How is it that our doofus PM is even worse than the Turd?? I’m more and more convinced that either the election was rigged or voters are idiots or some combination thereof!

Perhaps I am “Nora Naive”, but just stop spending money which you do not have! Stop all the monies given to corporations “hoping” that they will stay in Canada; stop with all of the foreign aid (Canada is poor, this is borrowed money); stop supporting supply management in agriculture and radically cut back the number of agencies (and their staff) within government.
Cut government at all levels by 50% this year, then 50% next year until the books are in order. Revisit all programs and toss the ones that are useless or shouldn’t be in the hands of government.
But how would they ever expand their bureaucracy empire if they listened to you?
While we’re at it. No more new regulations without cutting five old ones.
Trash the carbon tax, no veto for indigenous, no favourable sentencing for indigenous, no favourable sentencing for refugee applicants. I could go on……. Find those scheduled for deportation and deport them, no appeals!
Legally, all groceries are taxed under the GST/HST. Some are just 0%.
There are so many potential ways to solve problems like this, but they all start with the same initial action: REDUCE the size of the government bureaucracy. First thing. Any other action you take will be pointless if you don’t start with the very root of the problem.
The worst part about giving taxpayers some tax money back is that the ba$tard$ stole it from us in the first place!

The CRA employs one asshole for every 677 Canadians.

Actually it’s worse than that. The IRS employs one person for every 3,500 Americans.
But it’s hard to compare the two. The CRA has broader responsibilities, including provincial income taxes and the GST. Further, recent cuts in the IRS may have been too deep. The upcoming tax season might be a disaster for them.
Except Québec where the MRQ handles it all. The MRQ is notorious for using the Québec fines schedule for federal infractions. That’s why I would make sure foreign clients get GST registered federally before registering for the QST. The MRQ always wanted to get them completely under its umbrella. Offering to register them for both GST and QST was the trap it used
Vote buying is a tried-and-true way to buy votes and stay in power. The liberals are particularly good at it.
