  1. As good as this result is for Regina, there was a definite turn to the left on Saskatoon’s council. Pat Lorje, Bob Pringle, Charlie Clark all elected. Will make for some interesting meetings, even though pro development people still in majority.

  2. maryT:
If Goodale lost his seat that would be the best thing that happened since the “Income Trust Scandal” during the last election.
He should be designated as “Minister without Portfolio Responsible for National Corruption and Scandal” along with his erstwhile predecessor the former PM Paul Martin.
As John Baird would have it:
    The blabbermouth member from Wascana.
or “Minister Responsible for Incompetence and Stupidity”.
BTW how is the NDP inpired SEC probe to the Income Trust Scandal coming along?
Oh yes I forgot, the nation’s business is too preoccupied with who is diddling with “Belindog Strumpet”.
Oh I think I’m ready to “Tie” one on; and then “Domi-Up”.

  3. Perhaps Saskatoon needs a Citizen Wilson; matching wits (with unarmed opponents), arguing reason with the unreasonable, and poking fun with some off the wall ideas and suggestions that in a twisted way, make sense? http://www.iheartregina.com could easily morph into BridgeCity_Of_BlindingLights dot com….it wouldn’t take much to convince us to move

  4. Good Job Fiacco.
Krydor. Like you post about the SaskParty. I sure hope they can win next election, otherwise more and more people will continue to leave our very fine province and city.
    U DaMan Pat!
Reginians just showed everyone that we truly do love regina. Good job for getting out and voting!

Wow, imagine the work ethic, thoughtful insight and wisdom this guy could bring to a meeting!
    NOT!

Is Fiacco a paid up member of the party? I know he stumped for Martin in 2004, but I think that support was tied to Martin’s fuel tax giveaway to the cities.
The good mayor seems too smart to be a Liberal; don’t ya have to be some kind of a dough head to belong to the Liberal Party (“like it’s 1999”) of Canada?
