  1. Best in the world!
It shows how much we love you; perhaps we have given Canada too much and should drive a harder bargain? It could still be the best trade deal in the world with Canada giving up quite a bit more.

  2. Carney isn’t an imbecilic “lithping thethpian” of a prime minister, but he’s certainly in wayyyy over his head.
Like Freeland and the rest of the Gangnam Stools that make up cabinet, Marx is fundamentally challenged and basically out to lunch.

Those old fcking Liberal bastards, Mulroney & Chretien, at least knew WTF they were doing even if they were corrupt SOB’s.

Elbows Up was always a poor disguise for Tits Up and Carney is a dead Prime Minister Walking…so hell remain in power for 4-5 years and manage the tire fire – shit show that is Chinada.

  3. Anyone posting here sees what’s happening, the ones that are still invoking plausible denial haven’t had their world view deconstructed yet.
    That moment is coming.
Carney tucked his tail and is now on a tour to Europe to get something from Europe.
    And that’s the thing.
He has to come back from Europe with something or his peanut gallery is going to have to go through the stages of grief once they can’t invoke plausible denial when Carney comes back from Europe without something.

  4. Scott Adams misses Carnage’s intent:
    a) Carnage’s own money is invested in the US.
    b) Carnage and his wife are ardent gang green climate change bedwetters, so they’re looking for ways to move manufacturing, oil and gas, etc out of Canada
Carnage is succeeding wonderfully at point b.

    1. L – Carney’s future achievements:
      1. Is to be the last Prime Minister of Canada, in both senses of the word.

      2. Secondly, have his Brookefield colleagues first in line for natural resources of the failed state.

      3. To be awarded an honorary lifetime achievement award from the World Economic Forum.

Of course, reality could step in a throw a wrench into that future?

  5. Carney sees the writing on the wall concerning the USMCA (the NAFTA replacement). As it stands now, that agreement includes Canada and Mexico. Come next year (2026) when the agreement is re-evaluated Trump will simply say…”we’re ending it” and doing trade agreements with Canada and Mexico individually. The agreement still goes to 2036, but it won’t be renewed.

The tell on this was Trump saying the only good thing about the USMCA is that it’s NOT NAFTA.

Carney is just trying to set the plate and imply that he wants the USMCA extended for another 16 years. He won’t get his wish. Currently, Trump is aggressively setting up trade agreements worldwide, including many expansions such as Indonesia, Japan, EU, and Argentina. A number of these agreements deal with similar items exported to the US by Canada. In short, with each passing day/ agreement Trump is weakening Canada’s negotiating position. Carney is doing nothing to neutralize that. Were I Canadian, I’d be rather pissed about that.

  6. I think the point is being totally missed here. There is no effort to achieve an agreement. The point is to keep the focus on Donald Trump. It got Carney elected and may well allow him to install his vision of Canada. With at least 80% of people I converse with, Donald Trump is believed to be the sole source of our challenges. There is very little awareness of the true picture , And I suspect most of us here wish we had a clearer picture of where we will end up. From the start I have contended immediately going to war with your best customer was unlikley to be a winning strategy. As for Trump , he continues to achieve what we are told is not possible. Let’s hope his ability to exceed predictions and defy the critics gives rise to waters that floats our boat. But truly it appears to me the Carny \Liberal plan appears to me to be to drill holes in the boat bottom. There has been numerous escape ramps and if they wanted a deal we would have one.
