Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

If Hillary were president that would read: “China offers donation to Clinton Foundation to avert trade war with U.S.”
The chicoms just said uncle.
there is a new sheriff in town.
…not really. It’s much more subtle than that. China and the US share a common enemy…the Caliphate. China’s president had a ring-side seat, and was likely ‘in-the-loop’ on how the US will deal with uppity sand-niggers who get out of line. The implications of that wouldn’t be lost on the Chinese. Trump didn’t have to threaten the Chinese to get the point across; making them confidantes was far more effective. The important point in this announcement is that the outcome of the first meeting with China’s leader is an agreement to move forward on a significant issue – trade. Compare that with what came out of the first meeting with Canada’s leader – an insignificant agreement on wymmins issues. On important matters like resources and trade, I expect that Trump will deal directly with premiers like Brad Wall, and he will continue to ignore Trudy on matters of importance.
Agreed. You put it much more succinctly than I
They have to do more than beef and investment. Since everything in China is bogus, I suspect there won’t be a big demand for anything other than 100% investments. Whatever is done, the trade disparity must disappear. 2015’s $116 billion to $482 billion simply doesn’t cut it. How many promises does Trump want to break. He seems hell bent on dragging the US into another Middle Eastern war, despite promising not to do so.
The best solution to Middle East problems is arming Assad. Obama was nurturing liberal democracies in the Middle East. I am a bit more pragmatic.

Don’t mind UnoMe, he supports any regime that is hostile to the west, especially China with it’s well documented human rights abuses and cheap Sweat Shop labor.
As far as the ME, it’s always been about leaving western borders open to the worlds terrorists, pedophiles, and other human rights abusers for these guys.
Social anarchists or whatever flavor this century, western society will be forced to do something about it eventually.
