. One wonders if the support for the tactics within the 6 nations for this is as monolithic as the MSM and the current 6 nations would have you believe.
It is sad for me personally to see this going on, it only deepens the rift, and perhaps in some ways creates a rift that didnt exist before.
I think Redwoman is reaching pretty deep to try and defend these hooligans. The simple fact is in a civilized country where one is expcted to act civilly the courts are the place to resolve these issues. If everytime someone in this country decided to blockade, harass, intimidate someone in oreder to seek resolution you can imagine the resulting chaos and I don’t expect anyone would countenance that – what is so difficult to comprehend that. Is it only aboriginals that have a difficult time with this or has a spineless government allowed this to happen?
I’ve just sent this letter to 6 politicians at both the federal and provincial levels:
Enough is enough.
These “protesters” have gone well beyond anything reasonable. They are showing themselves to be the entitled thugs they really are. The government of Canada must not enable their criminal behaviour by letting them get away with actions for which any other citizen in this country would be justly held to account: arrest and charges.
The government of Canada has the responsibility to insure peace and good order for its citizens. The time has come to STOP this reverse apartheid and apprehend these CRIMINALS.
Talk about a double standard! To add insult to injury, the thugs in Caledonia don’t need to worry about where the next cheque’s coming from–some government–while their innocent victims’ lives are turned upside down. Unjustified favouritism, on one hand; unjust discrimination on the other.
Canadians are entirely fed up with this government perpetuated injustice.
Enough is enough!
I saw a bit up the post, people were calling them ‘muslim indians’ – i don’t think that’s exactly the right phrase. Even Al Qaeda wants to hold on to modern technology. These people are more like the Taliban. They want to go back in time and live like savages, hunting, fishing and worshipping ‘tree spirits’ and ‘elders’. They want to be those noble savages that never existed outside of the mind of Rousseau.
These people are a minority within a minority within a minority and they are holding native development hostage. Their allies are the anti-capitalist types, the know-it-all hippies and the lazier elements of the media. These Red Taliban ™ are the ruin and the actual opressors of natives. Try being a productive person on a reserve – it’s like living in ‘Atlas Shrugged’.
These people can’t win this. It would be bad for the rule of law and it would be a disaster for natives.
To defeat these Red Taliban ™, we need to attack them at their strongest point which is a legitimately racist past and white liberal guilt for it.
We need to show how they are racist – and they are. Someone put a microphone in a Red Taliban’s face and ask him his opinion of black people, or asians, or gays. Do that and his liberal patina melts away. Ask him what he thinks of hitler, because I’ve met more than one of these Red Taliban who love hitler and what he did. Ask him about jews… In short, show him for the intolerant, anti-democtratic, hateful scum that he is.
Then talk to an indian exile from the city – where most natives live – and ask him what he thinks of these people on the blockades. I’ll guarantee you that that ‘urban indian’ will have a story for you about living under constant harassment and living in fear of the aforementioned blockaders. [remember: the representatives of the ‘urban indians’ came out in support of the tories in the last election]
Attack their strengths, alienate them from white liberals, establish urban indians as the legitimate voice of indians.
Do that and the police and army will be free to smash these terrorists whereever they show their ugly heads.
And as for calling them terrorists?
” In 1991 the Mohawk Warrior Society were among 21 Indian groups to share in a $250,000 Moammar Gadhafi Human Rights Award given by the Libyan government, which is known to support international terrorism. Three representatives of the Mohawk Nation Office went to Tripoli to accept the award from Col. Gadhafi. In their own press release the Warrior Society said: “The Ganienkehake are cited for their unyielding century-old fight for sovereignty that is increasing in intensity, despite heavily armed force of Canada, the provinces of Ontario and Quebec, and in the United States, particularly in upper New York State.” (Globe and Mail, 6/15/91)”
Over a million taxpayer dollars to repair that bridge burned by the Native terrorists. I wonder if the taxpayers could sue the terrorist Natives to recoup their losses, and maybe tack on an extra $50 million or so for grief, suffering, etc…
From the website:
Funding to Replace Bridge Annouced Today In Local Paper
* “One day after it was burned during a native protest, the federal government has announced it will replace the Stirling St. Railway Overhead bridge.” Projected cost $1,274,350 – Government investment $424,783.00″

Excuse me Ti-Guy , but I’m not European. I was born here, as was my father and grandfather.
Last time I checked that made me Canadian – and as “native” as any other Canadian drawing breath today.
Colleen Thomas is both ‘wrong and right’ and more wrong that right, with her assertion that ‘Indians invented democracy’.
Democracy is a sociopolitical form of organization and relates to the size of the population. The size of the population.
A small population – all over the world (Africa, Asia, Europe)- not just in N. America – which lives as a collective of let’s say, a few hundred in a group – will organize themselves in a political mode called ‘ad hoc’. There are no hereditary leaders; no elected leaders. No leaders. Just a group of people living as a collective – who make all decisions by communal discussion. This mode only operates in the most basic economy of hunting/gathering (no domesticated animals, no planting of foods). It’s no good for a larger and more complex economy.
Once you get into a geographic area that is richer and can support a larger population, this simple political mode of ‘communal discussion without leaders’ ends. You move into hereditary tribal leadership and hereditary sets of ‘elders’.
The Six Nations around Caledonia are all part of the Iroquois tribe. This had a hereditary leadership and hereditary elders. The hereditary line was matrilineal ( leaders were defined by the female line of heredity, not the male line). This is common among peoples whose main sustenance was based on plants rather than animals (maize, corn, wheat, etc). If your economy is based around animals – the leadership will probably be patrilineal (male).
So- the ‘Indians’ did not ‘invent democracy’. A communal, no leadership mode of organization is found in ALL small population hunting and gathering societies. No leaders.
In larger populations, the leadership becomes fixed and hereditary. Not elected.
The Greeks did indeed invent elected leadership – which operates in much larger populations.
Our modern democracy is a more complex version of the Greek – for it involves an entire population electing accountable representatives – and an elected leader.
The US and Australian versions are good examples. Sorry to say – but, in Canada, we are getting into a mess with our democratic system, because we are restricting the nature of electable representatives (have to be bilingual). The Greeks did this by a class restriction; we are doing it by a language restriction. Trouble.
“Course there wasnt a mob of 300 angry non native Caledonians trying to rip their way through the police line waiting to get their hands and whatever else on the indians ..was there..nooo way..whiter than white eh? Huh!”
Redwoman whats irrational in the fact that property owners who pay taxes on their land, abide bylaws, buy permits for every imagined betterment of their home and property, get angry when they see people the same as themselves as human beings, complain about hardship that only exsists in their minds, and really when it comes to any human being regardless of color generally is self inflicted?
If your knuckling under to the falsity that somehow natives can’t rise up and make something of themselves, regardless of what somebody else thinks, you have already lost the debate.
My dads father was a “drunken bum” luckily being raised by a good mother in a time where excuses where just that and you had to think your way out of hardship my father and four of his five siblings made their way in the world, and they don’t take much time to stop and whine about the painful memories of the past.
Ironically the fifth and youngest labeled slow from a young age, gets a cheque every month and has time to read…..a stack of human rights manuals piled beside her chair (not bad for someone “mentally challenged”).
Myself I think socialism was rearing its ugly head just at the time her kick in the ass from life was about to be delivered, and instead society took it, and is still taking it years later.
I see my aunt and the natives causing problems in Caledonia as one in the same.
I don’t see my family being white making ay difference when it comes to the hardships some families face.
Its the importance and real value of the word excuse thats changed, and the lazy hide behind.
Nothing in this country will every change until we are ALL treated as Canadians first, heritage second. I look as my birth certificate it says Canadian, (and province) it does not say french, scotish, chinese or native. It just say Canadian.
Excellent example of Canadian self-mandated multiculti suicide. Appeasement at expense of unity. Smug peaceful canada, eh?
Canada is the only country with an official government-issued racial status card.
This is embarrassingly racist. The fundamental problem is individualism vs collectivism. Individualism is the opposite of racism, as it is premised on the idea of unique individuals and personal rights and responsibilities. What the Indian industry and its proponents/dependents want is racially-segregated collectivism, subsidized by our work as individual citizens.
I, and most Canadians deep down, believe in individualism and freedom. Just because your white/Native/black/Cuban father was a drunken bum/white racist or corrupt band councillor does mean that you will be. If you want to live in a collectivist, racist community, I respect your “freedom” to do so. You should have the same rights a typical Mennonite community. But, I don’t want to pay for it. Especially when it’s a ruse. How many people who use evil capitalist inventions like skidoos, refrigeration, surgery or TV also speak of maintaining their “traditional cultural” lifestyle?
If Aboriginals want to live a subsistance lifestyle, let them. But, by definition, such a lifestyle does not require any money. Wouldn’t capitalist profits from “European” consumerism corrupt such a lifestyle?
Trying to understand Sam at 4:40am.
Someone who is frustrated with the fine print, the red tape?
Someone who is used to getting their way by throwing a tantrum, throwing their weight around?
Someone who is ignored due to bursting out with offensive language and attitude?
Someone who is often in trouble with the law perhaps?
Sam, there must be some injustice that you went through. What was that?
I’m just guessing at what exactly has you so upset. TG
This action is working against the interest of natives.
Reading through this thread, the developing attitude is **One law for all Canadians**.
Will growing public frustration with lawless actions lead to all natives losing their status and special privileges?
How does burning expensive ifrastructure like bridges over railways advance your cause?
Getting noticed does not help if it only drives home the obvious need for jail time for destroying public assets.
That is a terrorist tactic, is it not?
The judge who fails to hand out jail time for that is a terrorist suck-up liberal lackey who should be tarred and feathered. TG
just spoke with MP Gary Merasty the other day. he’s the member from saskatchewan who squeaked in past thompson. i got his take on the situation. please, if anyone has a frazzled nerve left, read the post on my blog today. i’ll be going into our conversation in a little more depth later on as part deux.
…ya know the old saying “history repeats itself”?
Well guess what Canada, we never learn. Hint: Oka Dokie.
But can you imagine all the howling and shrieking if natives/metis were made as “equal citizen’s” of this country?
Think of all the poor unemployed white collar Liberal deep thinkers out there as a result of this perposterious thinking.
The shame!
Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum videtur
People are surprised about different laws/enforcement for different groups? No property rights? Etc., etc….?
All these things are pretty much enshrined or purposefully omitted in our Charter.
Our motto is ‘Peace, Order and Good Government’, folks, not ‘Liberty, Equality & the Pursuit of Happiness'(sorry, that might be a paraphrase…can’t remember the exact words..too early).
End this madness. The natives of this country lost this war and were conquered by Europeans centuries ago. It’s time to face that and accept it. The natives are not special super-citizens of Canada, they should be treated like every other citizen of Canada. If they don’t like that then bring it on. Let’s re-fight the war but this time for keeps.
“want to go back in time and live like savages”–I remember an article in the Canadian Geographic about 10 years ago–it showed a Native man who was going into the hills to live like his forefathers. With him he had a rifle, wore glasses and blue jeans etc. Guess those were Native inventions right up there with democracy, eh?
Either the Natives are Canadians or they are not. They see nothing wrong with free education, medicare, housing etc. from working Canadians but still want to abide by their own rules. Political correctness is killing us and them. The Nanny State has turned them into whiners and complainers and an embarrasment to their forefathers. Destruction of property is destruction of property no matter who does it. It must be stopped quickly. Either they are part of the solution or they are the problem.
To the protesting natives: This is not france or europe. Just because they caved in to terrorists in the streets does not mean canada will. As much as you may think you are, you are not the same as the tribal leaders in Afganistan. We are fighting a war of civilizations, not terror, and you have joined the taliban. Tell me, what advantage will you have living in a 13th century mindset, when the rest of the world is in the 21st century. You lost, get over it. After Sheila completes the audit of Indian Affairs, adscam will be a tiny blight on the liberals. Times are changing and cdns are not going to take your crap anymore. re the Treaty Cards, if the govt can issue these, why is an ID card so hard to accept.
“I thought this chic had half a brian”
sam
You sure had me goin for awhile!
As soon as I saw your post I ran to the deep freeze and popped the lid.
Boy I sure was relieved that Brian was still there. ( Well at least way more that half of him anyways)
I don’t mind someone pulling a gag like that on me but you could of shown a little more respect by capitalizing his name.
After all he was a fine human being and quite tasty to boot!
Now before any of you out there get on your high horses about criticising personal human recycling (please don’t call it cannibalism- too judgmental in my view) I’d like to remind you that embracing alternative life styles is a Canadian value.
Now I’ve got to run to the Co-op for some brickets before his family arrives with the potato salad.
John: “The natives of this country lost this war and were conquered by Europeans centuries ago. It’s time to face that and accept it.”
1. There wasn’t any war to speak of,
2. They are learning from Quebec, who by the way did loose a war, win it back via leftist Liberal thinking and methods.
So who’s the real looser in this “war”?
No one has a right to taxpayer’s money simply because they ‘were here first’. Baseing rights on ancestry and race is just plain wrong and wouldn’t be tolerated in any other situation.
I support the citizens of Caledonia, hope they can make their voices heard because they include many others Canadians, not just from caledonia, who are fed up with native terrorism.
They have counted coup on the all-season radial. Warriors, indeed.
Excuse me Ti-Guy , but I’m not European. I was born here, as was my father and grandfather. Last time I checked that made me Canadian – and as “native” as any other Canadian drawing breath today.
Spare me the overwrought sentiments of the poetry you wrote when you were 13 years old, please.
Being born here doesn’t make you more “native” than the people who were here before you, as much as you wish, and hope and pray it would. You might become more native if you actually tried to sympathise with angry, marginalised people who share this country with you, who aren’t exactly like you and with whom you have more in common than you think.
But no. You don’t do that. You make your snarky little oblique comments, your minions cheer you on and thus you stake your claim to “nativeness” in this great country of ours.
Way to go, Kate
…*clap clap clap*
perhaps some of us whiteys are related to the Kennewick man or Clovis.
who’s on first, what’s on second, who’s a first nation, what’s a nation,
So far scientists have found no technological affinities to relate Clovis to the Asian Paleolithic. However, Europe may have possible lithic precursors to Clovis. The Solutrean culture of western Europe, dating between 24,000 and 16,500 years ago, shows a similar lithic technology to that used to produce Clovis tools. The two cultures also share bone-shaping techniques, pebble-decorating artistry, the unusual tradition of burying stone tools in caches filled with red ocher, and other traits.
anyway , no ones rights should exceed or exclude anothers.
In addition to archaeological research on ancient human sites, ancient skeletal remains show a range of physical attributes suggesting separate migrations of different populations of modern humans (Homo sapiens sapiens) from Asia. The handful of human skeletons dated over 8,000 years ago show some regional variation, but as a group their skulls differ markedly from the broad faces, prominent cheekbones, and round cranial vaults that characterize modern–day American Indians. These ancient specimens have long and narrow cranial vaults with short and relatively gracile faces. Two examples are the 9,400-year-old Spirit Cave Man from Nevada and the most recently discovered 8.900-year-old Kennewick Man found in Washington State in 1996. Physical anthropologists see a greater similarity in these crania to certain Old World populations such as Polynesians, Europeans, and the Ainu of Japan. Only one early specimen, Wizards Beach Man, a Nevada skeleton dated to 9,200 years ago, falls within the range of variability of contemporary American Indians, an exception that requires further scientific validation. Crania with American Indian morphology appears by at least 7,000 years ago.
The similarity of the ancient crania to Polynesians suggests that one early source of migrants to the Americas was Asian circumpacific populations. These populations were succeeded in Asia by the recent expansion of modern Mongoloids (i.e., Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, etc.), and in America by the ancestors of recent Native Americans. Whether individual skeletons or specific early groups were directly related to later peoples is unknown. Early migrants may have been replaced through competition or changed through gene flow by later arrivals. At this time, scientists are not ruling out the possibility of a migration from Europe.
Evidence for diverse migrations into the New World also comes from Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) research on living American Indian populations. These studies have consistently shown similarities between American Indians and recent populations in Asia and Siberia, but also unique American characteristics, which the very early crania have also shown. Evidence for only four mtDNA lineages, characterizing over 95 percent of all modern American Indian populations, may suggest a limited number of founding groups migrating from Asia into the New World. Recently, however, a fifth mtDNA lineage named “X” has turned up in living American Indians and in prehistoric remains for which there does not appear to be an Asian origin. The first variant of X was found in Europeans and may have originated in Eurasia. Naturally, generations of conflict, intermarriage, disease, and famine would influence the genetic makeup of modern Native Americans. Further work with mtDNA, nuclear DNA (which is more representative of the entire genome), and Y-chromosome data, the male-transmitted complement of mtDNA, will permit better estimates of the genetic similarities between Old and New World groups and help to determine when they would have shared a common ancestor.
this would all suggest that all first nations are second.
this is coverup by the MSM and the politically correct.
It is as silly as still believing that Columbus found the new world.
The protesters timing is bad. They did inspire the USA with their government.
“Ontario offers to compensate Caledonia developers: report”
Last Updated Sat, 29 Apr 2006 18:09:36 EDT
CBC News
The Ontario government has reportedly offered compensation to land developers who are affected by an eight-week aboriginal occupation near the town of Caledonia.
David Peterson will act as a mediator in this dispute. (CBC)
A spokesperson for Aboriginal Affairs Minister David Ramsay said that two developers and six builders were offered a deal on Thursday in an attempt to break a deadlock over land.
Broadcast News said the province has not reached a final agreement with the developers yet, and the proposed deal is confidential.
FROM APRIL 21, 2006: Blockade of CN rail line lifted
Meanwhile, a former Liberal premier of Ontario, David Peterson, has agreed to act as mediator to help resolve the dispute. Peterson, chairman of a Toronto law firm, will answer to Ramsay.
Peterson has been active as a negotiator in aboriginal matters for some time. He has been involved in discussions over northern pipelines, the birth of Nunavut and gambling revenues.
Word of the tentative compensation deal leaked out Saturday, a day after 500 local residents gathered peacefully to demand the removal of a native blockade in their community.
Many non-natives in the southwestern Ontario community are frustrated by the constant police presence, lost business revenue, detours and say the town’s reputation is damaged.
Construction of hundreds of homes like these is at the heart of the issue. (CBC) ..photo
A similar rally on Monday drew hundreds of people who headed to the barricade. Some yelled insults at police and aboriginal occupiers.
Local developers have been demanding compensation for some time because the native protest has prevented work on the residential subdivision in Caledonia since it started on Feb. 28.
The land was originally part of an aboriginal treaty dating back to 1841, but the members of the nearby Six Nations reserve say the land was leased to the province, not sold for development.
The developers are building a subdivision that is designed to hold 600 homes and 2,000 people. They say they have invested $6 million in the site since they bought it in 1992.
_____________________________________________
I think that the cost of “settling” this standoff monetarily will be very large and this is not even considering the monetary losses of the townspeople.
I bet the taxpayers will pick up 100% of the tab; ie:-the natives will pick up 0% of the tab for the bridge or any “compensation” to the developers or townsfolk.
The price of capitulation will be even larger when the tactics that have been used are employed again in the future.
Oh….nice to know that negotiations are in such “good-hands” too. (kack)
Last week all we heard from libs in Ont was sell out re SWL. Now the Ont government is going to sell out to the developers. Will they use Onts share of returned duties to do this. The cost of all damage should be deducted from all cheques going to the terrorists equally, until paid in full. That means, GST, Child Tax Credit, Harpers 1200.00, welfare, e.i. (if anyone gets it). OAP and any other.
My guess:
Taxpayers will pay EVERYTHING and the natives will get the land back.
Developers get money for losses during the standoff plus money for the loss of the land and structures not yet finished.
There will be great celebrating in one camp then continued extortion and capitulation.
(Hands in my pockets…)
The Borg would never assimilate Indians
lmagine living next door to a family with a spoiled brat who gets away with everything and never does without, now imagine living beside a whole “nation” of them.
Looks like David Peterson is going to be busy if this is how the government is going to settle this, its sickening.
There are only two possible results here
1) The contract of sale of the land is valid
or
2) The 6 nations version is correct and they leased the land
Its one or the other. If #1 then the 6 nations get nothing and the government would be right to enforce the rule of law…how they do it is subject to lots of debate and there are many ways.
If #2, then the government is corret to compensate the developers since the province clearly screwed up in purporting to give them free and clear title when they did not have it.
Of course the worst possible situation is #3…the land was properly sold, the contract is valid and the province chooses to go back on its contract, effectively “selling” back what it bought for less. In this situation the government pays the developers and gives title back….there are a host of variations on this option.
Option #3 will happen because either the contract is truely unclear, or the government doesnt want back up its claims.
As for those who scream about property rights, a valid concern, well all property did belong to the crown at some point. IT comes down to will the courts offer protection by demanding not only proper compensation but due process as well.
It really should start with is there a valid sale of the land. If not the 6 nations is correct, if yes then it is the governments job to clarify the situation. The problem is nobody has clarified the original contract as far as I can tell.
Appointing Petersen only drives me to the conclusion that we are looking at an option 2 or an option 3…the contract may be valid but the government will not enforce in the dispute.
I leave it to the rest of you to discuss if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
Of course the taxpayers will end up footing the whole bill, we always do.
Note that the Caledonia website is now shut down due to intimidation and harassment. (are we surprised) I hope SmallDeadAnimals kept a copy of the document posted there, so other people can read it.
I think repect is earned no matter what color or race one is.
You don’t earn it by just breathing, crying fowl, and leaning on the actions of your forefathers.
It would be nice if everyone in Canada could use political correctness as a crutch , and a shield to hide deficiencies when it comes to living an honest life made by meeting individual responsiblities that pertain to our homes ,families and communities. They have never been honestly met with excuses and passing the buck, while thinking prosperity is somehow an entitlement, that can be coersed from their neighbours.
oops – you can delete the last one if you like Kate, I had one two many windows open and left the comment in the wrong one sry.

Ti–guy
“Being born here doesn’t make you more “native” than the people who were here before you.”
has to be one of the most absurd comments i have ever seen, and as a 7th generation ‘Canadian’, i take offence. My ancestors helped build this great country into what it is today (and ‘purchased’ their own land) with hard work, ethics, and values … not by snivelling, whining, and asking for handouts…
Some insite from the recently departed John Kenneth Galbraith — “For the maximum good for the most people, we are obliged to proceed on this basis: “Liberty of each, limited by the like liberties of all, is the rule in conformity with which society must be organized.”
Sam
“how many of you got kids that go to school? What would you do if they got hurt because some native after reading this site decided to pay white people back for their/your ignorance”
Sam, are white peoples children in danger of physical harm from natives?
Citizens of Caledonia site is now closed, here is what shows on their site:
“Do to Intimidation Through This Site and Harassment to People Believed to be Connected With This Site, This Site is Closed for the Present Time.
The Information Needed To Support The Rights Of Canadians Is Now In Your Hands….
We Thank You For Your Support Through This Event.
This Site has Proven the Power Of The Internet…. ”
Does anybody have a copy of the content? I am more than willing to put up a mirror of the content, right now, if someone can tell me what to put up.
If you click the “site map” link at the top right of the site all of the content appears to still be available. For example, here are some Indian terrorism highlights from April 20th that you won’t read in the mainstream media:
# Protesters dump tractor trailer loads of stone into the middle of Argyle St. This now effectively shuts down access from the south end of town to Hwy 6
# Protesters declare War against Canadian Citizens
# Protesters burn tires in the middle of Public Road
# Protesters overturn a vehicle from an overpass bridge onto Hwy 6 Bypass and burn it. OPP must shut down the Hwy 6 By Pass to ensure public safety.
# Protesters burn a wooden walking bridge over CN rail tracks. Volunteer firefighters have threats uttered at them & told they will be shot if they try to put it out. This bridge is in close proximity of home
nice to see extra amounts of venom oozing from the mouths of your enlightened readership this morning. do you get paid by the racial slur uttered by the reality-based community?
Hello, davidson. I consider the burning of a bridge as a terrorist act. Most in the reality-based community probably agree. Just like when the muzzies had to burn things down because of their outrage at the Prophet Mo toons. And, yes, the readers on this forum are probably more enlightened than others. How many people saw the burning bridge on CBC?
Incredible photo Kate. What a waste.
Why are these stories not found on the MSM?
IMHO, they need to figure that out soon or they will watch their ratings continue to slide.
…the reality of Indian life in Canada can be summed up by this old saying:
“idle hands are the devil’s workshop.”
Think about this… like mixing oil and water!
