The Deep State, governments and the media world wide pushed “the science” and the sheeple cheered it on and ratted out neighbors and friends. There probably would have been lynchings if suddenly legalized and promoted.
The video clip of Biden’s “well SOB he got fired” should have been the moment the media should have been blowing the lib off this. But alas they had been too emotionally invested in the talking point that because Russia was the bad guy, then anyone they associate with Putin is just as bad. Rather than seeing both sides of the conflict as corrupted even before the USSR went broke.
Corruption is baked in as war is waste and scarcity is a given. The maggots always infest a rotting corpse. Every country the west has tried to save has been corrupted and corroded. Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Iraq, Libya, Vietnam, Russia Etc et.
What the west is spending or giving to the Ukraine is literally Pennie’s on the dollar considering what a full up confrontation would cost Europe and North America. So it is money well spent.

I wonder if they have even bothered to delete from the interwebs all of the old articles about Zaluzhny giving free apartments and cars to his multiple girlfriends and estates in southern Europe to his relatives, while he was head of the Ukrainian military.

You have to love how Canadians and Americans think their corruption is so much less than Ukraine. The Ukraine gets 10 times the bang for the buck than perpetually corrupt western militaries. The US gave Ukraine very little cash. They were given worn out military equipment pulled out of the desert and munitions approaching their best before date. Most of the aid cost the US absolutely nothing.

But then the Americans had to pay to *replace* that equipment with new stuff, which is where the real money went. The defence contractors were obviously among the most enthusiastic promoters of the Ukrainian war.
