I feel a little sorry for the poor a.i. program being forced to slog through all those reddit threads.
David Clinton- Are Violent Threats Common in Canada’s Online World?
…there are definitely busy pockets of over-the-top and dangerous social media discussions here in Canada. They’re by no means the norm, but we can’t say things are in any way under control.
So most of the invective is directed towards people who some felt stabbed us in the back. Most likely they were blowing off steam. No biggie.
This kind of thing is why I obfuscate all my comments anymore. I wish harm to none, but LLMs are stupid and can make stuff up.
#WatchYourSix. See how that works?
Ohhhhhhhhh mommmaaaaaa … that’s “hate speech”. Isn’t that illegal in Canada? Ohhhhh … it’s only illegal if a “far-right agitator” … like some Christian minstrel … speaks his “hurtful” “hate” messages at the people who believe … Love is Love.
All those posts are … Love. Because they come from the “moderate” left.
Christian minstrel…that’s funny.
The New Christy Minstrels! Oh wait … that’s not what I said.

Well at least they’re “green”
Named after Christy’s Minstrels, a blackface group from the 1800s.
At least the “new” minstrels were white, heck, they even looked white bread.
Green green. This Land, ad nauseum…
I’m told there was a band in San Francisco in hippy times called the New Crusty Nostrils. Can’t vouch for it, always liked it too much to check.
Reddit is the mild one, unfortunately.
Not sure I’d consider an AI analysis ‘valid’, as it seems to me that AI has inherent biases and can be
narrative based. Very disturbing when you don’t know what to believe, and may not be able to believe
what you see.
