  3. With respect to Alberta independence, I do believe that within 10 years Alberta and Saskatchewan will be gone from confederation. Add in the Yukon territory and a loose political association with the United States, and there will be a land corridor to Alaska.
    I realize that Danielle Smith needs to be politically savvy and “show” that she is willing to stay in Canada, but the way eastern Canada has treated AB and SK since they joined in 1905, is shameful. I have had to move to Ottawa to be closer to family (it is important to be in the same time zone and geographical area as your executors!). Since I have moved, I try to educate people about the unfairness of the equalization payments and about the West, especially Saskatchewan. The people whom I have met still think the peoples of the west have just fallen off the turnip truck and need to be politically educated by the east.

    1. if Smith ‘feigns’ opposition and keeps ‘making mistakes’ all is forgiven.
      otherwise she is just a variation on a traitor.
      get the blinking H-E-hockey sticks OUT OUT OUT AB, forget all the TEMPORARY downside crapola. think in terms of 2,3,10 generations from now.

    It steals from the citizens – subjects actually – it steals from municipalities, it steals from provinces.
    Carney’s theft to pay a bunch of foreign commies is example #1896.
    Not declaring independence from a fcking malignant parasite is suicide.
