Involuntary Megaslaughter

National Review:

Loay Alnaji, a computer science professor at Ventura County Community College, was arrested Thursday morning and charged with involuntary manslaughter after he was involved in a deadly confrontation with pro-Israel demonstrator Paul Kessler.

In early November, Kessler died of his wounds following “a physical altercation with counter-protestor(s),” in Los Angeles, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement afterward. “During the altercation, Kessler fell backward and struck his head on the ground. The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death to be blunt force head injury and the manner of death homicide,” the statement continued.[…]

“We are devastated to learn of the tragic death of an elderly Jewish man who was struck in the head by a megaphone wielded by a pro-Palestinian protestor in Westlake Village.”

  1. We have this same BS problem in Australia. If you deliberately knock somebody over and they hit their head on the hard concrete, why is that not manslaughter straight up? Involuntary my foot. If you push someone over a cliff can you blame the rocks at the bottom as the cause of death?

  2. Well. Involuntary may be easier to prove than voluntary, making it easier to send the Hamas bootlicker to prison for a while to contemplate his folly.

But I suppose we’re supposed to be grateful that he didn’t get a medal for making an example of the Jew Paul Kessler. Sad to say, his family probably are.

May God avenge Paul Kessler’s death. We can hardly count on American justice to do that.

  3. The megaphone just wasn’t loud enough. Can hardly blame the poor thing, the damn Jew just wasn’t listening. Can he be charged posthumously for the hate crime of Islamophobia?

    1. I must say I was shocked to see Jake Tapper do a vid on the Hamas rape attacks on Jewish women on October 7th. The stories told were disgusting. I hope every Pali man has a swab taken and if found, skinned alive.

    1. I can never help thinking of the SCTV skit where Mrs Falbo visits the penitentiary and teaches them about man’s laughter when one of the inmates mentions that’s what he’s doing time for. Absolute comedy gold!

  4. If you attack someone with a mega phone in your hand and he dies how is that involuntary? His actions caused the death thus shouldn’t he be charged with Murder?

    1. The difference in law is whether the intended action was purposed to kill. If you can’t prove lethal intent you risk losing, so you go for the better odds of proving the lesser charge.

      1. Makes more sense to charge him with both voluntary and involuntary manslaughter and let the jury sort it out. George Floyd died of an overdose in custody and the cop got 30 years for murder. I guess the thought must be Jews had it coming.
