Is Our Diversities Learning?

Watch and wonder.

Previous, in case you missed it yesterday.
Update: Following our story on White City Councillor Shahnaz Sultana, the mayor and council voted to temporarily relieve Sultana of all her additional committee and representative duties. She will still be able to attend council meetings and vote as there are no provisions in the municipal act for impeachment or recall of a councillor.

  1. We’re “progressive” government and we take tax money from the unborn to pay for “racism under new management” training because we can. War is the health of the state and what better place to inspire it than right here at home. Nothing like a civil war to declare another emergency to further enslave the citizenry.

  2. No votes were cast for Sultana’s position on council in White City’s 2024 election as she ran uncontested and became councillor by acclamation.

Uh huh. I’ve touched on this several times – Fed/Provincial Politics is all downhill from municipalities…there are times when it’s reversed (See Andrea Horwath) Apathy ensures grifters and those with mental problems to gladly step in where others can’t be bothered and it’s where they cut their teeth if for no other reason than to see what they can get away with.
Inevitably it shuts out good people like Boschman and before you know it you have a chamber full of effing lunatics and that’s when the fun begins.

    1. “it’s where they cut their teeth if for no other reason than to see what they can get away with.”

It’s in the nature of those from shithole countries to grift.

  3. From yesterday-s post
“Shahnaz works as a Social Entrepreneur”
    “Spark founder Shahnaz Sultana”
I know Shahnaz Sultana is originally from Bangladesh but did she stop off in Somalia on her way to Canada?

  4. Is she speaking English? Or some dialect of Pig Bangladeshi English? Cause I don’t detect a single coherent thought in anything she said.

If subterfuge was a distinct dialect … she’s speaking it.

  5. Where did the money come from for those grifters to borrow from the child care center that doesn’t seem to exist? or for that matter to buy the house that the center is supposedly located at? (some $615k)

    1. I think the story on how White City was named may be somewhat glossy… I grew up in Regina, Sask (the city which rhymes with fun) and my understanding from when I was a kid is, it was founded by people wanting to have large homes without paying City of Regina sized taxes. All the homes I’ve seen out there were larger than the average Regina size house, and originally with 2x or larger sized lots as well. I enjoyed working out there (plumber/gasfitter) as the land was very sandy and construction with any amount of digging to bury a pipe was quite a bit easier than city work.

All the town council seats were acclaimed and they only had a mayoralty election, so it’s a bit of easy work if you’re needing to bill someone for “work” and not actual work.
It does appear that someone in their civic gov’t may have taken funds they weren’t entitled to.

  6. We are moving away from being a high trust society. The cost will be new laws; in this case a recall law would be helpful. Laws that will complicate the lives of councilors.

  7. Globalism is where all the jobs in your town migrate to the Third World and all the Third World migrates to your town.
