  3. I remember this show when I was a kid; too young to watch or appreciate it then. I never liked Hawaii 5 0, and liked it even less when I joined a similar job. I always hated the line, “Book him, Dano! Murder 1”! If I were Dano, I’d have snarled in reply, “Book him yourself, you lazy bastard! He’s your pinch, and the Chief Super is starting to complain about it”!

          Thus inviting their own destruction. If the Palestinians really want peace, the solution is very simple. You just spelled it out. Unfortunately, peace isn’t in the Palestinians’ agenda. I think we all know what they really want. Do I really have to say it?

  8. Meanwhile, CBC writer Aaron Wherry, one of the many Trudeau shine-boys at the Ceeb, repeats the many Trudeau-Guilbeault talking points in attacking the PBO carbon price study:

    Aaron “Liberal” Wherry makes two whopper-falsehoods in this missive:

    1. he claims the Parliamentary Budget Office made a mistake (he regurgitates a PMO attack line here) by including the industry carbon tax along with the fuel carbon tax, as to how both affect the household sector, after the household sector gets the rebate. But basic graduate-school economics says one should include the industrial tax along with the fuel tax. Yes, the corporate sector pays the industry tax. But the corporate sector will then pass part of the tax through commodity price changes and wage-employment changes.

    2. he claims that the environmental “benefits” from the tax, accruing to Canadians, should be included in the PBO calculations. Let’s for the moment not discuss whether or not increased carbon emissions are increasing global temperatures. A posted SDA article of a few days ago showed that global energy production is increasing rapidly, and ALL of that increase can be explained by the sharp increase in coal-fired energy produced in India and China. Carbon emissions in Canads have increased slightly in Canada (driven by Trudeau’s crazed immigration policies), and in the U.S, emissions have declined (due to Obama-Biden deindustrialization). So no matter what Canads does, world carbon emissions will still continue to rise. All Aaron Wherry does here is to regurgitate Trudeau’s speeches in saying that our carbon tax is “reducing” carbon in the air. It’s not.
