India, the world’s third-largest importer of oil, is the biggest buyer of seaborne Russian crude, but the country’s state refiners have not sought Russian crude in the past week or so, sources familiar with the refiners’ purchase plans told Reuters.”

    I wonder, how much the Russian “economy” (“kleptocracy” is a better term) will be worth if Rosneft ends up the same as Gazprom (pumping out more hydrocarbons than they can sell)… In any case, the Russians who are willing to go and die in Ukraine for $2000+ will have to either go and die for much less than that or look for alternative sources of income, such as becoming migrant labour in China or Kazakstan, that is if the 25+ generation alkie quadrupeds can be taught any useful skills.

    Thoughts on the family called Canada:

    “mommy” government – overbearing, demands to be obeyed, even when wrong (net zero, EV mandate).
    BC – says she is too pretty to help with the chores or help out at all (pipelines).
    Alberta/Saskatchewan – goes to work, supports the family, no one cares unless it’s allowance day (equalization).
    Manitoba – the middle child, with all the mental problems that come with that.
    Ontario – mostly okay, willing to help out, but has delusions of grandeur.
    Quebec – the narcissist, only me, all day, every day.
    Maritimes – kind of lazy, would starve to death if not spoon fed by mommy government.
    Natives – the spoiled brat of the family, my way or no way, in constant tantrum.
