Manitoba Liberals meeting in Winnipeg this weekend are looking for ways to distance themselves from their federal colleagues.

Well, they better get moving before the best ones are all snapped up. The Alberta (fillintheblank) Party has a big head start.
That’s no change from the last election anyway, the only Liberal candidate here that was pushing his Liberalness that I know of was Ralghy. The rest barely had a Liberal logo on their literature.
Typical Liberal thinking… slap on a new coat of paint and the voters will never know. What peeves me the most is how stoopid the Liberals think we must be.
Anyway, if the poor darlings need help with a new name, more than glad to oblige…

Manitoba Liberals changing their name? What a stupid idea, they should be happy with any attention they get to remind people they exist. In Manitoba there are only 2 parties that will govern provincially, the NDP (current) or PC.
Besides after the decimation of the federal PC’s a while back I am surprised none of you are offering the Lib’s advice on how to again rebuild a party after losing of voter confidence. Of course it took how many years? Perhaps they are better of without your advice.
I would suggest the name Larebil’s. It’s not to far off from the original so as not to confuse the 2 reamaining voters in the province and it is true to thier form of doing every thing bass akwards.
