That takes the cake for go woke, go broke, 5 weeks, lol. The smell can hardly be contemplated, although not worse than Pakistan or India, because it is not possible.

So, the trespassing laws of Paris carry a 15,000 EU fine as well as a 1 year prison term. The owner of the theater (aptly called, Paris’s Socialist-led council) refuses to press charges because ” it’s unthinkable to throw people out on the street in the middle of winter.”

And, yet, only 70% of the theater’s revenue comes from (now cancelled) ticket sales. 30% comes from subsidies. Which means, the government has a 30% stake in the theater’s success. By association, the French taxpayer has a 30% interest in the theater’s operation.

To add to the issue, the Algerian restaurant right next door has seen a huge reduction in customers because the theater is not in operation, and the vagrants inhabiting the theater hang out on the street smoking dope and fighting. This turns the passersby away from the restaurant as well.

In summary, a crowd of 300+ lawbreakers are taking advantage of the theater owner. The theater owner is taking advantage of the taxpayer and nearby businesses. The law enforcement is refusing to do their job. The government is refusing to direct a solution and is abusing their constituents. The Paris constituent is apathetic in forcing a solution from their representatives and law enforcement. Additionally, the constituent voted these people into their positions. So, no real victims, but, a heaping helping of just desserts.
