The flu vaccine is issued for what they PREDICT will be the most dominant strain that year, it doesn’t always work out that way, if it did, I’d be a little concerned, esp after the COVID shenanigans!
As an anecdote; I had two aunts living in Alberta, the one always got their flu shot and was always sick, the other never got one and fared well during the flu season, maybe the odd one, but of little concern.

There is another darker side to this pushing the flu jab so hard while also saying it might not work. If you follow the research of dissident scientists like Geert Vanden Bossche, Peter McCollough, Philip McMillan and others, the jab has severely compromised the immune systems of anyone who had the jab and particularly those who had the first and additional boosters. The more boosters the worst the effect. They (especially Geert Vanden Bossche) have been predicting a mass die off of mRNA multi jabbed individuals due to immune system destruction. The deaths will look like flu caused sepsis and fast moving pneumonia and weird unexplained declines that can be explained away as unusually severe post flu virus infection. The government likely knows this is coming and is setting up the narrative of a very bad flu season to explain it away. And of course, if you are immune compromised, flu itself can kill you. Philip McMillan is recommending the multi jabbed get the flu shot because it likely won’t do any good but it might help save a few people.
Since it’s the over 65 crowd who really get pressured to get jabbed over and over and many of my jab adoring elbows up friends are on their 7th and 8th jab, this will be very good for helping reduce CPP, OAS and income supplement costs and once the multi jabbed are dead, it will help with the health care crisis and housing crisis. So I suppose that’s the bright side.

As an Australian nearing retirement age, I did not catch the flu just like every year for at least the previous decade. Nobody I know caught the flu but 1.5% is only 1 in 60 the odds are not that great.
