While Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand, a DEI East Indian low-iq inconsequential fluff of nothing dithers about foreign aboriginal Rights, Donald Trumps Secretary of State Marco Rubio is out there kicking the corrupt cowardly United Nations in the teeth. My God this is a great time to be alive.
I do not agree with her, or admire her, but she is not dumb. She is well educated and from one of the seven sisters.
I like SoS Marco Rubio more and more. He’s showing leadership strengths that make him a viable future presidential candidate. In the early years of our nation, the position of Secretary of State was a stepping stone to the presidency.
I still don’t completely trust Rubio on some issues based on things he did as a Senator, but I agree that he been a perfect fit as Sec of State and is removing some of the doubts I had with him concerning foreign policy.
So long as Rubio NEVER mentions the word “amnesty” or any synonym of “amnesty” … ever … again.

And still the US funds and hosts the UN. The US alone has the power to kill the monster but continues to pay the abuser for the abuse.

Agreed.

I’ll never understand why.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find the entire UN Plaza’s been extensively bugged, with the other end of the tap splitting between the CIA, FBI and NSA.
That’s part of it. The other part is easily understood by anyone who has raised kids. At the toddler age there would invariably be times where you desperately had to complete a task, while your toddler was craving attention. The simple solution was to give them something that mimicked your actions. If you had to make a telephone call. The toddler gets a toy phone to play with. If you are cooking dinner for everyone, you give the toddler something safe to play with that appears to them as if they are contributing or helping.
It keeps them occupied.
In the case of some “toddler like” countries, it keeps them from wandering off and “sticking their fingers in the socket” (aka: committing genocide on political opponents).
Think of the UN as a Pre-school, and you aren’t that far off. Most of their work isn’t fit to be displayed on the refrigerator door, but we do it anyway so they don’t feel bad and throw a tantrum.

That’s a keeper, that one… 🙂
Too bad our vaunted 17 Intelligence Agencies … all put together … aren’t as good as Mossad who plant bombs in their enemies pagers. Yeah … we’re planting “bugs” … like it were still 1952.
