  4. The forever wars generate much higher ratings than the bad-orange-man tirades.

    They might actually increase their viewership amongst their key demo. Fearful 80 year olds with cable packages and a need to buy seniors life insurance, WHISPER QUIET stick vacuums (shipping from a Canadian warehouse near you and priced in elbow-up-bucks), and shiny gold packaged gummies for the grandkids who never visit.

    Oh sorry, shoot I typed “forever wars” at least I didn’t type “all lives matter”.

    if you answer yes then they are set back a few months.

    If you answer No they are years away.

    Pretty sure CNN has no better idea then you or me as to the answer.

    One of the tom Clancy books had a good run down on what is needed, you need the materials which they have been making for years and is presumably good enough, you need a good machine shop which there is at least a few hundred in the first world and depending how fancy you get you may need a few exotic materials that can be stolen or borrowed from say north korea. But you do need someone with the technical skills to actually build one good enough to survive a missile launch.

    Or you just mash up a whole lot of uranium into dust probably kill a few lab techs and toss it in the backup of a truck with some conventional explosives drive it somewhere and let it off and a few 100 people will start getting sick and die.

  8. Starting to think the Iranians weren’t even working on a bomb but saying they were as a negotiating tactic. After all they had Obama give them billions and Kerry constantly promising the moon to them.
