Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/education/universityeducation/universities-and-colleges/12058543/The-campaign-to-topple-Oxford-Universitys-Cecil-Rhodes-statue-is-too-silly-for-words.html
The rather arrogant questioner in her “off the Shoulder frock”, ostensibly to clearly reveal the chip draws a comparison for me of a Taliban Field Piece blowing apart the Buddist Sculptures. My conclusion of the comparison is cultural ignorance cultivated in a hothouse/greenhouse atmosphere of creating tender plants only fit for a temporary display and then to be thrown on a compost heap.
No matter how many examples of death and destruction by muslims my lefty friends will defend them and criticize our way of life. I hold the media and academia as the cause of this as it seems those who went to university in my day have this lefty opinion. Us that went to work from high school are far more practical with common sense than this group. As Prager says he experienced this and the students of today reflect this leftist attitude.
And she’s a professor who can only come up with a tired and round about “you’re a racist, right?”
Is the whole debate online to watch the rebuttal?
I have a feeling he wasn’t granted access to the departmental wine cabinet.
I would have been more controversial with the brats. For example when destroying the nullity of multiculturalism, he should have stated that the resolution of the debate is absurd because Israel is largely a nation of civilized human beings while few of their retrograde neighbours behave as such. The borg-like Islamists don’t want peace, they want Israel gone, period. Every inhabited acre of land on the planet was paid for in blood or by relatively peaceful conquest. Those known as Palestinians won’t accept that and move on because they are the paid proxies of Islamists and western progressives living in a fairyland.
So when Praeger talks about Islamist killers he only mentions the Muslim ones, and that’s an “omission?” Oh, right and maybe when bad dress lady wants to bitch about Islamists misrepresenting Islam, she could mention they’re all Muslims too eh? Maybe peaceful Muslims should stop pontificating and obfuscating – in the US they’re the main reason men like Donald Trump can talk about stopping Islamic immigration – IOW they’re bring it down on themselves by living in their denial netherworld, where ideology and religion intersect to be used interchangeably as desired, one apparently repudiating the other and ignored as desired.
Many people don’t believe that rhetoric anymore and are hunkering down on security and immigration issues because they’ve lost trust in the mediocracy who purposefully muddy these waters daily and make the great unwashed feel unsafe who see their leadership failing to understand, let alone acknowledge the enemy warring with us. Until that happens Muslim communities risk isolating themselves from mainstream society.
When I hear complaints from some who say don’t blame Islam, I always counter with, then go tell ISIS and assorted other a** holes, they’re one the ones calling for the caliphate, calling themselves the “Islamic State” and arguing Allah has sent them to murder. If that’s wrong, which it is, then go after the ideology of Islamism and the tacit agreement with their methods from millions of Muslims, as indicated in Pew and other surveys. Pull the ideologues out of the mosques and communities by isolating and outing them.
No, Islamist apologists don’t want to do that because often their religious doctrine is chauvinistic and supposedly immune to criticism, and is always met with obfuscation and often violence. IOW agree Islam is a “peaceful religion” or there will be violence, a variation on the clarion call of the left – disagree with us or we can’t be held responsible if some of our thugs (we sent) beat you up.
Sorry state indeed.
“The campaign to topple Oxford University’s Cecil Rhodes statue is too silly for words.”
Not if you look at the statue through the eyes of Marxists. In order to cement their world view (Weltanschauung) grip on our society they have to obliterate all signs of previous societies. This Weltanschauung also pertains to the hate toward Israel by leftist (Marxist) academia and their actual wish for its obliteration. Another example of the left working in tandem with radical Islam to destroy liberal democracy.
Sad to say that this wish to destroy western liberal democracy is well underway. The fact that this question is even being debated at Oxford is evidence.
If and when their wish comes true won’t they be surprised when they are led off to the then version of the gulag or to a beheading in some sand dune.
what a great c6lip. thanks Kate. 🙂
what a great clip. loved every moment. Prager was as Prager-esque as ever and that lady in the unfortunate dress was every bit as obnoxious as i assumed she would be. thanks for posting Kate! 🙂
