  1. Re: the Canadian dollar, “I don’t think we match the South African government for corruption but we certainly more than match them in economic incompetence.”

The author may be surprised to find out that we may be catching up to or on par with the level of SA corruption. We’re just in the early stages where the politicians and bureaucrats are just trying to hide it still.

In SA they just don’t care about whether or not people know it’s going on, they don’t bother trying to hide it because everyone knows, including their “normies”.

Canada needs a fork in it.

    1. Keep seeing articles in the US that Canadians are boycotting the US due to Trump.
I’m sure the nifty exchange rate has nothing to do with it.

I live right across the border where when the exchange rate was at par you couldn’t find a parking place at COSTCO, Walmart, Target etc. because of the Alberta and BC license plate vehicles. Today, very, very few any more.

We used to have 3,000 Canadian property owners in our County. Last I looked we were under 1,000. COVID did a lot of that and Trudeau screwed that one up too.

      1. John, one other reason is the property tax increases levied by your county on “resort” properties, for want of a better word. My wife’s family owns a cabin property in the area, the assessment this year was 50%! over last year. I have a friend who just sold his cabin on Foys Lake because he couldn’t justify the near 5 figure tax increase. It was purchased by some guy from California.

  2. Victor Davis Hanson – Tucker’s missteps.

Who do you think you are? I doubt Tucker Carlson needs your advice on anything other than maybe a 1000 word highly nuanced essay on why the barn door should’ve been closed before the horse ran out. I had to read this several times because I seriously couldn’t believe what I was reading, and this from VDH of all people which makes me wonder whose water is he carrying today?
I remember this sort of panty twisting over the likes of Enoch Powell. If you heard the howels of protest over the Dick Cavett/Enoch Powell interview you’d think humanity itself was coming to an end.
So, I think everybody was shocked, disappointed that Tucker didn’t use those skills with somebody as reprehensible as Fuentes. And I think they hope that he will in the future.

Oh ok Vic. I’m sure forgetting that your pal William Buckley had David Duke on as a guest on his show Firing Line was just a small oversight on your part.

    1. Amusing that a court jester like Nick Fuentes would be given such consequence by both sides all of a sudden.

    2. The unacceptable speech and views of Fuentes are spreading, so I commend Tucker for having Fuentes on. Fuentes has a massive audience of zeds and they’re out in the street in places like Dearborn yesterday. Engage with Fuentes or his WANGHAF army will become a generation of lost white boy thugs.

      1. The regular folks in the UK and other Euro countries would find a lot of white boy thugs handy to have around.

    1. The courts accept so-called native “oral history” as historical fact. The end of reason. Next we’ll be taking animals to courst and using ducking-stools.

  3. I love how a couple of seemingly honest politicians naturally excommunicated from the electable parties can send all the useful idiots of the grievance industry into such a tither over the state-sanctioned lies of “murdered students” of their favorite prop, the Indian Residential Schools.

  4. There is no such thing as a “metis nation”; and in BC? Did any metis go to a residential school? Time for the freeloaders to be called out.

  5. You don’t make fun of race? Shucky darn, you should and otta make fun of everything! Victor Davis is a nice little old guy but none the less often a nattering little old guy. Having said that I still find much of what he says well worth consideration ditto Tucker and many others.

& calling him an old guy? It takes one to know one, I’m more than a decade older than him.
