What an absolutely delightful Victoria Day Weekend TREAT!!!

Canadians need brass balls. I thought we had them already.

Poor Mark Steyn.
It must be depressing to constantly be telling everyone that the values that built the greatest society humanity has ever known are being thoughtlessly tossed on the garbage heap.
It’s nice that he’s often funny about it … it’s a comfort … but it doesn’t diminish the sadness of the message.
I often wonder why otherwise sensible would do this to themselves, but I never come up with a convincing explanation.
I wish Mark, and others, would address this question more often.
It’s easy, and often fun, to snipe at fools, but what is it that prompts them to be so foolish ?

It seems puzzling how the supposedly smartest, best educated people on the planet can steer into these jackpots. As an example, consider how the ever more highly educated members of the print media slavishly supported every silly educational fad that came along which replaced real achievement standards in primary and secondary schools so that after several generations newspapers that were little more than leftist drivel jammed between multi pages of car ads had nothing going for them to attract newly graduating young people as regular readers.
Perhaps the common thread is that these top people are not stupid, that they are intent on destroying from the inside those institutions that could one day turn around and begin to seriously challenge or obstruct their future plans.

THAT is the question of the times !! The answer, in many cases, in my opinion, is media indoctrination.

Set You Free is right, though sadly I only ever think that way when I’m in an optimistic mood. Other times I just want to shrug it off and accept the end of civilization.

I’m not certain that treating the symptoms – which is what I believe others mean by “resisting” – will cure the disease.
It’s pretty persistent.
It needs to be defined, isolated, and eradicated.
I’d hate to see my kids have to choose between 1984 and barbarism.
If it comes to that, barbarism has at least one thing to recommend it: it is the condition from which the glories of civilization emerged.

The ‘progressive’ agenda is quite simple to understand.
It’s fundamental belief is that humanity can be evolved.
It’s methodology also evolved, from concepts such as eugenics (in which humanity could reach a higher plane through the elimination of those with inferior genes) through the master race theory.
There are several apparitions today and each is indentifiable by its common anti-human theme, since its practitioners consider themselves to be above humanity, which they consider to be stupid.
