Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

What “Parks”?
Half of Toronto’s parks are drug dens already.

It’s talk like this that means I will vote for Poilievre, many times. If, like Trump, he follows through after election.
Though I wonder how long before the “Conservative” Party of Canada turfs him.
This is a good issue to focus on. Go Pierre!
Question is… WILL he follow through?
We’ve heard the cons make promises, like for example, cutting funding from the CBC, many times, only to fall flat when the rubber actually meets the road.

With you on that one…I’ll believe it when I see it.
I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but Poilievre has already done (and not done) several things to make me question his motives.
That was a breath of fresh air, particularly when he challenged the reporter on the definitions and usage of language. I believe that he understands a bit about cultural Marxism.
Yup. A Canadian politician now cowed by the press. I think I have seen everything.
He must have hit a nerve.
The liberals are in high dudgeon over this and doubling down on how these sites save lives.
The question I like to ask in response is, what’s a safe dose of fentanyl for recreational use?
This little spat was picked up by both Global and CTV. Their angle is that PM Barbie’s gov helped prevent overdoses with these drug dens. BS excuse, if they cared about life in general they wouldn’t have pushed for MAID.
They work so well. That’s why overdoses have dropped so dramatically in BC….
I’m gonna assume that a /sarc tag was missing from that comment.
Government drug dens are used by our national socialist NDP/Liberal party to increase every kind of social problem just like all their other policies.
Addiction, violence, theft, death, etc. it’s all good for the leftists at election time, they’ll tell voters that they have empathy and that’s why they should keep doing the same thing over and over again.
Very nasty people on the “empathetic” left…
“Harm reduction” is another misuse of words…..if they were honest, they would call it “Harm continuation”.
Harm extension.
Harm diffusion.
Harm inclusion.
Harm exploitation. Each new day of deaths funds another pension.
This is what happens when you leave your problem to “the experts”. Even BC abandoned their drug decriminalization program.
https://the-peak.ca/2024/06/bcs-decision-to-recriminalize-drugs-makes-a-bad-problem-worse/
“Harm reduction ideologies recognize that addiction is not a moral failing but a result of larger social and economic structures. In practice, harm reduction shifts the focus from punishment and abstinence to compassion, support, and safe pharmaceutical alternatives. Most importantly, harm reduction practices treat people who use drugs as people, first and foremost. This is extremely relevant given the stigma around people who use drugs and the social connotations of being criminalized.”
Only it doesn’t. You can’t just give people easier access to drugs while ignoring their mental health issues. This is worse than punishing them because it leads to greater drug use. How the experts can’t understand this is astounding. Take the mentally ill people off the street, take away their drugs and get them help. Allowing them unrestricted access to drugs only increases their drug use. You have to be a dope not to see this.
It’s called “enabling.”
Listen to vivafrei’s recent vlog on Rumble to hear the effects of a new injection site on just one area of Montreal near the Atwater market.
The goal of injection sites is destruction of people and communities.
It is absurd that if a drug addict goes to seek help, they are told there is a 6 month wait to get into rehab. Money would be better spent addressing this issue.
Safe injection = Another government program to abuse.. Everybody involved in the graft will tell you what you want to hear..

Doesn’t even matter what the supreme Court says anyway. Parliament can override their garbage opinions and should do so on a regular basis under a poliviere government.
