Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Ouch! She understands? Not f-ing likely.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAA!
Love it!
Low IQ eye candy nothing more, gochyad by the well spoken refugee. That had to hurt, that sneering president of the Clinton Nut Nibbler Network will deal harshly with her.
I think her soother is lemon flavoured, no sweetener.
Pucker factor 8, Mr. Sulu?
“Network will deal harshly with her.”
The boys at the network are boning her … not the Syrian. It just upped the BJ count.
Cutie just got wrench thrown in her gears.
I like the guy’s comment that not all Syrians want to move to another Country.
The condescending progressives believe that everyone just wants to come to America and eat at McDougal’s, glad this fellow straightened out that idea.
And calling Hillary a hypocrite,priceless!
Putin’s sending a missile cruiser to the region to save face.If Trump knows the history of post WW2, he won’t flinch.
My wife shared this video on Facebook.
This fellow didn’t fall for the fake news BS and laid it on the line for her, calling out the inaction and cowardice of Clinton, Obama and others.
All the above.
Three cheers for that fellow for calling out the liberal progressive hypocritical scum.
According to the so called purveyors of truth Obama could do nothing wrong and Trump can do nothing right .They are not give up their positions in the swamp easily. What they don’t realize is their absurd behaviour is making him stronger .
If Hillary wants to save the babies, then stop aborting them.
Well there goes Susan Rice’s assertion that 100% of Assad’s chemical weapons have been destroyed…under treaty agreement.
Syrian Chemical Weapons Destruction: Taking Stock and Looking Ahead
https://www.armscontrol.org/ACT/2014_12/Features/Syrian-Chemical-Weapons-Destruction-Taking-Stock-And-Looking-Ahead
As of October 20, according to the OPCW, almost 98 percent of Syria’s declared stockpile of 1,308 metric tons of sulfur mustard agent and precursor chemicals had been destroyed in four countries and on board the MV Cape Ray, a U.S. Merchant Marine vessel uniquely outfitted in late 2013 to neutralize about half of the stockpile. The success of this disarmament effort, spearheaded by the OPCW and the United Nations in a unique joint mission, represents a historic breakthrough in establishing a world free of chemical weapons, in strengthening the CWC and the OPCW, and in building momentum toward accession to the treaty by Egypt and Israel, the two remaining nonmembers in the Middle East.
Evidently, one is to assume that somehow sarin nerve agent was somehow left off the agreement table…!
https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2017/04/sarin-syria-assad-chemical-nazi/522039/
Sarin, along with other nerve agents like Tabun and Soman, was first produced in Germany’s famous I.G. Farben factory in October 1938 by chemist Gerhard Schrader and his team—quite by accident. Schrader and company stumbled upon the agent in the process of trying to develop a pesticide that targeted an insect’s nervous system. When Schrader himself came into contact with the liquid, he and his team were incapacitated for nearly a month. (The word sarin is an acronym for the names of the four scientists who developed it.) Later, the Nazi government told Schrader to forget about insects and focus on weaponizing sarin as soon as possible. Despite the Nazis’ chemical-weapons advantage, Hitler decided not to use them against Allied forces, for reasons unclear.
Sarin gas; so bad even the Nazis never used it…

Hillary is just as vile as ever, only now, a little more drunk.
He did have some great points …. to bad she was not supportive of his praise of Trump. The Clinton News Network (CNN) is not pleased
I like his point. I tagreed with what most of us here on SDA believe, that refugees don’t want to be ripped out of their homes, they want to return to them.
Not sure that responding to fake news is the way to do it, but this man made his point very eloquently.
Doubleplusthumbsup!
Hans, here is my take.
Gulf War I was justifieed and laudable. It should have been continued to its logical conclusion but RINOs like Colin Powell pulled the punch and so, the unfinished business had to be finished.
Except, this time, justification was harder to find, hence rediculous claims of WMD. Of course, Sadam (I nearly wrote Hussein but it would have confused people with Obomber, another enemy of USA) had such weapons, oison gas.
This was hidden in advance of the Americans. ISIS was formed by many of Sadam’s Baathists, they were minority Suuni in a Shiite majority. ISIS, and even the so-called moderate opposition would have no compuction to use these to get America to bomb their opposition. Agreed, nor would Assad, but he would be stupid to do so, no gain for him.

Watch CNN start to vet all Syrian “victims” prior to being accepted for on-air interviews.
This won’t happen again.
(paraphrased)
‘Mr President Trump; what you did was amazing, it gave us hope.’
Nope,,, not gonna see that on CNN again without someone getting canned.
Soros has probably already sent out the Memo, nothing stops my beautiful destabilizing refugee crisis! Can’t have some Syrian national wanting to stay home in safety;
Nope,,, can’t have that.
Ha! The look on her face with those disapprovingly pursed lips is priceless. She looks like she just bit into a lemon. Not one named Don, either.
You can see the moment when she realizes he doesn’t buy into her stupid political agenda. “So, Mr. Syrian Guy living in war-zone hell, don’t you think the main thing is how much Hillary and Obama’s agenda was so much much better for you, and isn’t that mean old Trump is a nasty man?” She started looking down at her notes, doing her mechanical soothing noises as she totally disengages from him and what he’s saying.
The 2003 invasion was a continuation of the 1991 war. There was never a declaration of peace, only a ceasefire. That was contingent upon Saddam Hussein living up to the conditions of the ceasefire. There was a string of UN resolutions between 91 and 03 imploring Iraq to live up to the conditions of the ceasefire.
It’s a shame they can’t do the pre-interview thing like they do for the late night talk shows. My heart goes out to this progressive hottie. This could have all been avoided. Sad.
As someone already alluded to, I’ll bet that all Syrians booked for CNN interviews will now be vetted first. Hypocrites!
Ha, anybody who still watches CNN to get their news is an uninformed, ignorant, propagandized leftard zombie.
Do those who are applauding the US intervention want more entanglement in the Middle East? I recall Iraqis being interviewed before the US decided to go after Sadam Hussein. They enthusiastically claimed that the US would be hailed as liberators and the local radio pundit promoted that POV, which he has since recanted. After the Iraq fiasco, does the US need another ME misadventure?
“…Despite the Nazis’ chemical-weapons advantage, Hitler decided not to use them against Allied forces, for reasons unclear.”
In the Great War the Germans had used gas first, and the Allies then used gas on the Germans. Chemical weapons aren’t a good idea if the other side has the capability, too. Hitler was gassed in the trenches and he just didn’t want to start that again.
See how rotten, scheming and powerful the current US administration is? Trump managing to plant one of his people as a phony Syrian! They’ll stop at nothin’, I tell ya!
Unome unavailable for comment……….
Bingo Gabby in QC. Yeah I remember those Iraqi interviews. And the newly minted purple-fingered Jacksonian democrats in Iraq.
Juxtaposition:
– Communism is a terrific system: it’s just that the wrong people were running it.
– Foreign (esp. ME) intervention is a great idea: it’s just that we’ve not had the right people doing it, at least since 1945.
But Trump, whose primary platform was staying the hell out of the middle east because no one knows — least of all the stupid American ruling class – what the fkuc is going on there – is gonna get ‘er done. Yes siree Bob, Trump means business; no pussyfooting around.
And then he’s gonna solve the insoluble Israel-Arab conflict.
And NO, Gulf War 1 wasn’t a good idea either. It’s all of a piece.
And, really, on very very fake news CNN why do we accept this “Syrian refugee” at face value.
And why does his opinion count?
*
to quote kate… “another day, another akbar”…
“At least 38 people have been killed following two suspected suicide bombings
at Coptic Christian services, Egypt’s state television reported.”
*
The thing to remember about the DemocRats is that they are quite happy to allow Assad to gas his own people as often as he likes, if it forwards their own goals back home.
The Dems will allow Syria to be depopulated entirely, to win an election. They really, really will. Think back to the Cuban Missile Crisis, when Kennedy was playing chicken with nuclear war to get a leg up on the Republicans.
“And, really, on very very fake news CNN why do we accept this “Syrian refugee” at face value.
And why does his opinion count?”
Because if he was one of -their- fakes, he’d be making them look good.
CNN: Our view of vetting Syrian refugees is evolving.
Somebody was a asleep at the wheel, usually they cut the feed, I guess that have been called on that so often now they stopped doing it.
“Despite the Nazis’ chemical-weapons advantage, Hitler decided not to use them against Allied forces, for reasons unclear. ”
It’s probably because it never made a difference in any WWI battle but ruined the health of hundreds of thousands of common soldiers. The allies, including Canada, used as much or more gas than the Germans.
Oh look CNN, your butt was just served to you on a platter.
For some reason Me No Dhimmi & Scar I feel using my Comment for “King And Country will fit in the Thread. Possibly not it is quite Long and may not be acceptable for this Reason.
Ken; thanks! Your summary of events helps place the Sacrifice within the context of history and if I may within the evolution of civilization.
As I have mentioned here before; My Grandfather Henry Albert Michelin was not present at Vimy Ridge. He received a ” blimey wound” in one of the first Canadian over-the-top excursions in February 1915.
Being wounded with a gunshot in His left shoulder above His Heart provided a return to England for recovery. The action He faced at Ypres was “to the Front for Trench Training” of three Days return to base, then to the front and over-the-top to attack the Boche.
Battalion Commander- Birchal was killed in the same Lincoln-Welland Regiment as when Henry Albert Michelin at the age of 42 was Wounded. His was one of the “lucky” of the Linky-Winks; as in a recent over-the-top, “might have been the next one” the Boche used Mustard Gas against the Noire Troops from Northern Africa and the other Colonial Troops.
Several of My Grandfather’s “Mates” were gassed and among the Survivors spent their remaining days with seriously damaged lungs and crippling Respiratory Disease.
My Wife and I have the pleasure and advantage to be closing out the Winter with a week’s stay in Bermuda. I have listed below an excerpt of Bermuda’s 1620 Governor Butler speech in the Second Parliament of the Comonwealth; Bermuda. This small gathering of a small population on an outpost of the British Empire, which remains a vibrant Community 400 years later is as follows;
Fourthly, we are to endeauour and aime at the good and benefitt of our selues in perticuler I meane at the generall good and wellfare of the inhabitants of thes Ilands wherein we liue: and herein, in the first place, we are to provide against the attempts of all forraigne enemies, by secureing our harbours, and places of access by botes or shypinnge: and this is done by sufficient fortification, and well manning of them, as also by makeing, of our selues in generall to vnderstand how to defend ourselues, that is to saye, to be soldiers: otherwise, I see not with what comfort we can plant tobacco, and take paines to make it good (as we ought to doe) vnless we prouide to keep it when we haue it. Me thincks, that euery married man that hath a childe borne to him here should (if it were but for his childs sake) be ready to keepe it a freeman:
and ther is noe earthly meanes to doe it better than this. It may be, some of you conceiue and flatter yourselues that all thinges this waye are well ynough already, and that ther needs nor more to be done than ther is. It is a deceitfull and dangerous apprehension this: and you doe noe lesse than betraye yourselues and your owne safetye by it.
I have kept the writing as it appears, both in spelling and as one paragraph(?) If there are people who are bothered, please remember in the 1600’s and for while later U & V were interchangeable as was the addition of E’s as felt desirous.
Pare itself was expensive and especially in outposts such as Bermuda; therefore separation between thoughts being conveyed seldom had room to provide Such.
I do hope some, hopefully at least one will forward the “Bermuda Encouragement” by Governor Nathaniel Butler in 1620 as some impetus to Canada’s present Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to not diminish the Sacrifice of the Families of the 600,000 Men who fought in World War One. Represnting approximately 20 % of the Families in the overall Canadian Population of Six Million Citizens.
It is also important to explain to Trudeau 2nd; in case it is not evident trying to Govern By Fiat as did Trudeau 1st; with suborning the “Human Rights of the Individual” in the still not accepted 1981-1982 Constitution. Canada and the rest of the Free World will no longer accept FIAT “let it be done” pronouncements.
Canadians respect the Authority of a Constitutional Monarchy, as the necessary Final Arbiter in the, at least presently in Canada’s Political Arena, Final Arbiter. Whether Canada’s Final Arbiter rests in the British Isles or in the Geographical Territory known a Canada. Canada’s Federal Cabinet have not been selected to Move Canada towards “Nations without Borders”.
Brexit for Canada; from it’s present Internal Borders; is not yet the Path of Resistance to A Manipulative Control Pattern by an Elected Representation and/or an Aggressive Bureaucracy increasingly moving to a “ology” of We Know Better Than You.
Oh, how embarrassing.
That patronising host must be humiliated.
Personally … I much prefer THIS Syrian’s recommended solution for the Refugee problem than … HER’s … or Obama’s … or our State Dept.’s. STAY in your OWN country !
The biggest message from the strike was the unspoken one: don’t make come over there again/ my other bombs are nuclear.
Another CNN interview gone wrong. This gentleman told the truth, which didn’t fit CNN’s anti Trump agenda. I like how he said he didn’t want to move, and he didn’t want to be a refugee. Trump lets you know where you stand, whereas the Democrats played both sides badly.
And now we have to clean-up the horrific mess left behind by our former Nobel Peace Prize “awarded” President. Zero’s Gulf War-0 … has spawned worldwide WAR by his Muzlimm JV team. It should be noted that JV teams are primarily made up of High School Sophomores … just like Zero’s Sophomoric view of world conflict. Yeah … if we are just “nice” to the Muzlimbs … they’ll be “nice” to US. How’d that work out for Zero and HER in Benghazi ? How’s Libya looking today ? As a Zero-liberated Muzzlimb land ?
Trump immediately won plaudits from Official Washington, especially from neoconservatives who have been trying to wrestle control of his foreign policy away from his nationalist and personal advisers since the days after his surprise victory on Nov. 8.
There is also an internal dispute over the intelligence. On Thursday night, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said the U.S. intelligence community assessed with a “high degree of confidence” that the Syrian government had dropped a poison gas bomb on civilians in Idlib province.
But a number of intelligence sources have made contradictory assessments, saying the preponderance of evidence suggests that Al Qaeda-affiliated rebels were at fault, either by orchestrating an intentional release of a chemical agent as a provocation or by possessing containers of poison gas that ruptured during a conventional bombing raid.
One intelligence source told me that the most likely scenario was a staged event by the rebels intended to force Trump to reverse a policy, announced only days earlier, that the U.S. government would no longer seek “regime change” in Syria and would focus on attacking the common enemy, Islamic terror groups that represent the core of the rebel forces.
[…]
Though Bannon and Kushner are often presented as rivals, the source said, they shared the belief that Trump should tell the truth about Syria, revealing the Obama administration’s CIA analysis that a fatal sarin gas attack in 2013 was a “false-flag” operation intended to sucker President Obama into fully joining the Syrian war on the side of the rebels — and the intelligence analysts’ similar beliefs about Tuesday’s incident.

emphaisis at source
How about the possibility it was a false flag operation?
There is some evidence http://classicalvalues.com/2017/04/the-latest-fake/
BTW bombing Syria objectively helps ISIS.
Hans,
Well it is quite possible Assad destroyed all his chemical weapons.
