Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Tough to be pro Wheat Board monopoly.
One could say that these sore losers are out in left field!
Y’know…I just can’t wrap my head around these people’s logic. What thought processes dictate to their logic that maintaining a monopoly and shackling even one farmer who wants control of his own fruits of labour is an acceptable thing.
Its not like they can’t still sell to the outfit of THEIR choice.
Hah, Andrew and Tom should scoop up the leavings with a front end loader, and sell it on the open market. Lets see if the CWB can get a good bid price for it!
Nothing like a little free and fair competition…

It’s funny though, that the person who deposited the grain broke the law of the system they support. Remember it’s NOT their grain, it’s the wheatboards grain. (Unless they drove it in from Ontario)
Perhaps some toilet paper should be dropped at the perpetrators front door. Now that he might just have to wipe his own …
Judging from the camera angle the farmer that left that pile of wheat stole it from a mouse.
A rather unorthodox way of making a donation. I prefer to write cheques.
Farmers exercising freedom of choice in grain delivery.
Andrew’s kick went through the uprights.
Nice Walter…very nice…
Hans, you stole my line.
Wow, a Minister of the Crown actually said “property right”. Pity it was a provincial minister and not a federal one.

Collectivists do not give up easily.
That looks like #3 or feed wheat to me from what I can see in the picture. Some beef cow is going to go hungry tonight.
Derek “Andrew’s kick went through the uprights.” So did Minister Ritz’s. Too bad Ralph’s crown jewels did not.

Hey Heeeyyyyyyyy, kis-maass!
After all, grain is nothing more than unprocessed manure!
“That’s a real shame, it would have made a turd”
-concerned cattleman
More seriously, why not save the grain and sell it when marketing choice comes in; then it might actually have some intrinsic value in the market as opposed to its political value.
Paul McCallum was pretty much run out of Regina for missing that field goal in 2004. His character came through as he later set a record for consecutive field goals and was instrumental in BC’s Grey Cup win this year. I bet those same “fans” wish they had him back now … fools.
I have been inspired every time McCallum has kicked for BC as I recall what happened to him in Regina.
Thanks for adding that link *. I knew what it would be before I clicked it.
Isn’t donating (to your local MP) wheat still against the law in western Canada. The bill has not become law yet, so some joker is facing some serious jail time “donating” wheat outside the CWB process just like Andy McMechin did. http://www.nytimes.com/1997/01/03/world/on-canada-s-prairie-a-farmers-rebellion-flares.html
On that note I propose a toast to Andy McMechin and Freedom. Thank you Andy.
Poor leftists, better hide the poly rope it might be used for some bad things. I would like to know if they are going to pay the cwb freight on that wheat and did they have enough cwb contract for the wheat. Stay out of my pockets and leave my cash alone.
Oh,oh, turns out what looks like poor quality wheat in the picture is actually barley. Cheapskate vandal.

The collectivist commies are pulling out all the stops and taking Ag. Minister Ritz to court again.

I would love the courts to say that a past government can bind a future government. Then the Conservatives can permanently get rid of the gun registry unless 50 % of gun owners want it back.
