The Telegraph- The devastating memo that plunged the BBC into crisis

The document, written by former journalist Michael Prescott and sent to the BBC board, exposes a string of incidents that demonstrate serious apparent bias in the corporation’s reporting. They include evidence that BBC Panorama “doctored” a speech by Donald Trump to make it wrongly appear as though he directly called for violence on the day that his supporters stormed the US Capitol.

Armstrong Economics- The BBC Scandal Demonstrates Maybe Bigger than Watergate

What the BBC has done with their doctoring a speech by Trump that aired a week before the 2024 presidential election, made him appear to encourage the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. This was deliberate FAKE NEWS in an attempt to influence the election. I believe this a CRIME!!

National Post- BBC a case study in how liberal media loses trust

Last month, the BBC apologized for committing a “serious breach” of broadcasting rules when it failed to disclose that the 13 year-old subject of its documentary, “Gaza: How to Survive a Warzone,” was the son of a Hamas official.

Spiked- The BBC has gone full Pravda

Broadcast just a week before the presidential election in November 2024, it shows Trump in January 2021 saying: ‘We’re going to walk down to the Capitol and I’ll be there with you and we fight. We fight like hell. [If] you don’t fight like hell, you’re not gonna have a country anymore.’

There was only one problem: Trump didn’t say that. The BBC spliced together two entirely different remarks from Trump, made 54 minutes apart,

  1. As much as we may wish it was true, it ain’t “devastating” and it aint a “crisis”.

    1. Exactly

      Not devastating,
      not a crisis,
no one in the BBC cares,
no one in Starmer’s government cares.

In fact, the BBC management will probably get raises and honours from Starmer

  2. What many on the Right don’t understand is that the Left will do everything to win the civil war.
Lie, cheat, steal and murder – easy peasy
I don’t doubt that torture, internment camps and slavery are on the horizon if these c*nts sieze total power.
Propaganda is easy for them as killing fetuses or offing people with depression.

  3. Gaza: How to Survive a Warzone,” was the son of a Hamas official.

Well yeah, the best way to survive a warzone like Gaza is to go whoring in Kuwait.

  4. LMAO…there is going to be a lawsuit. That has been the MO of this second term. The first term was a lot of whining about “fake news.” This term has been all about repercussions.

We should have a pool to guess the initial demand. I’m going to start with $12 Billion. And, before you eye roll that one away, consider that in September Trump suggested that he was going to sue the NY Times for $15 Billion. And, guess who the primary reporting party was on that claim.

  5. Trump should STOP calling journalists “Fake News”! That’s below the dignity of the office!

Oh wait! That’s EXACTLY what it is … FAKE NEWS. Imaginary, make-believe, deliberately-deceitful News fakery. Nevermind. Trump was right … again.

  6. We certainly wouldn’t want to burden the BBC or Canadian media for that matter with the need for ethics and objectivity.

  7. Al Beeb has done this before – A press conference during covid, where they took a shot of Trump saying something (may have been the bit about bleach or light as possible treatments) and a team member (Dr. Birx IIRC) rolling her eyes in obvious disbelief. Except as this with this, it was a splice of two different bits of the presser, her reaction was to someone else and came long after Trump had left the stage.
