  1. My philosophy is that most “paranormal evidence” can be explained by science. Science that we know, and science that we have yet to master. Einstein’s Theory of Relativity suggests that time is based on the observer’s frame of reference. What I mean is that past, present and future could conceivably exist at the same time based on the frame of reference. Add to that Block Theory which suggests that time isn’t flowing forward. Instead it exists in the same point of reference. So, essentially, past, present and future coexist.

Now, consider, the most common “evidence” of the paranormal. Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) recordings of “spirits.” If past, present and future all exist simultaneously, there may be the potential for picking up voices of the past or future. The same premise could be applied to apparitions. Even moving objects could conceivably be someone moving them in another time.

Whether it’s true paranormal, or just scientific reality, it’s still interesting. It’s a shame most of the online “investigators” are charlatans less interested in knowing the truth, and more interested in building an audience.

  2. We think that what we sense (see, hear, feel etc) is the physical reality. For example, that the image projected onto our retina is delivered unaltered to our brain. But who is to say what processing the brain does to the data before we “see” the local world. When I see the colour red, do others see the same red? Hence eye witness testimony is fraught with problems.
