Appointment of Liberal MP Chrystia Freeland (University-Rosedale, Ont.) as Special Representative for the Reconstruction of Ukraine came with no office, no staff, no travel expenses or budget, records show. Freeland took the appointment with a $79,700 pay cut.
In other words, she’s no different than the majority of civil servants: doing pretend work in a make-believe job. And she’ll soon have a full staff to help her.
It will be a long time before there is any work, the Russians get a vote, and they are rolling.
So still running up her MP pension, while in a do nothing job that won’t accomplish anything until there is peace in ukraine.
