John Leake- Mass Stabbing on UK Train Casts Spotlight on British Stabbing Epidemic
In the year ending March 2025, 53,000 knife or sharp instrument offenses were recorded in England and Wales (population 61 million) which represents an 81% increase over the last decade.
Compare that to 84,000 gunshot incidents in the United States (population 340 million) in 2023. While gunshots have a much higher case fatality rate than stabbing, knives can still inflict horrible injuries with lifelong sequelae. The spectacle of man coming after you with a knife is also one of the most terrifying experiences imaginable.
That place needs to be nuked.
I predict that modified brollies with a long pointy end will soon be carried by many.

BTW … I’ve kept reading over and over that this ‘British Citizen’ was wielding a “kitchen knife”. Then I saw a picture of him holding what looked like a Bowie-style knife … extra gleaming and sharp. And let me say here … to my eternal shame … that if I ever came at you with one of MY kitchen knives … you’d get some really nasty welts … maybe some bruises.
