“Fallujah pride is like Texas pride”

“His family was killed by Al Qaeda,” a Marine added helpfully. “They were killed because he’s a police officer.”
The Iraqi Police officer nodded.
“He went out all by himself and killed the people who did it,” the Marine said.

  1. RE: the picture of the school girls caption:
School girls walk home by themselves in Fallujah today. Not long ago, no children were out on the streets and schools were not even open
As we say at ITM, baby steps and they’ve a long walk ahead of them, lets hope it continues in this direction. Thanks for this report.
Progress is slow, but so is eating an elephant.

‘Cos that’s what Jeffersonian democracy is all about. Yes, we’re teaching them well.

  3. Well, Lefty, he could always bury his head in the sand and pretend that everything is wonderful like the pinko moonbats advocate. How’s that better?

  4. No,no..you have it all wrong..Lefty would set up a conflict resolution tribunal, where the killers could air their greivances..
They would then be be compensated by the local govt for the suffering they had to endure as root cause, and the day would end with everyone singing the Internationale under a brand new basketball net..
Unfortunately, the family would all still be dead, but look on the brightside!..at least now we would know why they deserved to be killed!

  5. Lefty: Yes, we’re teaching them well.
He killed the enemy during a war. They are Al Qaeda, and he is a police officer tasked with protecting both his family and his city from terrorism.
    What is your beef, exactly?

  6. Michael, Michael, Michael…. he’s probably a Vegan. No beef there. And very little of anything else.
