          1. What’s not to like and where is he wrong:

“The PPC, which Bernier describes as a blend of populism, classical conservatism, and libertarianism, advocates for significant policy changes, including opposition to mass immigration, repeal of the Multiculturalism Act, restrictions on abortion, and rejection of the scientific consensus on climate change.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bernier opposed mandatory vaccinations and public health measures, participating in anti-lockdown protests and being arrested in June 2021 for violating public health orders in Manitoba.
He has also been vocal on social issues, asserting that there are only two sexes and claiming that immigration is leading to the replacement of native Canadians.”

          2. With respect, I know all about his policies, but I also know where he comes from.
Pretend I’m Jewish and he’s bacon.
            Is it prejudice?
            Absolutely.

          3. Buddy, I don’t especially like the Quebecois either, but I wouldn’t reject one that spoke my political language.

          4. Look, I can see how God might have forbidden to you to drink Pepsi, but I don’t see where He forbade you to vote for pepsis.

  1. And yet the vast majority of Canadians neither listen to, nor watch the CBC. It’s not just a commercial failure, it fails at its main role of pushing liberal propaganda. It is, in effect, a self-licking ice cream cone, existing solely for the purpose of its own existence.

  2. Don’t. Care.

Other MSM not only voted for this, they boot lick the [spit] Progs every opportunity they can. Give it to ’em good & hard.

Maybe they can learn to code AI…

  3. Two peas in a pod?
More like one pot full of piss.
And don’t think the “Lobbyist” paid for it at all.
    We the tax slaves did.
    You can’t hate them enough.

  4. As the viewership sharply declines, revenues and jobs go up. It’s like magic!

I’d be amazed… if I didn’t know the #MotherCorp is a money laundering scam that almost nobody watches. If I were a betting man, I’d put some devalued Canadian Rasbukniks up for #CBC’s streaming “viewers” being 95% Chinese bot-farms.

I mean, can anyone really listen to #RoseyBarBar for more than 30 seconds without dry-heaving? Even the bots are probably nauseous.

    1. Phantom

      A money laundering scam?

Most certainly. It would be interesting to determine how many CBC employees donated to a political party. Need I specify which one?

It’s like the foreign aid the Liberals still send to China. It comes back to Canada as donations from Chinese-Canadians to the Liberal party.

  5. L – “The Government is your only source of Truth!” repeat before each meal and until you say it in your sleep.

The Samizdat of the blogosphere for those subscribing to X- Starlink will be the only holdout… As those with low social credit scores will not be allowed to have internet service from a Canadian supplier.

    1. Currently outside Canads, FB is full of news.
Hope Starlink offers cell service soon, to be free of the Canards oligopolies.

  6. Defunding NPR and PBS warmed my heart as much as anything MY PRESIDENT has accomplished to date.

  7. I think you could make a pretty solid legal argument that CBC is in direct violation of the Competition Act.

AND, I think that you could easily make the argument that the creation of the CBC as a Crown Corporation no longer serves its original purpose. When it was founded there were a total of 88 media outlets in the entire country of Canada. Over 90% of those outlets were radio. The purpose for the creation of the CBC at the time of its inception was to fill the void on media outlets and provide a voice. NOW, however, there are 100 commercial television stations, 500 radio stations, and over 1,000 community newspapers. This does not even take into account the blogs, Vlogs, Video channels, and podcasts (which likely more than doubles the total).

Additionally, CBC brags about being instrumental in YouTube banning Canada’s most popular channel (which had more viewership than the CBC)… ‘Real Talk Politiks’. This is a blatant violation of the Competition Act.
