The June 6th, 1944 invasion at Normandy was hugely successful but then the Allied troops got stuck, battling German forces across great swaths of hedgerows. Operation Cobra finally allowed them to break out into the rest of France.

    1. You know … it’s times like these, and people like these thieves … that make me question my own Christian ethics. Why didn’t I think to cheat the system. Cheat my taxes. Use insider trader advantages? Call every property my primary domicile? Why am I so bloody honest and ethical? It’s not like Sky Daddy will give me credits or anything, right? It’s useless to “Pray” for economic security, right? It’s better to just TAKE it. Why can’t I live like Democrat elites? Why can’t I be rotten to the core? Nobody cares. Nobody will do anything to enforce ethics anyway. All I have to do is say … “I forgot”

“Russia prides itself on being an energy superpower, but Petrol stations in several regions have run dry while prices have surged to record highs and motorists queue for hours.”

“Analysts estimate that Ukraine’s recent strikes on Russian oil refineries have disrupted at least 17% of all of Russia’s refining capacity, an equivalent of 1.1m barrels a day. And while drone strikes usually disable only part of a refinery’s capacity, sanctions have cut off Russia from western technology, making repairs slower and more complicated.”

    1. Gotta love it, thinks the Guardian is a reliable source for news. The B-2 bot urgently needs a major upgrade, either that or the scrap heap. I vote the latter.

        1. Then why did they ban all export of it? Or any you so massively retarded as to deny the petrol export ban in Russia?

          1. Your master must have severely beaten you on your head. Can someone report Flinny for animal cruelty, please?

          2. He may not be a bot, you know. He may actually be the flower and future of the Ukrainian nation, as he apparently sees himself. But what conclusions would follow from that? None that a sane man would care to draw. Let it not be so. And especially, don’t tell Comrade Stalin that it’s so.

    1. Andrew Coyne is the same jerk who called the Freedom Convoy participants a “virus”, and who fully endorsed Trudeau’s use of the Emergency Act against them. Coyne came to the CBC and became the CBC.
